Review 1：I loved my room. It felt like home..really cosy and comfortable even though it was a hotel. I LOVE the foyer and it was a real treat to sit there for a few hours, in peace and tranquility with hot cups of tea!

Review 3：Having asked for upper floor with a sea view,the hotel kindly granted me my wish,view lovely and room ideal. As for the spa,best one IV ever been too in my life,different class.

Review 4：Nothing available of an evening, bar closed early, seemed there was a piano bar but no piano. Out of season nothing to do, had to use sister hotel for drinks.

Review 8：Not a bad experience but the bacon at breakfast is more than 50% fat, half cooked, swimming in fat. It has to be well done to crispy to reduce fat content when using this cut of bacon. Bacon of course popular in an English breakfast in UK but never ever is it this cut, I think its Streaky .

Review 9：Beautiful hotel, squeaky clean, close to the beach, close to bus stops, supermarkets, amazing choice of food, receptionists helpful, especially Alice.

Review 10：shower didn't work on sunday morning, which also meant no coffee at breakfast, as we were on a tight schedule we had a bad start to the day because of a burst pipe. Although this was fixed later we had already left the Hotel as we had commitments, monday morning was fine.

Review 12：The staff are hard work and need to lighten up a bit, the spar wanted 20 euros an hour and was empty, in top spas in Austria we pay 40 euros all day. The evening bar is very poor and was like rubbish school disco in a big empty hall. If you are room only then you can not buy a cup of coffee before 10am and there was no tea coffee facilities in the room.

Review 14：The restaurant is like a school canteen people and trollies everywhere with dirty plates.The food most often cold.Hash browns in morning still frozen.Not relaxing to stay any longer than to eat food and go.Not a four star eating place.Had to check glasses and plates and cutlery as often dirty not washed properly.Pool area no way big enough for size of hotel.Staff couldn't wait to clear table made you feel very uneasy all rush rush.

Review 16：We had a slight disappointment on arrival as we had asked for adjoining rooms and for them to be facing the mountains to get the afternoon sun. Unfortunately the hotel did not have a note of our request and we had been allocated rooms on different floors. The reception staff were helpful and did change this so the rooms were on the same floor but they were not adjoining and they were on the other side of the hotel.

Minibar was not stocked, even for bottled water, in spite of many requests. There always used to be a complimentary bottle of cava in the room on arrival. Evening meal main courses were not served fresh or hot. This has been a consistent problem with this hotel on previous visits.

There are 2 supermarkets next to the hotel - very handy! You did not have very much variety in the restaurant but everything that was there was of very high quality. We are not big eaters so it was perfect for us. Very friendly animation staff! We will definitely go back next year. Thanks! :-)

Review 91：Halfway through the holiday a salsa dance tour arrived and basically took over the hotel and if salsa is not your thing it could spoil other peoples holidays. There needs to be more segregation as all that was blasted out day and night was salsa music.

Review 93：Unfortunately there was a dance group from the UK staying at the Hotel and everyday from 11 - 13.30 and then from 15.30 - 17.00 their music would "Blare Out" across the pool area and they would dance. Considering there are sufficient rooms around the Hotel to accommodate Dance Groups of this type - I felt it unfair on other guests to have to endure or leave (as we did) the area. Suggest anyone checks with the Hotel that they don't have such a group before booking

Review 94：The Reception was spacious and user friendly and the Staff extremely courteous, respectful and helpful. WiFi worked extremely well, and Bars - although not cheap by Spanish bar standards were not over priced. Beds and bedroom were spacious and comfortable and as I only live approximately 10 Kim's from the Hotel, would recommend it to anyone looking for a Break or Short Stay - Spa was above average for the area.

Review 95：Each morning we arrived for breakfast around 9am and the staff were trying to clear the breakfast and set up for lunch instead of looking after the guests having breakfast which was scheduled to continue till 10:30am. We constantly had to request the staff to set our table and replenish empty or half full trays of food! The coffe throughout the hotel was appalling. One of the reasons for booking this hotel was the fact that you stated that the hotel provided entertainment, especially for children - there was none leaving our grandchildren without anything to do in the evenings. This failure should be actioned upon and if necessary some form of compensation made. The bar and drinks area closed very early at night leaving the hotel with no facilities to acquire a drink! The television reception was appalling! All in all my wife and I and family travel to Calpe two or three times a year and we had thought by using the Diamanté facility it would be something that we could do in the future. However after this experience we will never stay there again and revert back to booking apartments and villas through the various websites and travel companies - A massive disappointment from the whole family!!!
