Review 1：The main thing that let this property down was the cleanliness. The apartment could do with a thorough clean - doors, bathroom mirror and furniture need a good wipe. We had a short term stay (3 days) and there was no detergent and sponges to wash up in kitchen and no cork screw for bottles. It was annoying to have to buy these type of items for just 3 days. Obviously it is an apartment but it would just be a small convenience for short term stays.
Review 2：Great location - right in front of the beach, lots of restaurants, coffee shops and bars along the promenade. Supermarkets also within walking distance. Apartment layout was great with beautiful views! Good size balcony with great winter sun all day.

Review 5：We booked sea view but there is no real sea view from apartment (Ap No 42 B) block No 4,we arrived at 29.07.2015 and the receptionist lady was very sour and unhelpful,we paid apartment for 3 adults and they gave us two wifi passwords (just for 2 devices) for 3 personae ,one of us couldn't use wifi at all ,it's not fair.

Review 7：5 women thought i booked 2 twin rioms & a double. Arrived to 2 double, a singke with a pull out. Spoke to office and they bought a single bed for the front room, very apologetic. Couldn't move rooms due to height of season but can't fault the staff for rectifying problem quickly. NO wifi at all password and username didn't work. No dvd player so if you have kids keeping them occupied may be an issue. Every restaurant meal served with chips!
Review 8：Fantastic location beachfront, lucky to have front balcony with sea views. Apartment simple but big enough. Mercadona round the corner so cheap food, drinks for meals in. Pool area small but fine added bonus of the beach. Washing machine, oven, kettle, iron, big fridge freezer, air conditioning. Anne in the office extremely helpful and friendly. Broken door handle, lighbulb fixed straight away. Quiet holiday not really any british. Excellent disabled access on beach with mobile hoists, adapted pedalos etc. Very safe and secure building. Didn't want to come home!

Review 10：Proximity to everything. 1 min. from beach, parasols and sunbeds. Beach lovely and sea great for swimming. 1 min. from promenade and lovely walks. 5 mins from mini supermarket and less than 10 mins from 2 very large supermarkets that stock everything including everything you might need for the beach e.g. loungers, chairs etc.. Very close to some nice hotels. Supervision on beach fantastic with lifeguards etc..Police with high visibility clothing discreetly on promenade. Whole beach and promenade area pedestrianized. The local council cleaned the beach each morning from 7.00 am removing washed up seaweed and sieving the sand with special machinery. The facilities are a credit to them. Excellent security at Apts. Bed very comfortable. Great big veranda with sunbed and full sized table and chairs. Well equipped apartment. Would definitely stay here again.
Review 11：Getting the keys was an ordeal as the office is not near to the hotel and shuts at 2pm on a Saturday. We arrived approx 8pm. We eventually got the keys after a couple of phone calls but beware if you are arriving at the weekend as the office is also shut all day Sunday. We also never got to grips with the air con which seemed to work when it felt like it which mostly seemed to be when we were out. There were no instructions despite asking at the office.

Review 19：Nothing really to dislike in an off-season beach escape--just remember with apartments to bring your own detergent and soaps, toilet paper for after the first given roll, no hairdryer. (Mercadona and Consum grocery stores though are in walking distance!) For those sensitive to noise, the bar below broadcast loudly the soccer game commentary and music. If there were tennis courts, I didn't see them nor was there any information really given about the facilities (but we found the indoor pool, which was open 9:30-7 PM only--would have liked if it was open later!)
Review 20：2 Lounge chairs overlooking the sea were perfect to view the sunrise, soak up the sun, and enjoy the sound of the waves (see-through panels blocked a lot of the wind too). Indoor pool with "spa" jets was a pleasure. The one bedroom (twin beds) and sofa bed in the living room came well equipped overall: broom, mop, drying rack, laundry washing machine, coffeemaker, microwave, mini-fridge/freezer, dishes and utensils, even bottleopener and a hand blender! As it was off-season, we parked for free right on the street.

Review 25：For newcomers to Calpe. You should provide literature of attractions and facilities. Perhaps also offer a new arrivals welcome food pack for late night arrivals. A DVD would also be valuable for winter lettings. TV and satellite terrific. So many channels!

The map to find the apartments was so unclear that even the local police (who we had to get to assist us) could not understand it!

Review 59：Beds mattresses are very soft, difficult to sleep. Glass furniture is quite unsuitable for families with small children. Apartment design is a bit too colorful, especially funny look canvas will soviet planes. Swimming pool is small if to compare with neighboring buildings. But generally all is ok!

Review 61：The office was a long way from the appartment. They did not explain theuse of the keys or provide directions.The smell of disenfectant in the lift was dreadful. This smell also existed in the apartment but was not quite so bad there. When you come out of the lift there is no light, you have to look for a switch. There should be an automatic light. We had to get the kettle and the bottle opener replaced as both were broken. Does no one check these things ? To do this required 2 long walks to the office and back. There were no directions of how to find the indoor pool. Our car park place was by a drain which meant we had to park in a pool of water when it rained (which it did alot). The office did arrange to change this (reluctantly). The sette in the lounge was uncomfortable. There were no English channels on the TV apart from News channels.

Review 63：Walls are very thin (you can easily hear neighbours coughing and also their tv) and when neighbours were cooking all the cookery smells came in to my apartment through the extractor fan in my kitchen. Something clearly not right with the construction.

Review 67：When we arrived we had to walk to another hotel about 5 mins away. I know this is told to you but its not ideal with young kids. Also when we got to the first apartment, the heating was broken and the place was freezing, the coffee table with glass panel was broken and dangerous. the twin bedroom main light was broken, the lamps in the main bedroom were hanging to one side, the kitchen windows didnt close properly, there were no plugs in the bath or sinks and generally it didnt feel great at all. We sat for two hours whilst they tried to fix the heating. It was miserable with two kids waiting. Anyway we then asked for another room after getting fed up and got another room on 7th floor. (we had to walk all the way to the other hotel again to get keys). Anyway when we got into the room on the 7th floor and got some heat and everything else was working it was lovely. Lovely location but not a lot to do in Calpe on a cold feb day.

Review 71：We did't like that the linin is not changed after a few days and you have to bus or wash your self...and you do not really like to wash linen in your holliday ... in rest it was fine only a few crazy spanis boys was behavior like animal at the spa and its was unlikelly but hipocampus is not ressponsable for peoples behavior.

Is close to the ifact mountain and we was with my friend untill the top of it and its was excellent! i reccomand to all people to go there. I never belive the review i readed about an hotel but know i'm really honest and i reccomand Calpe and hipocampos apartments to everyone.
