Review 1：Stayed there 10 days. Cleaning was under our expectation, personnel changed towels every day, but toilet and shower looked like were cleaned every 3-4 days :( Wifi was hard to connect, speed too low to check emails

Review 3：Advertised as 145€ a night, reduced by special discount to 75€, the room and bathroom were small, bed linen was dirty with what looked like nose dirt and hair, and woke during night with ants crawling over me in bed. TV was cheap and nasty, with only a few watchable channels.

Review 8：The location is a bit far if you want to go visit the rock (El Peñon de Ifach) - 5-7 min. by car. We were out for dinner at the promenade and when we were finding out way back to the hostal, we found out that there are no lights on the streets which we needed to use to get back. It was a full moon and we had a flashlight but we still could barely see - beware! It's safe though - no problems at all. There were some construction works going on - a lot of painting (and the accompanying smell)
Review 9：This hostal was more like a motel than a hotel. It's right by the national road and if you are just passing by and looking for a place to spend the night - its location is excellent. It's good for a walk to the beach, too. Right next to the hostal there are a couple of restaurants, by the road - a japanese place and some other venues - didn't try them but they were packed when we came back in the evening, so they must be good :) The accommodation was very basic but well worth the 30 eu we paid for a night. There are 4-5 parking spots to the side of the building - we didn't have a problem but i am not sure if there are enough spaces for everyone who is staying in the hotel. We didn't try the breakfast but we did try the coffee - it was good and cheap - 2 espresos for 2 eu.

Review 16：I was visiting my brother and his family. I live in Malaga and I drove up with my daughter for a few days. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast is very good value for money. I had forgotten a plug adapter and asked if they had one, they went and bought me one at no cost to me. I would definitely stay at La Paloma again.
Review 17：Looks like somone had a little trouble with their paint brush and rather than moving items has just painted with them institute. Broken parasols damaging my wrist when they collapse.

Review 42：Reseption smelled old fish. Walls like paper, road next to house. Very small room and bathroom. Only one key for room and gate, and you can't get in or out of the hostal without key! We left after one night. Breakfast white toast and cheapest muffin. Huoneessa ei sentään haissut vanha kala kuten respassa. Huoneen puhtaus oli ainoa hyvä puoli. Seinät ohuet kuin pahvia, onneksi talvella oli vain vähän liikennettä viereisellä tiellä. Aamupala halvinta valkoista leipää ja pullaa mitä marketista saa. Voi tämä silti sopia todelliselle budjettimatkaajalle. Me lähdimme yhden yön jälkeen.

Review 46：The breakfasts could definitely be improved. Everything was nice enough (although I found a couple of mouldy oranges in the fruit bowl) but there wasn't really enough of it. The 'tostadas' were two small slices of toast with a slice of ham and a slice of cheese - nice enough, but two of these would have been better. Then we got cakes, which were great for me as I like sweet things, but my partner was left a bit hungry at times. The coffee was excellent - make sure to ask for more if you want it!
Review 47：Unlike a lot of cheaper accommodation in Spain, the owners had taken a bit of time to think about how the rooms looked, and added modern looking features like matching throws and nice lighting fittings. The room was quite small, but we were only using it to sleep and shower, so it was absolutely perfect for us. The beds were very comfy and we slept really well. The area around the hostal is nice, with nice tiled flooring and lovely plants. We were there just after Christmas, and I imagine it's even nicer in the summer when the pool would be more appealing.

We were here in November so were the only guests, I think, but I imagine it would still be quiet in high season and would be cool.
Review 56：This is a very well-kept hostal. The small bedroom leads to a garden so it was very adequate for our 1 night stay. The breakfast was served in the garden too, and was good and fresh. Very good value for money.We travelled by car and was easy to find.

Review 70：Room stank of strong bleach upon entry The location is literally miles from the beach, and from the city centre. 45 mins walk into town. Unless you want to make walking along a busy road a part of your holiday don't stay here! There is a bus every 30 mins or so, but even that stops 10 mins short of the hotel and the last one leaves the city before 9pm.

Review 73：The location was excellent and staff friendly - bedroom clean with lovely hot water in bathroom. Good sunroof for relaxing with views. Will definately return and would recommend to anyone wanting a no-frills budget accommodation.

Review 75：A bit far out of Calpe, we had the car so was not a problem and so can't be a negative point against the accommodation.
Review 76：The room was spotless and very comfortable with an electric heater to take away the chill. Bed was comfortable and extra blankets/throws were available, you just had to ask. Only stayed two nights, and would not really want to stay much longer but that was mainly down to location and not that much to see in Calpe out of season. Breakfast was basic continental but more than adequate and freshly prepared. Would use again if in the area and would recommend for value and cleanliness.
