Reviews for Hotel Petit
Review 1:Did not like the twin beds pushed together to make a double, but that seemed pretty common through Denmark, and wasn't a dealbreaker here.
Review 2:Very pleasant & cosy in a perfect location.
Review 3:there is little to no different between a regular room and a superior room! seriously not worth the 100DKK price difference
Review 4:the location is amazing and the staff was very helpful and kind. it's close to the center of town and the marina. the famous beaches where the two seas come together is only 3km away!
Review 5:What a delightful Hotel for my 2 night sojourn to Skagen. Very easy to find: 1 minute from the railway station. Excellent breakfast and comfortable room. Beautiful new bathroom. Friendly, knowledgable and efficient staff.
Review 6:Too much noise from the other rooms and the street. Breakfast was good but again, way too much noise in breakfast room. Tea/coffee machine instead of a kettle.
Review 7:The room is clean, quality bathroom.
Review 8:The hotel was noisy. Bring earplugs.
Review 9:Great buffet breakfast! Close to the museums and harbour. Easy walk to restaurants and shops.
Review 10:No air conditioning, steep staircase up to 1st floor
Review 11:Nice location, friendly staff, free WiFi
Review 12:It's more a reflection of Skagen than the hotel. My only issue is the price for what you get.
Review 13:The staff were great and very helpful.
Review 14:Bad ventilation in the room. Small bathroom. High price but it is a low class hotel with bad facilities. Do not recommend to stay there.
Review 15:The staff were very obliging. Nothing was too much trouble for them
Review 16:good location and good breakfast friendly staff
Review 17:It should be a twin bed. Also missed a hair dryer
Review 18:Clean, nice, quiet
Review 19:Very good breakfast
Review 20:noise from the road nearby..,but no big problem?
Review 21:Access to the town and station.
Review 22:high professional and frendly staff, location in the centre of the historical city, very clean and modern design.
Review 23:The owners were really nice, breakfast was good. No complaints
Review 24:- Bathroom ceiling was leaking, towels had been placed by owner prior to stay but did little to prevent a flood - Paid parking
Review 25:+ Functional
Review 26:My room was quite small, but enough for one. Ventilation in the room could be better.
Review 27:Friendly and helpful personal. Clean. Central location.
Review 28:Tea making facilities did not have English Breakfast Tea, Only Earl Gray and 6 other choices.
Review 29:Everything worked, nothing was too much trouble
Review 30:Disturbing traffic noise during the night in our room which was facing the street.
Review 31:Clean and well prerared rooms. Good breakfast.
Review 32:Skagen can be a party place during weekends. If you will avoid that - stay out of the city center
Review 33:Breakfast Location Hosts
Review 34:During our holiday we stayed at various hotels, but Hotel Petit was by far the friendlies. Everything was nice
Review 35:no proper bicycle parking, some traffic noise from the road.
Review 36:super breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, great location, nice and airy room
Review 37:Great location. Very friendly staff
Review 38:Having to pay extra for parking. Have never had to do this elsewhere.
Review 39:had an excellent meal at Restaurant Jacob. And good walk along beach. Good art museum.
Review 40:We came by electric car and had difficulty getting it charged. Finally used the wasking room. The Electric chargers near by did not suit our car.
Review 41:Very good location. Nice room. But the deluxe room we had should have possibility to open the door just a little. Very windy.
Review 42:The single room was too small only with a small ceiling window. The water of the shower goes directly to the floor and all of it is wet just after a shower.
Review 43:The friendly staff. The tasty breakfast with a wide choice of food. The central location. The luminous spacious triple room.
Review 44:N/A
Review 45:Very friendly and competent staff. Hotel itself - cosy and charming. But same time very comfortable - large bathroom, clean room with all necessary facilities. Generous breakfast buffet and good location. Fantastic place !
Review 46:The room was on the main road so was too noisy to leave the window open.If the window was open its possible for somebody from the street to openfully from the outside. The bed was a fold away into an ugly woodensurround. Bit noisy from the springs and very hard mattrass. Don'texpect a fold away for the money spent on the room. Sharp hidden woodencorners on the bed which my partner hit very hard with her shin. Ownerswere very apologetic and responsive to this and look into it it. Reasonfor fold away is because they do a lot of conferences and sometimes puttwo beds in the room. We got this room because we requested a double. Ifyour happy with a twin you get two beds pushed together. Owner was veryopen and honest about this. Room was hot and I wonder how it will be inthe heat of summer as there appeared to be no aic conditioning or fan.Maybe these are put in if requested. I went to Skagen for a romantic andcharming weekend. The room did not live up to this i'm afraid. Itwas functional and adequate. But sadly lacking the Skagen charm. Such ashame because the owners were lovey and full of charm. Would be nice tosee their personalities in the room.
Review 47:Staff very helpful and friendly and both check in and check out. Veryopen to suggestions for improvement. Breakfast was adequate. Whole hotelvery very clean. Location for shops and center. Able to park even thoughthere was a small fee.
Review 48:The hotel is really cosy and has everything you need for a holiday in Skagen. Location is perfect, 2 mins from the train station and the main street. Really nice staff. Breakfast was fair.
Review 49:The constant bad smell from the harbour, the stench was unbearable and will not stay in that area even if I was paid. We booked a luxury room and paid dearly but the room fell way short of lux quality room. The receptionist told us it was high season but when we mentioned it to shops and restaurants it seems that this was low season but the rates were high season.
Review 50:near to the centre.
Review 51:The bed was not the most comfy one. Would have been nice with eggs & bacon at breakfast.
Review 52:Very nice staff and good service. Great breakfast. Good location, close to the "sopping street". Nice budget hotel!
Review 53:Coomfortable, pretty room, could open window for fresh air. Great breakfast in attractive dining areas with everything you could want. Comfortable beds with nice linens.
Review 54:Low key but well run reception. Large bedroom. Relaxed and holiday-maker friendly feel to the place. The hotel is in a very good location in the town with free parking nearby.
Review 55:The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are pleasant and adequate. A good breakfast is served in a sunny room. The location is close to restaurants and museums and wharves. There is no elevator for guest use and the front stairs are steep but there is a staff elevator that may be used for luggage. Parking is behind the hotel and there is a rear entry close by. On the whole it is a pleasant place to stay in a fine location.
Review 56:The requirement to check in before 1900 hours can be disconcerting - especially as it requires you to call the management in order to get the right codes etc. Especially when you juxtapose this requirement with the very tight control of parking exercised by the hotel.
Review 57:The location of the hotel was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fine as well. It is a cute little hotel for sure.
Review 58:Perhaps we got the smallest room with thinnest walls in the hotel!
