Reviews for Gasthof Post

Review 1:Very dark; in fact, I had to use my phone to find the hall light switch at night. It's very smoky everywhere. If you don't smoke, you won't like it here. The facilities, especially outdoors, are very old. The minigolf & tenns are unplayable. Not much in town; the action is in Zell am Zee

Review 2:Building has some character. Nice people.

Review 3:A bit pricey in my opinion

Review 4:Friendly/ helpful staff Very quaint building Close to public transport Breakfast included and good choices

Review 5:Smoking in the hotel made the whole place smell

Review 6:Very nice people,fantasctic selection of foods,lovely,bright room :)

Review 7:Very dark and lack of good front desk assistance.

Review 8:Location and a great breakfast.

Review 9:Room was small.

Review 10:The quietness of the hotel. Convenience location. Opposite the train station.

Review 11:Staff treated us nicely. They even baught special non-pork products for our daily breakfast. Appreciate that gesture

Review 12:Excellent food!

Review 13:Can't think of any cause for complaint. Just that a bed side lamp would have been nice.

Review 14:The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was exactly what I needed for a one night stay on my bike tour, but I'm sure it would be suitable for a longer say. Cleanliness was exemplary and not an issue, with the overall state of the amenities being very good. The Gashof is located close to the center of Bruck and I loved the fact that it's an older building. Breakfast was good and offered a respectable variety. Overall, the value for money was great and I would definitely recommend the Gasthof to others.

Review 15:- the place for smoking directly in the foyer (in front of the reception)

Review 16:- very friendly staff - simply but clean room - no any culinary delights but always fresh and good tasting food (I had the HB ordered = in actual fact an adequate buffet breakfast + three or four-course dinner)

Review 17:There is no wi-fi in the rooms, so you have to go downstairs to thelobby or restaurant and go online there using your device and wi-fi, ora local computer (a bit slow, but quite okay to check mail or booktickets etc.). Makes you remember those times when you didn't haveinternet in your pocket all the time :)

Review 18:Absolutely great deal for its price.Costs twice cheaper than similar hotels in Zell-am-See. Free ski bus to the Schmitten mountain goes twice in the morning (8:30 and 9:00) and 4 times back to the hotel in the evening (15:15-17:15) and takes 15 minutes to get there. The trip to Kitzsteinhorn mountain (3000 meters) which is more sunny, has better snow and is less crowded, takes 45 minutes and one connection (it takes the same time for those who live directly at Zell-am-See). If bus schedule doesn't suit you, you can take a train which costs something like 2 euro. The bus and train stop is 50 meters from the hotel. The double room I stayed in (18-22 Feb 2013) was quite large, warm and comfortable and was cleaned daily. New and clean shower with really hot water is also what makes you happy after a good day of skiing. The personnel is charming and helpful in all the questions. Breakfast includes fresh bread, meat, cheese, different types of cereals/cornflakes, yogurts and other breakfast stuff; orange and apple juice, nice selection of teas, coffee. Quite enough to fill yourself up until lunch on the mountain. There is also a bar and restaurant at the hotel, so you can have a dinner or just have a beer in the evening. Would definitely recommend to others and come back there next year.

Review 19:No wi-fi internet connection despite advertised as having a wiredinternet connection - therefore impossible to use own computer. There was a smokers room directly below room. No lift, but was advertised with a lift.

Review 20:Room was clean.

Review 21:The location SHOULD be great, but the trains and busses run too infrequently for the Gasthof to be convenient. NO wifi, and the PC in the hotel is terrible for Internet access! My room was a bit small and quite cold, especially during the day.

Review 22:The staff is new, and tried very hard to make me comfortable when I expressed concerns. They are trying to overcome a poor reputation. The food in the hotel was hearty and quite good.

Review 23:If you would like to drive through Grossglockner High Alpine Road from Austria side - it's excellent place to spend a night before that trip.
