Review 1：Don't visit in mid October - the village is closed. The rooms are too gothic/gloomy for my taste. There is no bar or place for residents to sit other than in their room.

Review 3：Our room was small and had a big beam at shoulder height right across the middle, which one does not really expect in this price range. And the wifi was a bit erratic.

Review 7：Location is out of the way. 5 km from Eltville and there is nothing in Hattenheim. We did find the wine tasting hut by the lake which was a saviour!!! Little bit tired. Could do with a freshen up No lift No air con so very hot. You have to have the windows open and I got bitten to pieces by the mosquitoes!!
