Review 1：In this price category I had expected a little more. The bathroom looks like it is from the seventies and never renovated, the toilet flush is working very poorly, and the carpet in the room was old and worn as well...

Review 2：The view from the balcony was amazing, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast is great.

Review 3：I didn't even imagine that in a hotel with such scoring there is no air conditioner available in a hot day of summer and there were no net on windows to protect you from scary flies .

Review 4：I wish I could have stayed longer and tried out the walking paths. We were a little surprised about an unexpected charge for our 14 year old daughter because we had entered 3 people in our reservation, but the hotel waived it for us "this once". I think that means the Booking.com website and the hotel might not be totally agreeing on what is on offer.

Review 5：This hotel helped us easily with gluten-free options for breakfast, even a gluten-free breakfast roll, which is pretty rare. The setting is lovely. From our room, we saw little sailboats practicing turns on the lake and Canada geese flew by our window. Peaceful and serene at this time of year.

Review 32：The staff did the check in en check out very efficient but had no eyeciontact at all, the oldfashioned decor of the whole hotel, the fact that the hotel advices you to keep the windows shut because of flies and mosquitos and that without having a airconditioning in the room it was 24 degrees in the room in October, the renovation of the hotel started at 8 oçlock in the morning why not wait after checkout time, one of the utilities in the bathroom is foul smelling hair- and bodysoap, pillows and duvet are syntetic and the pillow is almost a empty shell, no real other pillows available. We do expect a lot more of a 4 star hotel even the location is not quiet for there is a railroad and a highway in the enviroment.

Review 33：Apart from the reception staff I found the other staff very un attentiveand inflexible - I wanted to have a beer in a tall glass I saw onanother table only to be told that I couldn't as it was another makeof beer!! - myself and another German guest wanted to have our breakfastin the sun facing the lake, but we were moved to a table in the shadefacing the back of the hotel as those tables were reserved for someguests that evening! ! My fish had bones in every mouthful and when Ireported this I was told "thanks for telling us that we will letthe Chef know" no apology of any sort. The room was also very smallwith dated furniture and was very hot with no fan or air conditioning.Overall this is a classic situation of a hotel which was top quality 20plus years ago but has not been updated and has an arrogance about it.Living on past glories. It is the most expensive hotel l stayed in andthe pleasant experience.

Review 35：The check out time in the hotel is 12.15 and we requested at 10am for one hour extension to allow us check out at 1pm (13.00) amazingly the supervisor at the reception said we must check out at 12 noon, our protest fell on deaf ears, so we checked out at 9.30am after breakfast! For a hotel of that standard, one would have expected flexibility

And are such levelthat we have only experienced in 5 star hotels so far. The location about 10 minutes drive outof town is ideal if you want to combine a city visit with walks orgolfing outside. The restaurant in-house is excellent and highlyrecommendable too! (We enjoyed dinner twice!) All in all we loved ourstay and definitely will be back!

Review 40：I lacked an exhaust system in the bathroom and the room itself. Maybe it was there, but I still felt a bit higher humidity. Since the hotel is located on the bank of the lake, moskitoes does not enable to keep the window open during the night.
