Review 2：The breakfast was over the top! Loved how our table was reserved by our room number and laid out. No buffet line!

Review 5：Location - paid extra for "river view" and balcony room,overpriced at 190 Euros for 2 nights and 10 Euros for our dog. The smallbalcony only gave us a glimpse of the river between a large tree &building. Balcony looked out onto a car park and unkempt garden area. Weate elsewhere as the hotel is in the centre of village where there is noatmosphere and the outside eating area was untidy and not welcoming.Hotel locked by 9.30pm so could not have a drink in the bar in theevening. No breakfast buffet - food already put on plates, therefore nochoice! Room - adequate but cramped. No satellite tv very limitedterrestial channels on an old style tv. Bathroom very dated. Compared tomany other hotels we have stayed at this is by far the most expensivefor relatively poor facilities.

Review 18：We found little to fault the place. The decor was a little old fashionedbut could perhaps be said to be in keeping with the surroundings. Let'scall it - "functional" - certainly not modern. Traben Trarbach was agood 4 kms away - too far for a quick stroll to the shops.

We were made to feel very welcome and boththe evening dinner and full breakfast were more than we could have hopedfor. The junior member of our party was particularly pleased to have afunctioning and free wlan connection in the apartment. We were only astones throw from the banks of the Mosel river for that late nightstroll to help the huge dinner settle. We were perfectly happy with thisno nonsense, simple, family run establishment. You're surrounded by verysteep vineyards and full bottles of the final product from the vines inthe restaurant!!
