Review 1：From arriving at the Hotel until leaving, everything was perfect. The Hotel Proprieter who was hands on to the business was welcoming and helpful in every way. The Hotel has a very central location in a scenic town. The Hotel Parking facilities are very good with a secure underground Car Park on site. Good wifi which is important to me as a business traveller. The Hotel, previously the Town Fire Station has been developed to a high standard and is now a very nice Boutique Cafe Bar and Hotel. The Hotel Accomodation is modern with a bright and airy feel. The Bathroom was bright and had a good size and strength shower. Breakfast was a treat ! The Proprieter was on hand to personally lay out breakfast. The breakfast was a mix of Continental Style made up with Bread Rolls, Cheese and Meats from local sources. The Pate was fabulous. Additional items were available, with the Scrambled Egg being very tasty and made on request. The unintrusive and interesting discussion with the Hotel Propriter during breakfast was a pleasant experience. The Hotel is close to the River. There is a pleasant open air Wine Bar where you can sample the local Grape and watch the boats float past. Local Restaurants are also on the doorstep. Worth noting are the Weinstuber an easy 5 minute stroll and even closer, the Vietnamese Restaurant, Than et Luc. The food at Than et Luc was delicious and highly recommended. I had the Duck Stir Fry - Very Nice. This is a small Hotel with a special touch. There is no late Bar and no big chain facilities such as a Gym. What you do get is a great quality Accomodation, with a very nice atmosphere and special attention of the owner. If you are going to Eltville on business or pleasure, you will not go wrong by booking Das Spritzenhaus. Enjoy !

Review 2：The bed was extremely hard. No AC during a very hot spell - 35c+. Not very clear that there was not an evening restaurant.

Review 5：We stayed in Room 6 which was very spacious and comfortable. rooms have all you could need. Breakfast is very good too and it is a nice touch to have an explanation of where your food came from. There is parking right next to the hotel which you have to pay for through the hotel. We were allowed late check out since we were getting married which was appreciated. As with many German hotels the service is of high standard albeit somewhat impersonal, which is fine if that is what you like. Overall an excellent hotel in a perfect location.

Review 17：The location is fantastic and the service incredibly personalised and friendly. Our room (comfort extra #5) was spacious and well appointed. Restaurant recommendations were reliably great and let us sample the local cuisine from wine houses where no English was spoken to top class restaurants. We had a great time and would unreservedly recommend Das Spritzenhaus for a stay in the heart of beautiful Eltville.

Review 18：With the cold weather and steps (I had a problem foot) it was a little difficult getting from the accommodation to the dining/reception area as you had to go outside and then back in again.
