Review 1：There is no connection between booking.com and this hotel, which is probably the fault of the former. When we came in, the booking wasn't done, luckily there was plenty of rooms. No soap or shampoo etc in the room, you need to ask for it from reception. Otherwise rooms are large and the hotel is OK.

Review 2：We were given 2 single beds even though we requested a dbl bed. We were told they could not give us any other room but they were not fully booked for the week so they could have swapped us to another room.

Review 4：We were not reminded of the fact that in Spain is one hour later than in Portugal so we arrived at the hotel at 3 pm , spanish time, and lost one hour and we had to check out at noon, spanish time too; there was an event at the hotel pool that day and guests had to leave the pool at 6 p.m. best time to be there and enjoy.

Review 6：Not supplying a room with double bed when it was requested. The real hotel has a name sign different than Illunion (it's now Confortel). And you will need a car to reach the hotel and/or the city (or you will pay a lot for the Taxi).

Review 8：We arrived thirsty and hungry after a long 4 hour drive (14:00) to find no facilities for either food nor drink other than warm water in the minibar and the suggestion to go to a bar down the road for lunch. We arrived hungry again for an early dinner at 7:30 to find the restaurant didn't open until 8:30. Breakfast was poor! Coffee from a machine and 90% of the food was sugar filled cakes and pastries. The rest was limited. Not suitable for an overnight stay when travelling

Review 16：Air conditioning not sufficiently cool in the bedroom. Breakfast underwhelming. No fresh OJ and coffee out of a machine and poor choice of food. Taxi into town was 15 euros. Restaurant did not offer any food that looked enticing so we chose not to eat dinner there. Would suit families as a lot of pasta/pizza type food.

Review 24：They told us they are a environment friendly + energy saving hotel, but this means also that they don’t vacuum clean your room(s) (not once in 1½ week time) but only brush the crumbs etc. from the carpet with a little broom and therefore you’ll find e.g. many hairs from previous guests on the carpetted floors. Energy saving also means that the central airconditioning installation is turned of at 12am so it does not work during the whole night and it is turned on late in the afternoon, unless you ask for it to be turned on earlier in the day. This means that your room will never become cooler then 24˚C, which is too hot during the hot summer days in Badajoz.

Review 25：Good hotel to stay for holidays and also to come “home” to after a day of work, or just for a one night break during your trip from Spain to e.g. Lissabon/Lisboa. Great hotel to relax in and around the beautiful pool and gardens, bordering the Golf park so with beautiful views! Pool relax chairs have finally been replaced by new chairs, thanks management! Road signs that guides the new guests to the Confortel Golf Badajoz have also been installed all over Badajoz, so getting there has become very easy . We stay at this hotel every year for at least a week, also because especially the Junior Rooms have a separate big loungeroom and 1 or 2 huge balconies bordering the separate beautiful bedroom with big glass doors to enjoy the views. The bathrooms are big and beautiful too with marble floors and big vanity. Some hotel rooms have been redecorated with cool very modern furniture and cool modern colours and the carpet has been taken out of these rooms. But many guests prefer the current beautiful Spanish furniture with beautiful colour sceme and carpet, so please don’t redecorate all rooms in the cool, distant modern way because then this hotel will become exactly the same as other new hotels anywhere in Europe and will lose its Spanish identity and will probably also lose regular guests like us.

Review 55：There was a weeding at the hotel and the facilities were reduced becauseof it. Music was too loud and disturb clients. Next morning there wereany other event and have doing the coffe break in the pool, so theclients well disturbed. Breakfast is not worth for a 4 stars hotel androom is too loud. There is not variety and the juice are the worst.
