Review 8：The location was perfect just five to ten minutes walk from the most lovely beach with awesome views of the sea and cove. The greeting from Antonia when we first arrived was very friendly cheerful and helpful .She informed us that we had been upgraded to a junior sweet, Antonia arranged for our luggage to be taken to our room while she showed us around the hotel. All in all ,hotel was great ,room and facilities great, staff super friendly ,and the food we had was first class, It is definitely a five star hotel,with five star staff I would recommend it to any body especially if your looking for a chance to unwind in beautiful surroundings in peace and quiet. Will be going again.

Review 9：It is definitely not the worst happening that has ever happened in my life. Even at home, I sometimes snore which is not nice for my spouse. Usually, being at some hotel I ask the biggest pillow they have. I tried to do the same at Moraleja, however, there was no adequate reaction.

Review 11：I accept the rococo + neoclassical + every other strange style completely out of place for a hotel in Majorca, but I do not accept that Hotel La Morajela is rated 5 stars, like a Mandarin Oriental. It's a complete fraud. It's a private house made into a hotel with a horrendous taste, the staff were very nice but by very far not a 5 star service (no concierge service, no help with luggage, no evening room service to open beds, few staff in general and so on), the pool and common area is very limited, and breakfast cereal and fruit were prepared the night before in a common area in the way to the rooms, at everyone's sight and reach, covered with a cling film and making them stale for the next morning... It is just a 3 star hotel with a 5 star price. It is the biggest scam I've suffered in a hotel.

Rooms situated in second building and limited to about 27 rooms over 3 floors, which makes this a true boutique hotel. Splendid statues and painting throughout the hotel, exquisite artwork not usually available to enjoy at an hotel. Staff are very nice and have the personnel touch. Will stay again. Short walk to the beach. Peaceful pool area, with 2 pools set in lovely garden with some mountain views. Splendid private vintage car collection with the dream 1960s Mercedes, Morgan, E type Jaguar and RR and more. Breakfast was delicious inside or out. A place for quiet reading or to meet some interesting guests.

Review 51：The seaside pat of the village is quite run-down and the beaches limited, spoiled by huge shabby hotels that detract from the coastal scenery. Pool area a bit noisy from passing traffic.

Situated in a quiet Calla quiet but minutes from thebustle of The Port when you wanted it. The area has more localsstaying and living.We had the taster menu one evening at the hotel. All local produce and is up there with some Michelain resteraunts I've had the pleasure to eat in. Breakfasts were waiter and buffet service even the breakfasts were beautifully cooked and a dining experience. Staff were friendly, polite and attentive. Well worth the visit and value for money.

Review 63：One or two things need attention. The curtain was broken in our room. There were weeds between the flagstones by the pool and one of the loveliest statues had a broken neck.

Review 64：The hotel was delightfully quiet except for loud music played at breakfast. There was lovely artwork and furniture all around the hotel. The junior suites are large and also well furnished.

Review 66：From the minute we walked in to the hotel reception until we left we felt looked after, nothing was too much trouble. We had two beautiful junior suites filled with art and a feeling of grandeur with beautiful views. The breakfast on the terrace in the morning was a pleasure. Pool lovely no problem with beds! Staff super at all levels. We will return.

Review 67：Unfortunately it was let down by about half of the staff who seemed disinterested, were uncooperative and often 'forgot' that we had asked for drinks, or provide scant detail when we requested local info. That is not to say all of them were like this, a good number were perfectly nice, but it lacked the 5* level of attention you would expect. We spoke to a family who have stayed there for four years and were reassured that they had noticed it too, and it had never been like that before... Breakfast was pleasant, but coffee and juice were kept behind a counter and you often had to wait a long time to be offered any, or to catch someones attention. The food in the restaurant for lunch and dinner was exquisite, but incredibly expensive (€18 for a sandwich, €11.50 for a G&T etc) so we ate out locally a lot. The only issue was that the nicer places (mentioned above) were quite hidden down some obscure steps and it took us half our holiday before a regular holidaymaker told us they were there. It would have been nice if the hotel had been more forthcoming about local amenities, because other than this there isn't much else you can walk too, and they only told us about one very grotty cafe when we did query were we could go off-site. We had the Penthouse Suite, and whilst it was very nice, the air-conditioning barely worked (they sent technicians, but we were told that it never got that cool when the hotel was full - disappointing when it is 30 degrees outside and you've paid €400 a night!). The balcony would also benefit from some sun beds - it was spacious, but had some cheap plastic chairs and table only. All in all, we felt there was too much that failed to meet the standard we expected, but whether this was just a bad week I don't know. Other reviews and the number of repeat visitors staying there would suggest this is the case.

Review 68：The Boutique Moreleja has all the makings of a 5* hotel - it is a stunning building, full with fascinating art and beautiful furnishings, a gorgeous poolside area with lovely sunbeds, a fantastic restaurant with lovely outdoor eating area, and many other high-end features. Their is a beautiful beach at the foot of the hill, with 3 superb restaurants (FYI: booking ahead is recommended, and they don't serve much after 10pm) which I highly recommend.
