Reviews for Pension-Stadt-Baden
Review 1:The place was just fine....clean, modern, comfortable, had everything a traveler needs...plus, a great patio, and good breakfast..the owners did not speak English, but we managed to communitcate just fine.
Review 2:Sligtly unpleasent smell from the bath room, no every day cleaning in the room, landlady speaks german only, no wi-fi
Review 3:Unforgetable view from balcony, much space in the room and balcony, fully equipped kitchen, fire-place in the room, not many people around, forest nearby, perfect place for a traveller on a car
Review 4:The Pension is located a bit too far out of the village so we had to drive several kilometres to find somewhere to eat.
Review 5:Room was large and comfortable with balcony. Excellent breakfast and very helpful owner.
Review 6:Lack of explanation of self catering facilities. Nearby restaurant shut on a Monday evening. Bit of a trek to find the B and B. Out of the way from main tourist town.
Review 7:Good views from the room. Spacious apartment and balcony. Garage storage for our motorcycle.
Review 8:The staff was pleasant and accommodating. Even though they spoke no English, we were able to communicate. The view of the hillside behind the Pension was GORGEOUS! Nestled on a hillside outside Sasbachwalden, it was quiet and serene. May have been the best atmosphere on the whole trip.
Review 9:It rained all the time we were there!!!!!!
Review 10:Location in the hills, comfy bed, good facilities in village nearby. Very friendly, hospitable and trusting.
Review 11:Nice place in Schwarzwald to stay at! Easy to find, good parking facilities. Wonderful views around. Nice breakfast. Spacious and well designed rooms! And of course its lovely hosts!
Review 12:WiFi was either slow to the point of being unusable, or didn't work at all. Deal breaker. The entrance will be largely invisible at night - you need to walk up the stairs next to the sign and around the corner to right before the lights will turn on.
Review 13:Cool location in the mountains with a good view. Very large room.
Review 14:The home is in a high spot without an elevator with a lot of stairs. In the evening the accsess from the parking into the house is very dark in the stairs.
Review 15:Clean and tidy, home owners take care of the guests
Review 16:Not possible to pay with credit card- just cash. Floor in the room at 1 big spot was squeaky. Just hot water- too hot.
Review 17:The hosts were very kind. Location is uphill with a great view. Nice breakfast.
Review 18:Lovely owner very friendly, Good Breakfast, Spotlessly Clean, Free Parking, Didn't mind our late checkout, 2 minutes to the Vineyards and wine tasting! Recommend you go out at night and look at the Stars.
Review 19:We stayed for 2 nights. The arrangements were good. The couple managing it dont speak much english. They were nice and cordial. Our parents were with us, and they had difficulty in climbing the stairs. The approach to the house is narrow and steep. So it is fine for couples, children..but not for old people.
Review 20:We had difficulty locating the guest entrance, suggest a sign at the front of the house would help.
Review 21:Situation and views from balcony. Restaurant down the road, 'Gruene Baum' did brilliant flammkuchen on Wednesday nightclub and the views from the terrace were great.
Review 22:Poor communication over payment options. They only accepted cash, but my booking confirmation did not say this. This seemed to be more Booking.com's fault than theirs, but it did spoil things a bit as had to drive down to Sasbachwalden to get more cash.
Review 23:The location was just amazing, fabulous views, so quiet. The facilities were very good. The host was friendly and attentive.
Review 24:Internet connection was not available at apartment and poor in the other room.
Review 25:Our hostess was kind and helpful. She upgraded us to an appartment instead of a regular room because the hotel was fully booked. We could all spend the day together. Breakfast was plenty and delicious. There are two nearby restaurants where we had our dinner.
Review 26:No Wi-Fi in the apartment, only in the breakfast room. A little bit remote, but this is part of the package deal... No English-speakers at the pension. Would prefer lighter and healthier food. No microwave in the kitchen.
Review 27:In the midst of the woods, with a breath-taking view from the apartment, this is a real piece of heaven... We had a spacious apartment, very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Breakfast was pretty good (too heavy on cholesterol...). Of course, it's possible to eat "at home"...

Review 45:Nothing
Review 46:The owner was extremely nice and helped us as much as she could (we only speak a little German). Triple Rooms were huge and very clean. Breakfast was very nice. This hotel is a few kilometers up the hill from town, but the views nearby are spectacular and there are 2 restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.
