Review 1：It would be nice if it had a relaxing sofa or chairs. The sofa is the only comfortable item in the lounge, OK for 2 but not much good for more than 2 people. But everything else is wonderful.
Review 2：Location & view from the apartment, so close to everything we needed.
Review 3：If I have to find a negative it would be that the apartment was starting to get a bit tired. The light switch on one side of the bed didn't work, and the ceiling light in the lounge had dropped a bit and its wires were visible. Also the paint on the walls in places was marked, probably by suitcases. We did go at the end of August though, and we didn't report it. So if everyone didn't report it, then the hotel wouldn't know to repair it. Also there are only two lifts and we found we had to wait a while to get one on occasions, but hey.... We were on holiday, why rush!?
Review 4：Lovely modern apartments with self catering facilities. You have to collect the keys at the Esmeralda Hotel which is a short 2 or 3 minute walk away.Our 2 bedroom apartment had an en suite shower room, a separate small balcony with the washing machine and two clothes airer's. The main balcony was huge, with a table and four chairs and two sun loungers. It was lovely to lay on the sunbed looking out over Calpe and the beach. The kitchen had a hob and full size oven, a full size fridge freezer and plenty of cutlery, glasses and crockery, although it didn't have a kettle, which wasn't a problem as we just used a saucepan. I'm sure if we'd have asked they would have given us one. Also there wasn't any mugs just cups, and as we like a mug of tea we bought a couple of souvenir type mugs from one of the shops along the beach for 1 euro each. There is free WIFI in the apartment ( get the code from reception) which was adequate, albeit a bit hit and miss, we found the hall had the fastest speed! The air conditioning was also included in the price and it worked all the time, you didn't need to leave a key card to keep it going. The rooms are serviced 7 days after your arrival, with a change of bed linen and towels. You can pay extra to get them serviced more often, but we didn't bother. I just threw the towels in the washing machine once or twice just to freshen them up. Before we arrived, we emailed the hotel and requested a high up room....,, they gave us floor 20! The view was amazing, looking out over the beach and surrounding area of calpe and across la salinas to the old town. Beautiful!! The staff in the reception spoke excellent English and were very helpful, although always very busy, so you had to pick your time to go there if you had anything to ask. We wanted information about the local bus and tram service, they gave us maps and timetables and explained where we needed to get on and off. The bus fare is 1.
Review 5：Didn't have any bad experience but missed having an electric kettle in the flat. Also, couldn't find any instructions on how to use the washing machine!!!

Review 11：As it was a suite, the only provision was a small amount of toiletries, no dish cloths, and any item needed, had to be purchased in the local shops, regardless of how rarely used, but needed. All laundering, and cleaning was the responsibility of the holiday makers, so unless paying an additional cost, bedding and towels were not changed, and had to be washed with nowhere to dry such large items

Review 13：We reported that no kettle on site and the telephone was not operational. These were not corrected during our stay and also our key did not function twice at the end of our stay.

Review 15：being scared by the height, especially with small kids. The area is a bit ugly with all the high-rises. A dodgy bedside light that didn't work and buzzed. The absence of staff made it a bit impersonal.

Review 17：Nothing! Can't fault anything.We've been going to Calpe for about 20yrs (lived there for 12yrs) & still a great town. The apartment has everything you need.
Review 18：The location of the apartment is great. Our apartment was on the 22nd floor,with amazing views. Will be booking for next year!
Review 19：The main bed was a hard open coiled mattress, which was a little difficult to sleep comfortably on. The kitchen did not have a kettle or conventional oven. There was no plug for the bath. There was a fault with an electrical socket that should really have been repaired before we arrived.
Review 20：The air conditioning meant that we could have a more comfortable sleep in hot conditions, allowing the windows to be left shut, reducing noise and eliminating mosquito intrusion. The provision of clean linen each week. The swimming pools were not crowded and the rule preventing reservation of sunbeds meant that they were readily available. The provision of a washing machine, airer, ironing board and iron. Good quality freezer, although door shelves in fridge were broken.
