Review 1：Inflexible staff, small breakfast, no late check in, we were told off for phoning home in our room at 8.30am!

Review 2：Tourist card is fantastic, hotel is super clean, parking is safe, balcony is great, honesty bar is well stocked

Review 3：The breakfast was delicious and the staff always friendly. On the day of check out, they even offered to give us a free ride to the train station as it was raining! :)

Review 4：- Noisy: we were given a room on the ground floor. So a lot of noise from the upper room and also from the reception. One can hear every single sound and noise from the reception and other rooms in the rooms located on the GF. - Bathroom needs renovation - location is not really ideal, no view from our room to anything - Compared to the quality it is a bit pricy - beds are too small especially if one is tall

Review 6：I'm a large man, so this may be unfair. That said, bed in the room was a little small for me. Soundproofing was not fantastic. Family in room next to me had a very noisy child...heard every crying fit.

Review 7：Staff was kind, helpful, and spoke English Breakfast was on par with most hotels in the area; however the Hosts take time to provide heated rolls where as most other locations serve cold. Small touch, but makes a difference. Location was walking distance from town center and hiking trails. Did not start my car for two days!

Review 24：NO negative points re guesthouse. Beware of using your credit card though as no cafe/bars in the area accept them (cash only) only place we found we could use was Feldberg Ski area, even Lidil in Feldberg wouldn't accept - only cash card!

Review 25：The owners were fantastic and made you feel very welcome. The rooms were clean and comfortable, coffee machine and drinks available all day from dining room, train was 10mins walk and town centre 5mins. Feldberg ski resort only 10mins on train and run every hour. Lovely scenic place and hope to return again.

Review 27：This is the first hotel I have stayed over 15 countries which requires the guest not having the shower after 10 PM!. It was said, it would influence other guests, Who would like to always shower before 10 PM when you go on holiday ! I do not mind if they have such rusles, but please list it clearly at booking.com then I would not even book it. It was said at booking.com there is wireless internet, we arrived at 7 PM and forgot to ask the password for WIFI and also the reception did not tell. we went out for dinner and back at 10:05PM. Then I have contacted receiption, I got the answer, you should not call after 10:00PM and the boss is not here so I do not have the password. After quite some talking, finally the guy agreed to provide the password. I logged in with Iphone and used for 5 min, the internet stopped again. Again, if they are not able to provide the service or not willing to provide, please do not mentioned it at booking.com! I have even taken a picture on the notice which warned guests who 'd better not shower after 10PM

Review 29：I like a hotel bar, and one here would have come in handy for that afterdinner last one for the road,, saying that, looking at the guests aroundme I would surely being drinking alone in there, as bed time was around9 30pm. For most.

Review 30：Young family run guest house, who spoke German, English and Spanishwhich came in handy for my Spanish girlfriend. Quiet and friendly atmos.Not for the party crowd. Great stop over if you're there to hike n bike.Value for money especially the large beers in the fridge at e1.80 Abottle. Rooms spacious clean fresh airy and light, ask for an upstairsroom as the views are great whilst finishing off those beers on onesbalcony. Happy memories...

Review 31：We had a very friendly welcome and a most enjoyable stay at the guesthouse.Our hosts offered a very good traditional three course meal, withchoice of two menus, at a most reasonable price. The bedroom couldaccommodate a spacious bed as well as a table and two chairs and openedout on to a private balcony with an open view. Another attractivefeature is the " Krone" card which is made available by the hotel freeof charge to guests staying for two nights or more. The card allowed us,free of charge, rail travel to Freiburg, boat trips on both Schluchseeand Titisee, half-day use of the new E.bikes (motor assisted) and manyother attractions within the region. Altogether, a first class service.
