Review 1：The door key was attached to the card that worked the electrics,so you had to open and close the door in darkness.

Review 15：Wifi was only made available for ONE person, ONE tablet (despite us having a booking for 2 persons, a couple). Serious let down!!! This was not outlined on info. We would have not reserved had we known. We think it is normal to expect to have free Wifi access for, at least, the number of persons booked/ paid for. Basic and essential requirement to have now-a-days.

Review 16：Fantastic location with lovely views and access to a promenade. Convenient parking. Small accommodation but more than sufficient. Spotless and comfortable. Slept very well. Having the cafe and breakfast next door was most convenient and pleasant.

Review 17：Overall a good little hotel, but a mystery was the cigarette smoke. With a steady northerly breeze I opened my north-facing window and kept it out of the room. To its credit, management clearly posts threats of extra cleaning charges if a client is caught smoking in the room. So what gives? Possibly something I saw all over Spain: smokers in doorways, their toxic waste billowing right back inside. They confuse "in the doorway" with "outside." The constant smoke in the hallway suggests it wasn't a guest; likely an employee or someone else grabbing a drag too close to an entrance all through the day (and night).

Review 18：Small hotel close to beach. Friendly staff, very helpful. Mostly caters to northern European beach crowd; I was one of few Americans they could recall (we have our own beaches closer to home), so I may not be that representative, but it served my needs well: an adequate, comfortable little place for an overnight stay.

Review 22：Location. Cleanliness. Friendliness of staff. Stayed in a double superior room with a sea view, very comfortable. Television, air conditioning and safety deposit box and small fridge in room, all made our stay more enjoyable.

Review 23：Lack of proper ventilation in the simgle room at the back - towels wouldn't dry completely overnight. Poor english from staff but this was also kind of charming. Lack of information at the reception area of places to visit in Torre del Mar or around (old towns, natural reserves, beaches, Malaga etc.) or where to find information (tourist info office location and phonenumber).

Review 79：Where do I start?!!!1. Described as Non-Smoking throughout. Not the case! We specified a non-smoking room when booking anyway but immediately we entered the room the smell was overpowering. There are stickers on the mirror in the room advising smoking is not allowed and yet they provide ash trays in the room!!!! Even stood on the outside balcony with the bedroom door open, the smell was VERY strong. We stayed one night only and when we got up in the morning our bed clothes reeked of tabacco where it had permeated through the mattress. My husband told the guy on reception and his reply was "no problema". 2. We booked a Superior Double Room with Balcony. If this is described as Superior I wonder what the other rooms were like!! We stayed in Room 9, it had a small balcony, most of that space taken up with the air-conditioning unit. The bathroom without a bath! As a previous reviewer said, the bath wasn't actually even half size, more of an oversized shower tray! Beware of the bed legs too, despite that reviewer mentioning stubbed toes - we did!!! On the balcony itself, there is glass partitioning between the rooms, so no privacy. 3. Breakfast - we opted for breakfast at the time of booking. Never before, when staying in various hotels in Spain had we had such a meagre one! We could only have one glass of orange juice, one cup of coffee and our small baquette was toasted for us with the choice of olive oil, jam and butter, ham or tomatoes. We chose the traditional tomatoes which usually come in a small dish to enable you to serve your toast the way you would prefer. In this case, it was already spread, very frugally, on our toast when it was served to us! There were other options available for breakfast for an additional cost!
