Reviews for "Die Sonnigen" - Hotel und Familienspaß
Review 1:Hard to find the hotel has it is called Gasthaus Sonne on site. No bar or lounge as it is a family room based hotel.

Review 3:Nothing.....
Review 4:We arrived after 11:30 PM and Angelica was there waiting for us. Took us to our room and made sure we were comfortable. Just a really nice place to spend some time. Great breakfast and wonderful accommodations.
Review 5:The staff where helpful, friendly and welcoming. Rooms were spotless clean and comfortable. Choice of buffet dinner which ran all evening or restaurant a La carte. Well supplied Kindergarten for youngsters. Lovely walks by stream and edge of property.
Review 6:Very friendly and cosy interior, the staff very friendly indeed.
Review 7:Great for families with kids and the staff was really nice. I would recommend this hotel any day.

Review 9:No sitting area/bar downstairs
Review 10:Very friendly and helpful
Review 11:everything
Review 12:Cheese at the dinner would have been great
Review 13:Breakfast was diverse and with a lot of local product
Review 14:This is everything a familiy-run hotel should be. Clean and confortable. Friendly, helpfull and happy staff.
Review 15:This hotel has one of the highest quality-to-prize ratios I ever experienced. Unfortunately, English is hardly spoken by the staff.
Review 16:Our family room was a little on the small side and there was no bar in the hotel to relax in in the afternoons/evenings.
Review 17:Child care facilities were great
Review 18:Together with my booking i sent a request to the Hotel to check about the childcare and they never answered me. So 2 days before our Holiday I decide to call them myself only to be told that childcare is only available for children from 3 years of Age (no where specified in the Website). Since my daughter was 2 years 9 months we could not avail ourselves of the childcare. Very disappointing!
Review 19:The Food both at Breakfast and Dinner was excellent.
Review 20:- Huge playroom and staff that genuinely like/accept the kids in the eating areas - hotel had a couple of spaces on the floors to sit with young children - especially if they wake up and you need to go outside the room at odd hours :-)
Review 21:The hotel is called "Sonne", and not Sonningen. Also, street n° is 66, not 56. All that confused me when looking for it on arrival. The desk was unmanned after 8.45, and before 8.00 am
Review 22:Everything, minus the minuses.
Review 23:Excellent service from the staff esp the owners. They served guests home made cookies which made us welcome. Highly recommended for families with children since it is very affordable.
Review 24:The staff was very friendly, there was a family atmosphere all around. Very clean and organized. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choices. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Review 25:No internet in individual rooms.
Review 26:The staff was incredibly hospitable, pleasant and efficient. (Especially desk receptionist Sabrina.) Facilities were super clean. The breakfast was fantastic. Check-in and check-out were efficient and the ability to purchase ski passes at the front desk was great.
Review 27:I assumed that since we had our stay reserved with them, we'd haveno problem reserving dinner in their restaurant. Apparently that'snot the case! I wish I would have known in advance that you need to makesure your spot is reserved for dinner, regardless if you are stayingthere or not - or you most likely won't get a spot for dinner. Iwould have appreciated knowing that in advance. They did go out of theirway and reserve a dinner reservation in another restaurant for us, andit was fantastic. It all worked out in the end.
Review 28:We were looking for a small town feel in the middle of mountains andsnow. Not only did we get that, but a family oriented one!!! This placefar surpassed our expectations and I could not be more thrilled!!! Theyare German speaking and we are English speaking, but they were superhelpful in translating for us, booking things for us, and recommendingthings for us to do. Everything they referred us to was amazing! We rodea sleigh through snowy fields and through the forest (which they bookedfor us). It was amazing. They booked our New Year's Eve dinnerreservations for us. Almost every restaurant was full so they took thetime to find an opening and reserve dinner for us. The restaurant,Katrina, served what was probably the best food I've eaten in a verylong time. The events that the hotel planned for New Years were verythought out and added just that special touch to finish up our travels. The kids had their own special "parties" in the playroom, andin the hotel restaurant for breakfast they even had their own placemats, fun napkins, and coloring paper/crayons, highchairs, etc. Youcan tell these people really put their heart and soul into their familyrun business. Love this place and will definitely be going back!
Review 29:Just a little friendlier front desk representative.
Review 30:It was our first time to be in a Kinderhotel and we truly enjoyed the service they offer. Our 6 year old enjoyed the facilities and activities they have planned for the day, especially allowing the parents to have quiet time and chat while our boy was in the play room.
Review 31:the room size - measured myself - ca 11 sqm for 2 beds and A bathroom. pathetic! It would be modest for a single room, absolutely cannot be used for two people and still call it a 4 star!!!!
Review 32:Great breakfast, really a very friendly place for the children, could be a nice place if not squeezed in a micro-room!
Review 33:My friend and I enjoyed our one-night stay immensely. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean, the staff extremely eager to please and welcoming. Dinner was excellent, breakfast even better with the choice of home-made jams. All in all a most pleasurable stay, and we shall probably return again next year if we return for the Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg, which we most probably shall. Please extend our thanks to the hotel owners and their staff.
Review 34:Very childfriendly hotel, good and friendly service of the staff. Great for families with (small) children, they loved the children buffet. Located in a nice small village with lots of possibilities for children in winter and summer time. Three minor things for improvement; Better pillows to sleep on. A better distribution system of hot water as you might have a cold shower when it is "rush hour". Better channel reception for TV in room
Review 35:Friendliness of staff was excellent and food was good, superb salad bar and children's buffet were very good.
Review 36:Great breakfast Free underground parking Good location
Review 37:Very friendly employees, great breakfast and dinner.
Review 38:Extremely clean Friendly staff
Review 39:P's beautiful place.
