Overlooking Jandia lighthouse on Fuerteventura, the Faro Jandia has swimming pools and is 1,000 feet from the beach. All of the rooms have a balcony, and many have sea views.
The large outdoor pool has a whirlpool and is heated during the winter. The spa includes a sauna, Turkish baths and pebble pool, as well as a jacuzzi and sensations shower. The hotel has tennis courts and a modern gym.
There are activities for children throughout the day, while live music is provided in the evening. Next to the children’s pool is a terrace with lounge chairs for sunbathing.
The Faro’s air-conditioned rooms are decorated with modern wooden furniture. All have satellite TV and an outdoor area with table and chairs.
The Atlántida offers a varied international breakfast and dinner buffet. There is a grill restaurant by the pool offering Spanish classics such as paella. The pool bar offers cocktails, and also has free Wi-Fi.

Review 1：Nothing to dislike. Some of the food was not to our liking, but with so much choice there was plenty to enjoy even for the fussiest eater. We were on third floor so not much of a pool view. Get an upper floor room if that bothers you. The hotel is about an hour's drive from the airport and close to 100 euro each way for a taxi. The bus is cheaper but will take twice as long. Car hire is an option we will consider next time.

Review 2：This hotel is great for a relaxed getaway. We arrived 12th Dec for 1 week, hotel was not busy. Rooms are modern, spacious and clean, plenty of closet space, bath/shower room with all necessities, large balcony with table a loungers. Staff were excellent, although most assumed we were German due to the overwhelming German clientelle. Not a problem for us. Food choice was incredible. We went half board buffet breakfast and dinner and there was always plenty of choice and great quality. Pool was heated and clean, fresh replacement towels on tap. Spa was a great way to relax after a day in the sun. Beach is a 10 minute walk away, clean and not busy. I could not fault this hotel and will definately go again next year.

Review 3：Catered more to the older German market. You were allocated a table for dinner for the whole stay, we got a letter basically reprimanding us for sitting where we liked and not at the allocated table. Also, even though we were AI they took careful note of everything you are and drank, a bit off putting!

Review 5：We did not like the fact that it was assumed we were German and were addressed in German on several occasions, although we are English we would have appreciated being spoken to in Spanish or English, fuerteventura is a Spanish island.

Review 7：Nothing indeed. The entertainment was relatively poor but in line with the "average" client in the period (September), i.e. mature couples.

Review 8：Breakfast and food in general was great with rich buffet and relatively ample choice of food. Perfect place to relax and take a break. The beach is just across the street and is simple magnificent alike the sea (warm and clean). All the Spanish members of the staff have been very willing to help and assist even though they barely spoke English (instead they appeared to be fluent in German) but since we have not experienced any real issue it was good fun trying to interact with them. The hotel is well managed and organised as expected given its ranking. Clients can use for free the underground parking even though on street parking is easily available at any time.

Review 9：The service at the bar was slow and it appeared understaffed. While there was ample drinks provided for breakfast we did not like that no still water was available during the dinner buffet as standard.

Review 10：This hotel was located opposite the beach and in the centre of shops and facilities. The hotel was maintained to a very high standard and was spotlessly clean and made for a very relaxed break.We went half board which we felt made excellent value for money as the choice was superb. The staff were all very professional and did a great job.

Review 11：Smoke when on balcony and on terrace at breakfast, but this was also a general annoyance in all bars and restaurants of the island.

Review 18：Free WIFI is a joke, you need to sit on the edge of the balcony to get a signal. It only works properly near the reception area. No double beds, despite a request and hotel confirmation.

Review 23：I loved faro jandia! From receiving a glass of champagne on arrival to getting a late check out on departure , everything was excellent!! Food at breakfast was plentiful and good quality produce. Wifi at the pool was a rare treat! The hotel is so central, you couldn't be closer to shops etc. Bed was extremely comfortable and en suite was spacious and pristine. Staff were so helpful. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

Review 33：The only let down was the coffee at breakfast so bad I couldn't drink it. I tried from the machine , from the sachets and the coffee served at the table, I gave up.The buffet was plentyful but a bit hit and miss lots of salads with fruit in it, hot food only warm except the meat and fish cooked to order, still didn't go hungry and variety from day to day was good. Guest mainly mature couple so not the best for teenagers. Spa is nudist except at pool area(may or may not suit) teenagers aged 16-18 are allowed in to the gym but only if accompanied by an adult which is not clearly stated on booking.com maybe the small print?This was a bit disappointing for my 17yr old as i had no gear not a gym person.

Review 34：The staff at reception were particularly helpful and friendly yet professional.Had a late flight home and reception arranged for us to use another room on the ground floor to shower and change and took care of our luggage as our room was booked out. I had some problems checking in for my flight on my phone and they checked us in and printed boarding cards for us straight away without hesitation. I was only looking to use computer at the tour desk (vim i think was the receptionists name unfortunately didn't get colleagues names) bar and restaurant staff were also friendly and professional. location is great near beach and shops bars etc.. bonus is free on street parking as well as underground carpark although this was a little tricky to get in and out of, so didn't bother.Rooms are spacious and clean we were on 5th floor and the views were gorgeous ,no sun though( room 537) but that suited us.Beds were very comfortable. Room was cleaned daily which was also nice. i would go back again.

Review 36：The peaceful surroundings, excellent service and always with a smile. The location is great - a sheltered oasis when the wind is blowing. Unlike others, we had absolutely no problem with people reserving sunbeds. There were always plenty to go round. We loved it there.
