Review 1：I was given an apartment with a sea view when I had booked a room.without a view. This sounds very good but unfortunately the apartment was old and in need of renovation.

Review 3：We didnt like the food the water was strange and when we ask for something in a bottle they didnt have it and even a mojito they could not make a nice one.

Review 5：Reception was very small for the size of the Hotel, we had to wait for over an hour to check-in, then we where told the room was not ready, even though it was 3pm by this time 1 hour later than the advised check in time and would not be ready for 2 hours...Also the food was awlful and the volume of clients in the dinning room, morning and evening made the whole dinning experience very uncomfortable and distressing, if you left your table to select your food, it would be taken immediatly, there was not enough space in the dinning room for the volume of clients.. All together the whole experince in this Hotel was very unpleasent and we would not recommend it and will certainly not be returning

Review 7：The hotel was very tired looking and rooms although very clean were shabby. WIFI was very expensive as was the room safe which should be free. TV was old and didn't work properly. Most programmes were in German or dubbed over in German. There wasn't one English speaking programme not even a news channel! Food I would say was good but very bland and monotonous Entertainment was only fair and again aimed mostly at German Speaking guests.There were only two very good evening's entertaninment in the fortnight we were there. I would have loved a nice cup of tea and the machines they had there didn't produce good coffee or tea.

Review 8：It's in a good location. The staff were polite and helpful. The view was amazing. The room was kept very clean.

Review 9：The staff treated my sister who arrived earlier really poorly: they would not let her in into the room unless she paid the full price of the stay we've booked (a week) - she did not have enough money on her. Her arguments that it will be me paying when arriving later and that they had her passport did not help. She even offered to pay for just one night stay which did not help either. So she had to stay there in the lobby for nearly 9 (!) hours untill I arrived and staff did not care at all. Otherwise food choice was quite limited, both for breakfast and dinner, the room was very cold so we had to sleep fully dressed, and the property was not particularly clean either. Overall would not recommend to anyone. In the end I paid the full stay when we arrived and we left the next morning (they refunded the rest) for a much better Elba Carlotta hotel (same price). Very stupid policy - they've lost a week stay over NY over their treatment of clients!

Review 12：Location- worth paying extra for sea view. Our first time using all inclusive service and we were pleasantly suprised at quality, choice and value of all meals.

Review 13：In two days you see how bulky the AI concept is. Air condition in my room did not work properly. The TV did not work (I didn't mind). But as I said before, with the price I paid, I'm happy.

Review 14：I had a very good offer, and because of some mix up with my reservation, I also got an all inclusive service instead of half board. So I really have nothing to complain. Had I payed the full price, I would be more critical. The staff was helpful, in the bar almost manically friendly. Nice pool area. The hotel is very spacious, and the view is nice. The area is German oriented, but I had no problems with English either.

Review 15：We travel whit our father 90 years in a wheelchair, he cannot walk. In the description is the hotel accesible for wheelchair. On arrivel we get a room whit a shower in the bath. Thats no option for our father. We get a other room, its the same room only the bath is 5 cm lower. And a other door in the bathroom. The room and bathroom is very little, so we have trouble with the wheelchair to acces everything. No warm water shower in the hole complex to shower my father and we must use the toilet in the reception. The complex has lot of ramps but i can not manage the wheelchair alone on the ramps. There is a elevator but only the wheelchair fit in this so we put the wheelchair in the elevator push the buton and we run up and down tho get the wheelchair out on arrivel. It is really a shame they say its accesible for disabled. The hotel is old and tired. The rooms are old and don`t look fresh. The food is ok if you like fish. The pools are very cold. The location is nice with the shops and beach nearby. Expensive wifi.

Review 17：Not so close to the beach. Also staff were not able to write an exact bus number from the Airport to the Hotel. I've asked them 3 times and their response was only "We don't offer transfer".

Review 19：The interior of the resort, decor and rooms etc was very dated. The food was not great, TBH it's what you expect from a Half board deal, lot of mass made buffet food.

Review 20：Location was great, rooms were a good size, beach was a short stroll away. Staff were friendly enough and as we arrived late after the kitchens had she they even arranged a plate of cold foods for us.

Review 22：There is not enough car parking space for the amount of people staying there. The gym is very old and dated. Most of the equipment is not working properly. Takes a long time to checkin or checkout. Tends to have a queue to speak to someone at reception.

Review 44：SBH is an old 4 star hotel. Old is a main word. Lobby is situated far away from the main road and it is not evident how to get there. Besides I had to climb to the top of the hill to get inside the main door, because the back door was closed. The staff was kind but absolutely useless in cases which were not straightly connected with the hotel. Breakfasts and dinners were all very monotonous.

Review 45：The hotel allows smoking on the pool terrace and as a non-smoker thisinterfered with my enjoyment of the pool area and I tended to avoid it.The beach was a quite a trek (more than half a mile) away from the hotel.

Review 46：Staff, helpful, very efficient and friendly. The restaurant was verywell managed and the food was of a very good standard.

Review 47：No Wifi in bedrooms + you need to pay extra for it. To access the hotel you have to take a taxi as it is on a little hill and going there on foot with luggage can be a bit of nerve taking.

Review 51：The hotel within itself is not the most accessible, there were a lot ofstairs to get from the entry to the reception to your room. 99% of thestaff spoke extremely little English which actually is quite a hindranceto wanting to ask anything about the hotel or the town etc. Thefacilities in the hotel were also v mediocre at most.
