Review 2：The staff were very quick in answering my e-mails before we arrived.The hotel was just perfect great location rooms beautiful and well stocked with luxury amanties bathrobes slippers lotions etc. A small bottle of Cava was delivered complimentary our first evening.The food and staff in the restaurant was of a very high standard. I could not have asked for more even though the hotel was closing at the end of the month everything was available as normal. I can not rate this hotel and its staff high enough really looking forward to going back next year.

Review 12：We would have been disappointed with a standard room which have small balconies, some overlooking streets with tatty bars.We stayed during a busy week and there really wasn't enough space around the pool for the number of guests. Too many of the restaurant tables were close together, great for those wanting to spark up a chat with other guests but not so good for those who'd like to choose not to. We were disappointed with the resort (obviously not the hotel's fault). The beaches are average; we didn't like the competing booming noises from nearby hotels. The marina looked, frankly, a bit naff.

Review 13：We were upgraded to a superior room, which had a lovely outside seating area. It was very refreshing that the rule about not putting towels on beds is taken seriously. The entertainment on Sunday evening was the best we've seen at a hotel like this, with Brothers of Soul getting everyone on their feet and dancing.

Review 15：The hotel was lovely. so clean and tidy. Was really nice, the food is excellent. We went half board and was not dissapointed, breakfast excellent. Location is brilliant right in the marina. The staff friendly helpful, greeting was lovely.

Review 20：The only negative comment is they don't enforce their policy on customers not being allowed to place towels on sunbeds and then not using them. The hotel really need to get to grips with this problem as it's the only fault I could find. However this comment must not deflect from what this Hotel is overall ; extremely good!

The rooms were already to expensive for the old facilities + there is a safe in the room but you need to deposit 10 euros and pay 3 euros per night to use it! + to use towels for the pool, you need to deposit 10 euros and pay 1 euro each time you need to change your towels!!! + it is a half board hotel (ie., dinner included in the price) but you need to pay for even water at the dinner! + if you are not facing the pool but the road then the room would not be very enjoyable + lower floor rooms feel like people are walking into your room so make sure to book an upper floor room

Review 26：The average age was slightly older than expected (for a young couple in our 20's we did notice this - but not a problem at all) The bathroom in the hotel was great except for the shower. Cala'n Bosc is a great resort and the local restaurants were really impressive. However for those who want to explore the island you have to drive up to Ciutadella first to get anywhere.

Review 27：We came here in June 2015 for our honeymoon. We arrived very late in the evening and the staff had saved us some dinner which was really good! Our room was very nice but the most impressive factor was the quality of the staff. The food in the restaurant was also extremely good. Pool - great! We really can't fault this hotel for anything. we would definitely recommend this and return ourselves.

Review 29：What's not to like, our room and balcony were superb, the pool was a delight, and the food was simply delicious. The staff were exceptional, and extremely polite. Plus, one must not forget the efforts put on every evening to present great entertainment. Jolly well done everyone.

Review 30：The fact the hotel was an adult only hotel made our holiday a peaceful and relaxing break. You could not fault the staff, everyone of them were well trained, polite helpful and always greeted us with a smile. I thought the half bottle of cava that was sent to the room to wish us happy holiday was a nice touch, as was the tea making facilities.

Review 40：We had a few niggles (which are hardly worth mentioning considering the large number of plus points) such as the pool bar tender constantly whistling to himself for hours solid. Sounds trivial but during a full day by the pool it really starts to grate on your nerves. There is a small round children's pool which would make an ideal hot tub now that they are an adults only hotel. That being said these are only minor points and we would happily recommend this hotel and stay there again. Just book it :-)

Review 41：This is a very nice hotel. All the staff are super friendly, the rooms are large and very clean. They have taken every effort to add those little touches which make such a difference. Free fresh apples in reception, piped classical music in the bathroom (can be turned off) and quality clean bath robes, lovely flowers and artwork throughout. The pool is perfect and varies from ankle depth to swim depth, plenty of sun beds and a raised terrace with comfy chairs. The food was delicious and there were a large variety of dishes on offer. The range changed a little each night with the basic fresh produce being offered. Fresh pancakes and omelettes are made in front of you as well as the usual breakfast fare. Very close to the marina and their terrace restaurant must only be 15 paces from the water. I never once passed a member of staff who didn't smile and say hello.

Review 51：We drove to the hotel and found it difficult to find as many of the roads are one way and also there were no signs and no actual sign on the hotel itself. However, once there we were very happy. My only other comment is that the pool view terrace area of the room which was ground floor level was very overlooked by everyone walking by and by those playing table tennis, so could not really sit and relax in private, I would suggest a first floor room for privacy.

Review 52：The hotel is in an excellent position on the harbour with all the bars, restaurants and shops on the doorstep. We enjoyed the live music every night and the various activities like yoga, tai chi and aqua fit in the pool during the day. The beach is only a 10 minute walk away with its white sand and beach bar.

The staff are very friendly, the food is good, the evening entertainment was of a very good standard. Lovely hotel pool, good sized clean room. To sum up it all up I simply say First Class.

Review 109：There was a sewage smell from our bathroom that appeared between 7pm and 10pm. Not sure what that was about but we noticed in when passing by other rooms too. Our wifi was extremely spotty and we ended up going into the hallway or lobby to get a good connection. Very frustrating.

Nice swimming-pool with hydromassage. Volley ball, body balance. Evening entertainment with excellent singers, dance. Perfect location, closed to the most beautiful beaches. We'll definitively return to the Valentin Star (only adults).
