Review 1：The location is great. Right on the beach and in the middle of Cabarete. However we've ordered a room with balcony - and we got a Dark room under the roof. Breakfast is not included.

Review 2：I ordered a Superior Room and expected a room with the view of the sea. The balcony was a joke, it faced the building next door 3 Meters away. Below on the first floor was the kitchen of the employees. You could always hear the noise of whashing dishes and talk among people. No fun, when you like to sleep longer or at lunch time. The building with the reception is not reccommendable, alway thought these rooms were cheaper ... . All in all service in D. R. is lacking with high prices. Probably will not visit for a while.

Review 3：it was a little hard to find the reception desk, we turned and went back to the building that is on the water and that is not the building where the desk is located. then the signs were just not clear to help us find it. We asked at the "bar" by the beach and staff walked us to it. They were very helpful.

Review 4：Customer service from the receptionist was extremely disappointing, which set a bad tone to the beginning of the stay. Breakfast is not included and is over priced for the quality you get. Also do not order the grilled fish sandwich--no flavor at all.

Review 9：The staff were not flexible and not very helpful. They essentially would just hide a policy from you and then try to get money out of you after. It was pricey for what was included. Over 100$/night and no food/booze/entertainment/services included in an off peak travel time.

Review 24：Client service is inadequate to the grade the hotel positions itself; this relates as to hotel, as to the restaurant (examples: we booked a table in the restaurant but when came in a booked time, it was occupied; we asked for an early checkout at 6 am since their reception starts working from 7am and we were assured that there would be a staff to check us out, nevertheless nobody was at reception even at 6-30, only a security guy who said that he could not check us out, btw he did not speak English; another case was when our hotel passes were blocked by a receptionist to make us come at reception for some payment, instead of notifying by phone or in person when we passed by him. Staff definitely needs training in order to comply with a four star grade on the hotel sign and to the price they charge.

Review 33：The pillows were horrible, thin little things - had to ask for an additional pillow just so the two together felt like a normal pillow. The wireless internet signal was horrible, had to go outside on the balcony to a specific spot just to connect and even then, the signal came and went. Also, they advertise having parking but their parking consists of two little cramped spots near the lobby. When those were full and we asked where we could park, the desk clerk told us it was our own problem and to find parking wherever we could get it. Overall the place was nice but for what you pay, the hotel ought to be able to provide decent pillows, decent WiFi and some sort of overflow parking area, should it be needed. I think a refresher in customer service is also needed (customer service here was pretty good overall but the response regarding parking was frustrating).
