Review 1：Immaculately presented throughout, with an extremely attractive plant lined terrace, where you can enjoy a glass of wine and a few olives. The owner, Carlos, went out of his way to be helpful and accommodating. Also, just a short walk from all the best restaurants in town. .

Review 4：Accused by owner of smoking in room and charged 50€ on credit card,without my knowledge ! When I queried this by email he stated that hecould smell smoke when I was staying there, but at no time did hemention this to me during my stay, but waited until I had checked outand then quickly charged my card. I actually only used an electroniccigarette which produces no smoke . I have queried the charge with my cccompany and wonder what proof he will offer for this charge ??Also when I made the booking , maybe more than a month before , my card was not only authorized but a few days later charged for the full amount. When I asked how to use the safe in the room, I was told that too many guests had forgotten the numbers they set, so he had decided there would only be one number , which he gave me. So use the safe only if you don't care if the owner knows the combination, as do any recent guests who used the room safes. Secure ? Think Not. Altogether an unpleasant stay, but admittedly I slept relatively well as I was the only guest in residence, but a warning, the street is used often by teenagers on very loud unsilenced motor bikes which can be very annoying. Room was a little too Chintzy for my taste.

Review 7：The location is close to restaurants and bars, but very quiet during the evening and night, the rooms are well furnished and clean, the bathroom modern and clean, the kitchen for selfcatering adequate and a well decorated courtyard for an outside drink or meal.. A good guesthouse if you stay in Pego!

Review 11：Cordell or should I say Carlos runs a very pleasant B&B and is very attentive to his guests. Did everything to make our stay count. Recommended a fabulous local eatery and also gave us some other good advice about what to see in the vicinity. Lovely breakfast.

Review 13：If you have a chance to stay in Pego or neighbourhood I definitely recommend Casa Pego Guesthouse. Everything new, clean and beautiful. 200 percents satisfied :) breakfast was excellent, too. Accomodation was better as some 3 stars hotels we stayed in.

Not to mention the atmosphere that reigns in this beautifully restored home in the authentic town of Pego. If you want the real Spain just 15' away from the beach, Carlos gives you it all. Review 21：Our only little niggle! Early morning daylight in Mountain View bedroom - add muslin curtains for shade & privacy - and something thicker for morning sun if you don´t like lowering the shutters which blocks the vital breeze.
Review 22：lovely guesthouse with amiable proprietor. Aged timber doors in quiet street open onto high heavenly cool white hallway & patio - a cool-air tunnel in mid-August. Casa Pego is splendidly simple modern elegance inserted into restored town house. Warm and patient welcome from proprietor, tea and spirit shot offered to travel-wary guests. Choice of room styles offers varied style & comfort. Super quiet rooms. Speedy hot-water in shower in sparkling bathroom. A/C great- if you like it. Breakfast is gentle and thoughtful, only missed mediterranean tomato concasse spread on toast. Rice fields, wetland nature reserve and fertile valley rises behind town for exploring inland villages.
