Reviews for Hostal Coruña
Review 1:Reasonably priced place to spend the night in a private room. I was walking the Camino and after spending many nights in dorms decided to have a rest in a hostel. Frankly, was so tired that hardly remember anything about the accommodation. :-)
Review 2:Staff went out of their way to be helpful and to make this a good stay. It was quiet, clean and the room had nice extra touches- candies, Kleenex, toiletries. Good wifi and close to Camino route on the way out of town.
Review 3:1.NOT pilgrim friendly!! Big note that guests are charged $$ if do laundry in room. 2.We arrived early, put in a room with window onto ventilator shaft. NO view! 3.WiFi barely usable!! 4.Manager browbeats staff & hard to deal with.
Review 4:It is a place to stay in a crowded, and not very friendly city.
Review 5:Location was not as stated. We were overcharged for the room, 6.40 over booked price and again for breakfast. I would not stay again or recommend to anyone.
Review 6:Nice bathroom.
Review 7:Ten minutes walk to the town center, but dark and empty street on the way back after dinner.
Review 8:Road side hotel by easy access. Parking is OK anywhere around.
Review 9:The room had a bath, but a shower cubicle had been built over it, and once in the bath, it's almost impossible to get out!
Review 10:Nice receptionist who spoke English. Easy walk into centre of Astorga.
Review 11:The room was very small. There was not much room to move around or to pack/unpack clothes. Also, the walls were very thin and we could hear the people in room next to us.
Review 12:We liked the location. It was close to the cathedral and close to the bus stop. It was also close to the Camino de Santiago.
Review 13:I have been bitten by bedbugs in the past, and it looked and felt just like this... Owners: please investigate this! Not all people react to bedbug bites, and you should call an exterminator to confirm.
Review 14:No view from our room, however our children had a view from their window.
Review 15:Receptionist speaks excellent english and is very helpful. Quite reasonable value overall.
Review 16:Lousy night's sleep due to neighbours non stop chatter and paper thin wall...very noisy!
Review 17:The room was fine and had all the amenities needed and lunch menu was good
Review 18:Location was past the center of town and on the very far west corner of town. Too far away from tourist areas. Dinner was ok, but not great.
Review 19:Great laundry service, cleanliness and nice staff.
Review 20:Staff were uninterested. Room was tiny, the door hit in the wardrobe when we opened it. Remote from the centre of town Pillow was lumpy and awful.
Review 21:It was on the Camino route.

Review 57:The price was good, good wifi, clean. No serious problems.
Review 58:The Coruña had the last rooms in the town for our night and I wasn't so sure about it. Turned out to be quite alright. The woman overseeing things did us a very kind turn with the charges. Much appreciated.
