Reviews for Condedu
Review 1:Noisy street and frosty room at night. I wish I had a parking spot instead of having to pay for two whole night at Menacho which is 500 metres away and cost a fortune. Other than that service was very good.
Review 2:The service was attentive and kind.
Review 3:Young man at reception didn't really seem to want to be there or be helpful. GPS kept wanting us to go down podestrianised streets so it was a little challenging to get to by car.
Review 4:Great location - right in the centre. Spacious parking lot. Strong wifi
Review 5:No breakfast included but we already new that.
Review 6:Very central, with all you need for a really good price. The size of the room was good and clean, the bed was up to the task, it had a mini fridge (nice surprise) and AC, the size of the bathroom was also very good. Apart from the room the wifi worked very well and was free.
Review 7:There are some construction next door, not very pleasant. Wifi sometimes doesn't work.
Review 8:the location is very near the centre. The hotel is quite basic, very clean and has everything you need. Lady at front desk is very helpful.
Review 9:We plug of the bath did not fit, so we couldn't bath the kids. The staff made an effort to solve this, but in the end we just showered them.
Review 10:Great value for money. Good location. Nice staff. Free (in August) parking nearby or paid parking inside the hotel.
Review 11:I didn't find toilet paper in the room and the wifi connection was not very good. no breakfast
Review 12:I liked the good location and was cheap in the high season period
Review 13:In booking.com it was told that American Express is accepted but in reality of the credit cards only Visa and Mastercard were accepted. The small fridge in the room (good thing as itself) was quite loud.
Review 14:The staff was very helpful. They told me how to find a certain place, found a way to open my wine bottle and had an answer for every question. And most of them spoke or understood English. The location was good in the middle of the old town. Short walking distance to everywhere. The TV in the room was smallish but had HD channels. The air condition was good. In total very good value for money.
Review 15:Cleanliness could be better. The trash can in the bathroom was not clean before our arraival.
Review 16:Valeu for money mostly. Good location, good bed. Good hotel for a short stay.
Review 17:The wifi was very very slow and you couldnt open some webs. To get to the hotel you have stairs, not very comfortable with a stroller ... once you get in u have an elevator:)
Review 18:Had booked a room with 3 individual beds, got a room with 2 individual bed and 1 bunkbed (bunkbed not so good and regular beds short for 180cm men), staff doesn´t speak English, no breakfast. Wifi not working so well, hotel aware of the problem.
Review 19:Central location (beware many streets in Badajoz are oneway - nightmare for tourists driving to the hotel), room was clean and comfortable, staff helpful.
Review 20:Wi-fi has no signal, everytime poor, that's the thing that I can talk about..
Review 21:Location, just perfect for who wants to know the city, just in the center. People are nice. Spanish are nice guys
Review 22:The ait con in room 202 leaked constantly when on so lack of sleep due to heat or dripping noises. The problem was reported to staff but not dealt with at all.
Review 23:The vending machine in reception area is very useful.
Review 24:Nothing - it was better than expected.
Review 25:Choice of room sizes - we had 2 doubles and 1 triple room. Very cheap stay on our way from Santander to south Portugal, with 4 adults and 3 teens. Staff very friendly and helpful - they recommended an amazing local restaurant.
Review 26:40EUR for a family room (2 adults, 2 kids) is fantastic value. Free Wifi and a friendly receptionist, what more could one ask for the money ???
Review 27:The girl at reception was very friendly and helpful. Pointed out that overnight parking was available nearby (across the road) for the princely sum of..........0.80 EUR !
Review 28:Free Wi Fi . Very poor signal strength . Could only conect very earlymorning, even then very slow
Review 29:Good location. Safe on site parking 7.5 euro per night
Review 30:Everything is perfect but some cables (eletricity, tv, etc.) on thefloor are a bit weird. They should cover or rearrange it - is so easy! But all in all, I strongly recommend - 25 euro \ double room \ nightis a must!!
Review 31:Staff was helpful. Condedu seems a refurbished hotel with still someongoing work, although it seems a bit confusing who runs it and how...Location is very centric! Price is super! :)
Review 32:You could hear the other guests talking and walking around in the night. There is a church which woke me up three times on a Sunday morning but I guess there are churches all over the city so its not really the hotel's fault
Review 33:Great location! Great hotel for that price (we paid 15€/night per person in a 3 bed room). It was a bit noisy but clean and, like I said, the perfect location. Would stay there again.
Review 34:The breakfast bread was absolutely raw. Wi-Fi has been good before, but this time.it was working poorly.
Review 35:Clean, quiet, accessible.
Review 36:No habia gel ni champu
Review 37:Habitaciones grandes
Review 38:It was quite crazy to find a way to the hostel by car.
Review 39:A lift, nice rooms, very nice and clean bathrooms and helpful personnel.
Review 40:Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and adequate.
Review 41:Hugh pillow
Review 42:a little noisy, old bathroom
Review 43:good location, friendly staff
Review 44:the bed was ver unconfortable and bedroom wasnt pretty nice no beakfrast is offered the restaurant is closed
Review 45:staff and location
Review 46:secure parking
Review 47:Proximity to the centre of Badajoz and the carnaval. The rapport with 70+ members of a Carnaval samba band, Batala.
Review 48:Cold in the building. Room too small. No WiFi in my room. Poor maintenance
Review 49:Location. Value for money
Review 50:the room (107) that we stay doesn't have a hair drayer.
Review 51:nothing
Review 52:Too basic, but enough if you just want a cheap place to pass the night.
Review 53:Clean. Nice staff.
Review 54:Very smoll for 4 persons
Review 55:The recepciónist took far too long and seemed not to know what She was doing. Checking out was even worse, taking 20 minutes.
Review 56:There was a secure underground carpark attached to the hotel.
Review 57:Cigarette smoke caused us to request another room. Basic breakfast with machine coffee.
Review 58:The young lady receptionist was friendly and excellent in sorting out a couple of problems. Off street parking. Great location near restaurants and the main squares. Reasonably comfortable with good bathroom facilities. Good value.
Review 59:We had a problem with the car and had to stay an extra two nights ~ the hotel staff could not have been more helpful. It was also one of the few hotels in the area which was dog-friendly, so that really decided our venue as we were travelling to Portugal! We were delighted with the location in the old quarter which was really quaint with lots of good restaurants and bars nearby.
Review 60:Nothing
Review 61:It is close to the city centre, to the cathedral and the castle, also close to shopping area and supermarkets. There is a minibar in the room. It is clean and the staff is helpful, only one elder sir speaks English well, the other young hardly speak English. But all staff is friendly and helpful, they try to understand you and give you help.
Review 62:No bar, or lounge facility, cold drinks dispensed from a machine in the hall, lift rather scary but it worked. No maps or guides available, very necessary as whole area pedestrianized and a huddle of intersecting streets. We had to huntdown places for both evening drinks and eventually an evening meal.
Review 63:very pleasant staff, welcoming and kindly accommodating our car in the covered garage, for a €7.50 fee. WiFi facility was very good, the room was comfortable, light and with an efficient shower-room, furnishing were a little sparse and "shaky", towel rail fell off fittings, no switch in the hairdryer!
Review 64:The cost of the secure parking.
Review 65:The position of the hotel in one of the side alleys of the old town made it fantastic for accessing the sights. (the history of Badajoz during the civil war makes compelling reading) The staff were very friendly and helpful but if you retire early, expect some street noise due to its location. The parking was good and secure but costly. The rooms were large and had both fridge and air con very similar to a UK Travel Lodge or Premier Inn only twice as large. All in all good value for money especially if you don't have a car.
Review 66:No wifi in the rooms, but they did have it in common spaces.
Review 67:1. Proximity to city center, castle and food.2. Great people, independent thinkers. 3. Proximity to Portugal and a different culture. 4. Slightly cooler weather than southern Spain.
Review 68:The breakfast was very basic, it´s probably better to look for a breakfast bar nearby.
Review 69:The hotel is right in the historic centre but in a very quiet location as the street is pedestrianised. The room was very clean and comfortable.
Review 70:The street was rather narrow and unloading baggage was a little difficult......but not too much of a problem and compensated by the fact that the hotel is centrally situated
Review 71:Very helpful staff Friendly reception Nicely modernised Town centre....good location Free wifi Excellent value for money Nearby economic parking facility
Review 72:It's very, very, very noisy. You can hear every step that your neighbour do. The bathrooms have a very noisy fan, that wake you up anytime a neighbour goes to the bathroom. I could not sleep at all.
Review 73:It was very near the centre
Review 74:This was my second stay at this hotel. The staff are friendly, theroom comfortable and the location is excellent, a few minutes from ThePlaza Mayor.
Review 75:Friendly staff, very comfortable room. The location is very good, closeto the Plaza de Espana and other places of interest, as well as bars andsupermarkets.
