Reviews for Hotel Rural 3 Punts
Review 1:Breakfast was not so great: coffee standing in a big pot, milk seemed a bit off. Cold boiled eggs. Why not use the real coffee machine on the bar? Caimari has not much to offer, but Selva is pretty close.
Review 2:The room was very spacious and well decorated and complete. The private terrace with two seats and a table was fantastic. Staff is very friendly.
Review 3:Breakfast pretty basic, and you need cash for an evening meal ( run separately!). Nobody speaks English.
Review 4:Friendly staff, comfortable though cold room. Rustic charm
Review 5:The restaurant is somewhat overpriced for local standards and moreover, they charged us for items that were not on the menu. The breakfast was also not adequate to the price paid.
Review 6:Well renovated old house, plenty of room, nice atmosphere and a massage bath.
Review 7:Parking was a little difficult but not a big deal really
Review 8:Friendly & personable service - they really look after you and they are up for a nice chat! Nice & spacious room Stylish terrace with a small pool Relaxed vibe Good access to the north/ north east of the island (this is the nicest part) Amazing restaurant just across the street (it's called Ca Na Toneta) Caimari is a non touristy village where people go about lives without trying to sell you things
Review 9:Accommodation excellent , comfortable , spacious , tastefully modern . Could not be faulted . View from patio of mountains beautiful.
Review 10:Poor breakfast, very small pool which even did not work, not much friendly stuff.
Review 11:Nice spacious rooms, very comfortable bed.
Review 12:Poor breakfast, swimmingpool approx 3x3m and at restaurant terrace without sunbeds
Review 13:Nice and clean room, comfortable bed
Review 14:Very pleasant room Good evening meal and cooked breakfast
Review 15:nothing
Review 16:everything
Review 17:The telephone shower had no wall mounting, so standing shower not possible - could be easily provided along with screen Parking at a premium in the village and good spatial awareness necessary as tight negotiation of narrow streets and parked cars!
Review 18:The quiet location, the standard of the rooms, the helpfulness of Maria and Pasquale to make our stay memorable, the breakfast choice with fresh fruit every day, the dinners cooked by Pasquale and the ambiance of the mid village setting. Perfect base to use for our walking holiday. We were two couples and we were given a larger table for our use throughout our stay.
Review 19:We only booked for 4 nights :(
Review 20:Everything! The patron was the best host & chef. We would strongly recommend to enjoy dinner here! Fresh ingredients from the market and cooked by the owner himself.
Review 21:Nothing at all!
Review 22:We liked the enormous hospitality of Maria and Pasquale. We didn't think to get a room as beautiful as it was for the price paid, breakfast was nice, dining was also good. The hotel is centrally located in Caimari, which itself is perfect located for both visiting the tramuntana mountains as the rest of the islands highlights. And if your a cyclist, it can't be closer to the climb to Lluc.
Review 23:the room was a little dark.
Review 24:the room was very spacious, the huge bed was very comfortable, batheoom big. good breakfast, nice dinner in the restaurant. very friendly and polite staff!!!
Review 25:When we arrived at Caimari on Saturday evening, having booked for 7 days, we found the village en fete and all roads leading to the hotel barricaded off by the police until monday morning. The Police directed us to car parking at least a mile from the hotel which was impractical with our luggage so at short notice we were forced to find (and pay for!) other accommodation for two nights. Also the hotel still charged us for 7 nights when, in the circumstances we felt in principle they should have waived the charge for the two nights or at least have warned us what to expect. (Even so all things considered the cost of the room was still very modest). At first glance the dinner menu was interesting but in the event it obviously came out of the freezer and in fact proved to be more expensive than dining at the top restaurants in Inca.
Review 26:The buildings - apparently 2 or more cottages originally - are genuinely old but have been sympathetically renovated whilst the bedrooms have been stylishly furnished. Our room was v. comfortable. Throughout the whole of stay the only staff on duty (except for the chef when present) appeared to be one of two maid of all works - perhaps not surprising as for the most part we were the only guests. But both were very friendly and helpful at all times.
Review 27:We asked for a room with a balcony/terrace but we did not get one. So instead of that we wanted to sit in hotel's public terrace in the backyard but suprisingly we were not allowed to if we are not customers of the hotel's restaurant. In addition, we got a room with a window just next to restaurant's backyard terrace so we lacked silence and privacy because window was just 1 meter from the table in the terrace. Breakfast were ordinary and according to room price we expected more. Car parking might be an issue during peak season.
Review 28:Nice, quiet and cozy hotel in the village with Tramuntana mountains nearby. Location is just great. Hotel is in center of the nice village so you can walk around. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.
Review 29:We liked the total atmosphere very much. Details in the building, the yard and the rooms are really 'cared for'. The hotel is situated in an area with very few tourists, which makes the visit uknique. The receptionist was friendly and the food was a good experience..
Review 30:The breakfast composed of low cost industrial products from the nearby mini market. Small detail: the shower gel bottles were not renewed every day, so we had to pay attention in order to have some for every shower.
Review 31:Beautiful village, comfortable large room, the quietness and the surrounding landscape.
Review 32:Very poor breakfast, lack of personnel, no own parking place, swimming pool small and during our stay there not even once did we see the cleaning system functioning(!!!). At the end while we had priorly asked and been approved for a late checkout, the last day they announced us that it was not possible to depart later than normal!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review 33:The design of the room, its furniture , its balcony.
Review 34:The breakfast is fairly basic but it does the job.
Review 35:Nicely styled and cozy hotel rooms. The rooms are very spacious and free wifi is great. The best value hotel room we found on our road trip in Mallorca.
Review 36:There really are no negatives with this place. Parking is a bit awkward pales into insignificance with the feel of the place.
Review 37:They say the best gems are hard to find and this is true with the Three Punts. The service we received was excellent from the minute we checked in to leaving. The room was charming and delightful and the food was lovely. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anybody who wants to experience traditional Spanish hospitality...........Excellent !!
Review 38:The only thing that we didn`t like at all was the breakfast. You don`thave many options, for the rest everything was perfect!
Review 39:The hotel was a very nice place, specially the staff, what a nicepeople. Miguel is the guy who is most of the time in the hotel, he isvery friendely and can help you with a lot of information about theplace and other things. Lola is the cook of the hotel, we ate there twotimes, she has magic hands. The food was very delicious.
Review 40:The pool was too small, almost a tub rather than a pool. Couldn't work the hydro massage bath and a pain not having a proper shower.
Review 41:Good location.
Review 42:Well situated in unspoilt quiet village with good access to local countryside and attactions. Particularly well sited for those interested in mountains/mountain biking, road biking as is right next to start of spectacular mountain road
Review 43:The staff were miserable, although i think this was as a result of working too long hours. The ambiance of the "restaurant" not quite right, difficult balance with local people treating it like a cafe, but also having a good quality chef serving really really good food. i suggest some kind of division between "cafe" area and "dinning" area (maybe a screen).
Review 44:Location, decoration, the owners welcome
Review 45:Seemed slightly disorganised and understaffed - when we arrived there was only one person running both the hotel and the bar/restaurant. Check-in is supposed to be from 1pm, but we arrived after that and our room still hadn't been cleaned. They told us to come back at 2pm, so we did and it still "wasn't quite ready". Also, no water in the pool as apparently the pump needed to be fixed. We were only there for one night, but would have been more of an issue if you were staying longer and planned on sunbathing by the pool (not too much else to do after you've hiked up to Lluc). They didn't apologise or even mention it until we raised it directly, but then when we did, we got a couple of free beers as a result so that was good enough for me :)
Review 46:Very stylish, clean and comfortable room, with a huge double bed rather than the two singles you often end up with in Spain even after requesting a double. We were very impressed with the room for the price we paid. Attractive building and pool terrace (aside from lack of water in the pool). Simple but decent breakfast included in price.
Review 47:A bit out of the way and treacherous mountain roads to get there but sobeautiful it was worth it. Staff very friendly and courteous and thehotel really charming and comfortable! A real find for someone lookingfor an excellent stay away from the maddening crowd.
Review 48:Room was rather cold and we had to have air-con all the time. Too cold to use the jacuzzi because the bathroom had no heating except the air-con from the bedroom.
Review 49:Very comfortable room. Bed very comfortable and breakfast good. The chef prepared us delicious food each evening. The taster menu for my husband's birthday was superb.
Review 50:not enough to do in town
