Villa Florida is situated 650 feet from Caleta de Fuste beach in Fuerteventura. The Galician style apartments are
set within grounds and there is a separate adult and children´s pool.
Each apartment is equipped for three people with one double bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed. They all have a kitchen with an electric stove and fridge as well as a complete bathroom.
The Villa Florida apartments are 3 miles from the airport and 6 miles from the capital, Puerto del Rosario.
There is a sun terrace with lounge chairs and a pool side snack bar which is open from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. There is also a shopping center with various restaurants, cafes and mini-market.

Review 2：The staff on reception were fantastic. Very helpful in contacting the airport when Ryanair lost my luggage. The singer Gary is good craic too, if not the best singer in the world!

Review 14：the parking was an issue on arrival, our flight was a little late, took 20 minutes or so to park, check in closes at 8.00pm and we were a little late, other places in resort we have stayed before have better parking and a much later reception. this did not spoil our enjoyment overall.

Review 28：Rooms in a poor state, plug sockets not all working and some falling off the wall. Rooms need a major renovation. WiFi was a joke, worked the first two days and then was replaced with a log on facility which did not work. Sun chairs were booked the night before not only with one towel per chair but with one towel on four stacked chairs. Walls were paper thin and all conversations and moving of furniture was heard as if they were in the same room.

Review 37：Fully equipped kitchen was a bonus, nice pool, cleaners attend every day, clean towels every 2 days. Villa Florida is very quiet around the pool and ideal for older couples.. Nice wee singalong with Elvis and Jenny Sun, Tues and Thurs late afternoons, and no noisy guests keeping you up as it shuts down by 11pm. Plenty nightlife to keep you occupied till the wee small hours in the resort though! I recommend the Flower of Scotland bar about 200 yards up the road upstairs, always a friendly welcome!

Review 40：The only thing I would change is to get a double bed instead of 2 singles if a couple is staying. Wifi is not great and you can only get signal around the pool area, but I guess it's better than average anyway as for the price Villa Florida is one of the only ones that offer it.
Review 41：We stayed at Villa Florida for 4 nights. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very helpful receptionist. Staff in general was really nice and went the extra mile to help customers. The apartment was basic but really nice and clean. The pool is not huge but the pool area is really nice with plenty of sun beds. The beds were quite comfy, there was plenty of hot water with good preasure and also a nice sized terrace.

Review 102：We have just returned from the apartments which are a budget price but you get so much more ! Location was fantastic so central to bars and lovely restaurants. The apartments were very clean and the grounds were well maintained with lovely touches like water features and garden decorations. Beds were comfy and had a memory foam mattress and the shower was strong with lots of really hot water. There was a corkscrew in the kitchen and plenty of utensils and the fridge had a small freezer section. The balcony behind the pool gave good space and was in the sun all day. The maid cleaned the floors daily.and the pool although cold was great with a splash pool for small children. There were plenty of loungers and umbrellas if you wanted shade. We were allowed to keep the room till we left at 4pm for no extra charge but there was facilities to store luggage on your flight date even at full occupancy Were definitely going back

Review 108：Location: The nearby beach leaves a lot to be wished for. It is better to take a walk to the Atlantico shopping centre. The beach at the back of it is much more pleasant (El Cotillo and Cofete are the ones to go to!). Value for money: We decided for B&B option, which cost us €200 more for the breakfast. We had it in the Pool Bar and it was freshly made, however dull in the long run. You are better off spending your many on self-catering or breakfast in any of the nearby restaurants. And there are plenty. El Patio is recommendable with its tomato soup (!), and the Portuguese one is overrated and overpriced. Comfort and facilities: Villa is all stone and tiles, which get very slippery in the morning and pose a great danger to running children. The swimming pool was of no use at all. It is not heated and the water was freezing. And there is absolutely nothing for children to do around the villa. There is a playground in front of the hotel and there are many others in the area. Moreover, at this is something which I loved about Fuerta, no matter where you go, there is a playground (!). The island is really children friendly. As there is a very small water tank, hot water is used up quickly - there is enough for a shower but a long hot bath is not an option. Cleanliness: that's probably the biggest issue: The bottom line is: the apartment was dirty: cleaned every second day; towels stank - even the new ones, giving an impression of being swapped rather than washed, bed sheets were not changed for 10 days we stayed there; the shower curtain was mouldy. Comfort was largely reduced due to the lack of proper cleanliness.
Review 109：Location: First, it's a 5 min drive from the airport. Don't book a transfer. Taxi costs €12. Second, it's central location on the island really makes it ideal to explore it, if you think about renting a car (30-40 min drive to El Cotillo & Corralejo, 70min drive to Morro Jable). Value for money: unbeatable. €320 for a family of 3 for 10 nights, meals not included. Comfort and facilities: Naturally it depends on a person and if you are not fussy then you crack for the night and leave in the morning. There are, however, lots of apartments that get no sun at all, as Villa Florida is laid out as a maze of lanes, corridors and terraces. Our apartment was equipped with: LCD TV, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, fridge, hob, kettle. Other appliances may be rented at the reception. Staff: friendly and helpful. The reception staff speaks communicative English, while the pool bar staff speaks very little. Recommendation: if you stay at Villa Florida choose full self catering. If you plan to stay with your family and need entertainment for children, try some place else with heated pools and a piece of a lawn. Having explored the island, I would recommend El Cotillo or Morro Jable / Cofete.
Review 110：The only very little thing is that reception opening times are somehow restricted, which might be a problem on your day of departure if you have a late afternoon flight and wish to leave your luggage with them. You can't collect it from 1 to 4 pm.
