Review 1：The décor of the hotel is old-fashioned. The request not to wash the towels everyday seems to have been ignored. Breakfast could have a bit more variety (e.g. eggs and/or bacon).

Review 2：The friendliness and helpfulness of all staff. Availability of parking on the premises. We requested a quiet room and got one. The possibility to book in late and leave very early. The view of the mountains and the sea from the balcony is breathtaking.

Review 4：Loved loved loved the people! The receptionists, the cooks, the servers, the pool guy... Amazing first rate people! Compete is an amazing town, we fell in love with it the second we stepped a foot there. We came for 2 days and stayed for 10!

Review 9：If the view wasn't enough, the food was perfect, the room simple, but charming and the staff were beyond helpful and friendly. I had lost my passport and thanks to their help everything was sorted.

Review 10：Booked at last minute and was given large room with small window. Asked to change for room with terrace and was accommodated immediately (extra 5 euros). Fabulous views from terrace down the valley to the coast. Great variety at breakfast and they even cook bacon and eggs freshly if you wish! Dinner was included in our room rate and the postre of fresh figs was delicious!

Review 11：Payment was taken from my account long before I arrived whereas website leads me to believe i will pay on arrival which is much better as I can pay cash and thus avoid excessive bank charges. This may be a booking.com problem rather than a hotel balcon one, but it needs sorting! I would very much welcome a cheaper deal for solo travellers. Staying in Competa is currently an expensive business!

Review 21：The hotel is in Competa - ideal for walking in the Sierra Tejeda. This 3* hotel is perfectly located with its own secure car park. Its a short and very pleasant untrafficked walk along Calle San Antonio to the centre of town with good restaurants, cafes, etc. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and you can get a packed lunch (very good value) on request.
