Reviews for Gästehaus & Weingut Hubertushof
Review 1:No credit cards accepted. Had to run to ATM. No one here spoke English so there was a lot of gesturing.
Review 2:The room was tasteful, large and the bathroom was awesome. All seemed to have been recently refurbished. The price for 2 waster reasonable. Bikes were stored in a secure garage.
Review 3:Was expecting to be able to pay by credit card as that the norm in the UK (& it was our first day in a German village) but they only took cash. Prompted a visit to the local bank !
Review 4:Facilities were excellent & price very reasonable
Review 5:The rooms were not really sound proof and no balcony.
Review 6:Very clean rooms. The village was located just by the river. Although the village was quiet it had several restaurants.
Review 7:Owners attitude was like the decor - clean and clinical, not welcoming. Room overlooked road so not possible to leave window open. Best for one overnight stop.
Review 8:Good value and location.
Review 9:Slightly deceptive descriptions of "terrace and balcony" rooms as neither our room or our friend's room had either. The reason we stayed here was for the balcony or terrace.
Review 10:Trittenheim is an ok stopping destination, but nothing special. The photos and description of our room said all rooms with balcony or terrace. Our room had no balcony and no terrace. The "terrace" is an enclosed picnic area in the front yard of the winery/guesthouse down two flights of stairs and across the driveway. As we do not speak German and the owners do not speak English, well, you can understand the possibilities for miscommunication. Nothing really wrong here but I'd not recommend staying here unless you are assured of a room with a balcony and overlooking vineyard.
Review 11:Nobody around when we arrived, had to search for ages to find anyone. Along with another couple who were there through booking.com, we were given an inferior breakfast to other guests which made us feel very uncomfortable, we have never had this happen before and would never stay there again. The village was not designed to make the best of the riverside location, no wine bars or restaurants with riverside location, apart from one which was not appealing.
Review 12:room was good, clean and had a good shower
Review 13:WiFi wasn't working
Review 14:Large room, good beds, good bath room, very kind staff
Review 15:Great tasting, nice location, friendly staff, big rooms and comfortable beds.
Review 16:Cleanness and the breakfast
Review 17:Location, friendliness of welcome,en-suite facilities, balcony with outside seating area, parking
Review 18:Nothing
Review 19:Its feeling of our being part of the family; it is close to restaurants, etc, as Trittenheim is a small town.
Review 20:I haven't seen all of the Mosel valley, but from what I did see, Trittenheim was among the most beautiful of the little towns along the river banks.
Review 21:Nice little weingut guesthouse, close to the Moselle cycle path. Welcomes bikes, good for a one-night stop over. A few nice eateries within walking distance.
Review 22:When we arrived the owners just told us that it was overbooked and no more room for us. No alternative was prepared, they started telephoning, but we preferred to look around ourselves and found a good and cheap hotel on the river shore. Probably these people should concentrate on wine production and leave tourism to others.
Review 23:Nothing. We could not see the room even because they gave it to somebody else before our arrival.
Review 24:Rooms on 2nd floor and stairs quite steep.
Review 25:The hotel is well situated in village ,one road back from river. Shops and bank etc.. 100m away. Rooms clean and roomy. Breakfast excellent . The hostess left us to ourself but was there when needed. She spoke excellent English.
Review 26:Trittenheim was quite a quiet place and there are roadworks going on outside the guest house. No noise though.
Review 27:Very helpful couple who looked after us for our stay. Very nice standard of accommodation and good continental breakfast included. Nice restaurant by the bridge.
Review 28:It was a lovely house, plenty of space in the bedroom and a nice bathroom. Very quiet good location towards the end of the village. We ate at Pinocchio's very close by which we can recommend.
Review 29:Weak WiFi signal upstairs.
Review 30:Great location for enjoying the relaxing atmosphere, the great German food, and delicious wine of the Mosel valley.
Review 31:the rooms were nice and well taken care of. We actually ordered an appartment, which was not available. The host offered a satisfying solution.
Review 32:Lots pf road works and not a lot open
Review 33:Picturesque location
Review 34:staff were not able to speak in English No internet access No nice view
