Review 1：I was very disappointed to find that the spa was closed for the whole of our stay and this was a reason we chose this hotel for the massage etc we were not told when we booked that the spa was not available or we would not have booked and we certainly will not book again.

Review 2：The hotel was in an excellant location right beside the promenade and beach and close to the shops and restaurants there was three lifts and a swimming pool all in the hotel

Review 18：The coffee in the morning at breakfast was not good they need to improve the flavour and perhaps the way it is served. I think it would be better to give guests a cafetiere to their table or even a tea pot if they are having tea. My son who is very fit and uses the gym at home regularly was very disappointed with the gym facilities in this hotel and also the opening hours of the gym. He said the equipment in the gym was in a very poor state and that they need to update their equipment. Guests having to pay for car parking I thought was a bit mean. Surely guests are paying enough ! They shouldn't have to pay for parking too.

Review 19：The Hotel was ideally situated right in the centre of town. The room we had was lovely. We had a great view and worth paying the extra for the sea view. Breakfast in the morning was very good with a great variety of food. The pool area was very nice and the staff in the bar there were very good and kept the whole area very clean.

Review 25：Clean, modern hotel, near the beach and local town. It has all of the same facilities as the nearby Gran Hotel Sol y Mar but half the price. Room is very spacious, has a touch button safe, plenty of towels, and is nicely furnished. Staff were very helpful and allowed me to make a call from reception when my own phone was out of action. Would love to stay here again if visiting Calpe.

Review 28：Hairdryer is in the bathroom. Not a good place. Bathroom gets steamed up and makes a very humid atmosphere - bad for hair drying! Also means spending more time in bathroom - much to partners annoyance. It was a relief to get out of the bathroom and back into the aircon room, even if hair only half dry.

Review 88：Ideal hotel position for my sister and I to have a short break. Beach, shops, resturants and promenade all on the door step. Under ground parking convenient (not cheap) View from balcony, beyond the hotel next doors pool complex. Above all, good or bad. Chose this hotel for its position,excellent and as a comfortable base which it was.

Review 95：The air-conditioning did not work.It is June in Spain and the room was hot. If you opened the balcony doors it was very noisy. We were continually disturbed throughout the night with noisy Spanish guests. In the end at 4.50am I had to dial reception to ask them to be quiet. Then a couple of hours later guests start getting up for breakfast so we only had a few hours sleep. Very disappointed for a 4 star hotel. You can hear every word from guests nearby, not just the next room the whole corridor! The rooms seem to have no sound proofing at all.
