Reviews for Hotel Kaiserhof

Review 1:The noise from the building site across the road. It went on right through the night, some days. Or started early in the morning. The double glazing was not sufficient. It would have been nice to have at least 1 English speaking channel on the TV.

Review 2:The hotel was nice and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.

Review 3:Rooms facing the main street are fairly noisy especially during weekends when drunk yelling teenagers continuously walk by during the night.

Review 4:Excellent Spa facilities. Very friendly and forthcoming staff.

Review 5:There was some noise in the night from the streets; nothing extreme but it woke us up unfortunately.

Review 6:Friendly and helpful staff, great restaurant and excellent breakfast.

Review 7:Only German speaking TV channels

Review 8:Nicely nested in the woods, where several pathways invite you to stroll around. Very cosy atmosphere. Large and comfortable bedrooms, some with separated lounge and small kitchen. Good fresh and bio food. Nice and helpful staff. In a word: a perfect place to cut off from busy life.

Review 9:Wifi was useless - Didn't see the point in bringing this up with staff, as it seemed to be a bandwidth problem. No ironing facilities (had to pay for shirts to be ironed). Location of hotel (near train station & bus stops) meant lots of miscreants hanging en route to city centre. Staff were average at best.

Review 10:Clean hotel with nice decor and features.

Review 11:Close to some noisy clubs (though window insulation blots this out mostly) and door to room opens outwards which is weird

Review 12:Family run, very clean guest oriented hotel with good facilities

Review 13:The pillow is too soft.

Review 14:The hotel is located within walking distance to the town centre and train station. The noise level in the area is low and good sleep in the night is achievable. There is air con in the room which I find it useful especially on hot summer days.

Review 15:Staff were very friendly but not well versed in the city and directions. Twice we received information that was inaccurate . Perhaps more education about Munster and key locations would be helpful for all reception staff.

Review 16:Well located, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent .

Review 17:The hotel is ideally located next to the train station, and right at the entrance of the historical downtown of Münster. The staff was very, very friendly. They could not do more to have us happy. Breakfast was great, with very high quality products. The price/quality relation could not have been better.

Review 18:Slightly noisey at night near main road. But we're used to no noise at all at home. So not too bad a problem.

Review 19:Most things. Restaurant really good. Easy walking distance to main sights. Reasonable rates.

Review 20:1) WiFi is terribly slow. (during all my stays). I was unable to: -- attend a webinar; -- Book an airplane ticket (went to Starbacks coffee in 5 min walk distance); -- Watch a TV series from iTunes; Actually even gmail work too slow in the room. WiFi coverage is not really good in room, but real problem is hotel connection speed. 2) Nor restaurant nor RoomService work during the night;

Review 21:Advantages -- Good bed -- extremely good location -- warm welcome staff -- price -- I really liked suite room;

Review 22:Nothing! Even the parking was convenient!

Review 23:Helpful staff, supremely clean room, huge walk-in closet, retro modern room interiors, SkyHD Sports on the tele, outstanding buffet breakfast.

Review 24:The restaurant has a small menu and is expensive. One's options in the vicinity are not too many. Also, it would be nice if they can give a bit of a discount to repeat stayers instead of just corporate clients, as I visit Muenster for a week or so three or four times a year.

Review 25:I like the staff--they are helpful and friendly, and the service is good. Some single rooms have better lay-out than others, so it's good to have a choice.

Review 26:Our bathroom was dissappointing - did not look as nice as on the photo. And small.

Review 27:The hotel is close to the city centre. Comfortable hotel with parking facility. Good breakfast.

Review 28:For such a **** hotel we cannot understand: the (few) steps you have to climb with suitcase at the entrance, the leaking wc, and the cracked bathtub.

Review 29:The spa in the price! The location, staff, and bed sizes are perfect.

Review 30:The bathroom must be much more bigger.

Review 31:Staff are friendly and helpful .and the Location of the Hotel.

Review 32:Very good location; Nice, comfortable hotel.

Review 33:Location, friendly and professional staff

Review 34:Room was a bit small

Review 35:Good bathroom

Review 36:Small reception area, lounge and bar

Review 37:Location, room, cleanliness

Review 38:Breakfast are expensive, no matter how variate it is !

Review 39:Very friendly and servicing staff

Review 40:In hotel breakfast was pricy €17.50 pp

Review 41:Great hotel with walk in closets, air conditioning, many personal amenities and classic feel.

Review 42:There was no water kettle in the room for making tea in the evening. The Wi-Fi was not working all the time and was very slow.

Review 43:bed a bit hard

Review 44:room immaculate, water boiling, everything worked perfectly with German precision.

Review 45:Was hoping for a more spacious room considering we had the De Luxe

Review 46:Short walk to the city centre. Friendly staff, nice spa, excellent restaurant

Review 47:extremely slow Wi-Fi speed

Review 48:convenient location proximity to train station many restaurants around the hotel

Review 49:Excellent location. Good nights sleep, very helpful and friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Has character.

Review 50:Staff were friendly. Location very convenient. Well-being centre just what we needed.

Review 51:The rooms; small and poor furniture. Not worthy of a 4-star hotel.

Review 52:The staff and the parking lot

Review 53:Staff was incredibly helpful and took time to help me.

Review 54:Just Fantastic

Review 55:The Spa is amazing!

Review 56:Feels a bit like an old fashion basic hotel. Needs some character and, modern art and lighting.

Review 57:Clean great location a bit noisy but OK

Review 58:Wi-fi; had to go into the hallway to get a signal for Skype.

Review 59:Everthing except

Review 60:- Friendly English-speaking staff. - Close to public transportation. - Free Umbrellas.

Review 61:The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was rich. The room was comfortable and wi-fi easily available.

Review 62:Wow, this place has zero curb appeal. Thank WWII for that and the bombs of the Allies which devastated Münster. Was a bit scared arriving from the back of the hotel because it is very ugly from that side and I thought 'oh oh.' But once inside those fears were eliminated and I loved it.

Review 63:Once inside, loved the decor and the comfort. Excellent breakfast buffet, fast coffee, nice choices. Really comfortable bed. Lots of choice on the TV. Parking close and convenient if not a bit pricey. Very helpful and professional front desk staff.

Review 64:It's a high standard hotel. I enjoyed very much my stay there. The staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient, the breakfast is excellent and the room is comfortable with good facilities. The location is excellent too. Definitely would like to go back there.

Review 65:It wasn't mentioned beforehand the restaurant would be closed on a Sunday night. Alternative for dinner weren't given spontaneously

Review 66:Location and parking facilities near the hotel itself

Review 67:Rooms could be a bit bigger.

Review 68:Cosy hotel. Close to the station but a bit aside what makes it not so nosy. Rather good free wifi - we could even watch movies on-line which is rare for Germany. Staff are very polite and helpful.

Review 69:Things were a bit slow in the bar, with some drinks simply not available, and some having to be brought from elsewhere in the hotel.

Review 70:The hotel was perfect for my needs (meeting business colleagues for a meeting with a local company.) The restaurant (both menu and service) were excellent. Even a 'Standard' room is perfectly roomy and comfortable for a business traveller.

Review 71:Access by car difficult. No directions and we were faced by a bus only lane to the hotel and no information about the location of the car park to the rear.

Review 72:Comfortable.

Review 73:Many of the in-room services and items in the mini-bar are quite expensive. For example, bathroom robe and slippers would have to be paid for. In my candid, opinion, there should be some degree of "human face" in every business one does and such a service shouldn't attract additional charges.

Review 74:Hotel Kaiserhof is centrally located in the heart of Muenster City making it accessible from all parts of the city. Its unique location coupled with the state-of-the-art facilities and value-for-money services offered by its staff makes it a place to always want to be.

Review 75:Evening restaurant menu was a set, very expensive, meal with no choice. The location, though very convenient near the station, has a number of cheap food outlets nearby, and some scruffy people lounging about.

Review 76:Large(many lf the rooms in this olld building are smaller) very comfortable room with best quality fittings, including long enamel bath.Breakfast of the highest quality and variety with proper leaf tea, fresh and with wide choice. Location midway between old town and the Aasee lake/park. A real brass room key to hang up behind the desk when you go out.

Review 77:nothing, everything was perfect

Review 78:Location with parking Beautiful furnishings air conditioning! large TV excellent Internet scrumptious breakfast and elegant

Review 79:I don't think I could find anything about it I didn't like. I will go back there if I am every in Munster again.

Review 80:I found it to be a fantastic hotel, small enough to be really comfortable, but large enough to take care of all my needs and wishes.

Review 81:Internet kept cutting out on 3rd floor, so had to work from stairwell on 2nd floor or in library. Restaurant a bit pricey.

Review 82:Location and signage from train station, clean and nice looking decor. Library and check in area especially nice. Elevator.

Review 83:Spotlessly clean,well-equipped family-run hotel in excellent location for main rail station/bus to airport and only 5 mins walk from city centre shops and cafes.

Review 84:Room was very small for €133 per night! Cost extra €17 for breakfast ontop of room rate. Use of sauna/jacuzzi cost extra, not included in roomrate. Free wifi but you needed to go back to reception to ask for this.Incredibly cheeky female staff member on checkout. My company hadalready called ahead with payment card details but she was adamant nopayment details had been sent and forced me to pay with my own creditcard. This on top of everything else completely soured my experience.

Review 85:Very clean and warm environment. Well laid out meeting rooms and verynice bar and restaurant areas.

Review 86:Beautiful atmosphere, very kind and accomodating staff. As an American, I appreciated having comfortable air conditioning I could control for very hot days.

Review 87:Everything - we have stayed there previously and experienced the samegreat welcome, comfort and care. We will always use it when we need ahotel in Munster.

Review 93:A very comfortable hotel with very helpful staff. Ideal location in City and very good facilities.

Review 94:Breakfast is expensive and not much choices for 17€

Review 95:Large spa area, clean and comfortable, closed to main station and city center

Review 96:Could not make a cup of tea/coffee in my room.

Review 97:Very friendly staff. Comfortable room.

Review 98:Walls were a little thin and the next room normal* noise was loud.* alarm clock, bathroom activity, drawers closing.
