Review 1：The staff were all welcoming and helpful. The location is fabulous and the dining is great. Even though the weather was not cooperative, Schluchsee is still picturesque. This is our second visit and I plan a third.

Review 11：The building was great with comfortable rooms, the location was good with great lakeside views. Restaurant was good, a bit on the expensive side and limited on its range but the quality was very good. Provided covered parking for motorcycles. Would visit again, staff very helpful

Review 15：Nice hotel with good restaurant and beautiful views, very plentiful breakfast, nice to have the pool even though very small. Good public transport access to places like Lake Titisee and Freiberg. Good sized room. Great to have free transport and facilities card which I used on boats and cable car

Review 16：Kept waiting for 2 hours to check in, asked, 'what name is it?' 3 times during this period. Beds were awful! Kitchen exhaust was right outside the bedroom window. Nice. Rooms are scruffy, wood chip wallpaper, really? The tiles in the bathroom have been painted over, badly. Complaints to Reception met with 'Oh dear...' There is a take the money and get out of Dodge attitude to the place

Review 17：Location is superb. Downstairs, reception, bar area, dining area, all lovely. Spa area is lovely as well as the splash pool.

Review 18：Noisy road/s between hotel and lake, and not sufficient parking at the hotel for all guests at peak times. On a few occasions there was no hot water and no hot food at breakfast, although each of these issues were quickly resolved.

Review 23：We got a room window at the lake, even though it was clowdy, yet the lake was fabulous ever nerve calming. We loved it and loved the walk in this small town. The kitchen served us the best dinner that we had on our trip in the Black Forest area

Review 24：The schwarzwald card that they give you to gain free entry and discounts to places was not offered to us and we only knew about it when we were paying our bill to check out and the receptionist expected us to return the card that our bill said we had been given, so if you stay make sure you ask for this.

Review 34：Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was great. We had a meal in the restaurant which was excellent. Schluchsee is a pleasant little village and the hotel is situated in the main square. A Schwarzwald card offering a number of free things to do and see was provided for the duration of our stay and this included travelling on local trains and buses.
