Review 1：In the evening no open restaurants in the close walking distance, you have to walk at least 800m-1km to the centre of Speyer.

Review 2：A lot of free parking spaces, even for caravans.

Review 3：there is no a/c and not even the offer of a fan to cool your room. Given the normal summer highs in the area, it is bizarre that guests are subjected to such conditions. The receptionist staff not really welcoming and the bar had no proper supply of ice, so we did without the G&Ts. The whole place retains its army barracks feel.

Review 4：Breakfast good value and choice. It is convenient for the Teknik Museum.

Review 5：The Hotel is located just across the car park from the Speyer Technical Museum. With its 40 meter high Luftansaa Jumbo jet this is one of the best science and engineering museums I have ever been to! The Hotel was also only about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town.

Review 6：It was very hot - we had a room on 2nd floor under the roof. No a/c! Missing lift - so many stairs! On arrival day lady at the reception wasn´t very friendly, but the man in the morning next day was professional.

Review 24：The room was not very spatious (our room also had a slanted ceiling under roof), and two beds cannot be shoved together, but the layout of the room did have its own simple, 'technical' charm. The location and the breakfast somewhat compensated for the price.

Review 29：This is our third or fourth visit to the Museum technik, and we love it, also the museum at Sinsheim. Great for the family and adults alike. The rooms are comfortable and clean and breakfast is fine. The City is very close, and the Rhein just around the corner.

Review 30：No lift in our building (don't know about others) so if you have mobility issues request ground floor. No airconditioning, so window was open all the time (fabulous) but when a loud camper played music behind the building for apparently ever, security had to go down and request that they turn it down so we could sleep on a 32.C night (less fabulous). I think the insulation in the room might be sufficient to just get ceiling fans in, but I don't know about the height of the ceilings on the ground and first floor. Wished for tea and coffee facilities and a mini fridge in the room.

Review 31：Location, museum, proximity to Hockenheimring was brilliant (catch the 717 bus from Domplatz to get to Hockenheim for the F1. €4 bus fare vs a €35 cab fare.) Would happily stay there again.

Review 32：The rooms we had were extremely hot at all times during our stay. There are laws about leaving animals in hot cars but it seems it's ok to put people in rooms with NO air conditioning and 34 degs outside. Extremely unpleasant to spend any time in the room. No interest shown by management.....even a basic fan would have helped but sadly nothing doing. Also VERY restricted wi-fi ( though free ),come on this is 2014, it would be better to make a small charge for wi-fi than offer something that won't even connect to YouTube !!!

Review 35：Good positioning for a day in the museum, park the car and no need to worry about it for the rest of the day. Rooms excellent, comfortable and wifi good. Cafe on site for mid day meal but no on site restaurant for evening - but walk back to the main road, go under the flyover, turn right and there is an excellent beergarten with good food and beer. Couldn't fault this for value.

Considering the cost of the roomand the tired appearance of the room and minimal facilities, the cost ofthe room seems rather overpriced.

Review 75：Nothing really. However as we were returning we asked in January when we booked for our stay in May if we could have the same room as we found the room comfortable, quiet and large (comfort room). We were advised yes through an email which was great, we did however have to cut our stay short by one day, but advised hotel directly of this after changing our booking and again hoped to get same room, I was advised this would be passed onto staff at the hotel by Jaqueline Schwab who was not at the hotel at the time. So we did not worry, but when we arrived we discovered that the room had been given to someone else that morning, so we were disappointed to say the least - we were offered another which was not suitable, but we did end up with a nice room above reception. It was just a let down after us looking forward to our stay here all our holiday.

Review 76：We have stayed before as we find the location excellent with free parking. Close to the river Rhein and just a short walk into town and a stone's throw from the museum. Rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast is the usual choice, but good enough. You can get discount for entry into the Speyer and Sinsheim transport museums if you ask at reception. Would be our choice again if we return.

We moved the direction of the cot so the baby is not sleeping right next to the window and we ended up having to climb over the bed each time we wanted to reach the other side of the room! Facility in the room is extremely basic, especially the bathroom. The bathroom is only as good as those for backpackers. There is no space for my small toiletry bag. The shower doesn't even has a door (only a small piece of thin curtain!) The staff who's doing the cleaning also not very professional, busy chatting with each other not really doing much cleaning. No minibar, no kettle.
