Review 2：It all can't wait to visit again in summer came for 5 nights this time but it will be 7 nights in summer the staff and hotel was great ..
Review 3：No air conditioning, so left the window open. Our room was on the front of the hotel, overlooking the river which was very nice. But, the railway line also runs directly in front of the hotel which proved very noisy of a night with constant train traffic. If you're a light sleeper, ask for a room at the back!
Review 4：Very central position, walking distance to railway station and opposite KD ferry wharf for travelling up the Rhine. Nice room, clean and with renovated bathroom. But bathroom was very small with an oddly shaped shower recess with hardly any room to move and not much storage room for toiletries. A good choice for breakfast (hot and cold). There is no free WIFI in the rooms, but free internet access in the lobby.

Review 7：Hotel was located centrally in Rudesheim. It was not far from the station and across the road from where our boat left on the Rhine. The room was clean and tidy and we had a lovely view of the river.
Review 8：Our family room turned out to be in an adjacent building and did not resemble the pictures or description. The room had 2 bedrooms connected by a hallway, instead of one bedroom with 4 twins as pictured. We were travelling with our infant and our 4 year old who was too afraid to stay in a separate bedroom by herself. There was no ac which is fine but when we called to ask for a fan we were told that all the fans had already been given out. The view was to the parking lot and the brick wall across the driveway for the parking. Parking was a bit of a hassle with having to hand over our car keys to the staff so that they could fit all the cars into their parking area and move them around as needed when people need to leave. The bathroom smelled and the entire room was a bit rundown feeling. As well for the price it is absurd that they tried to charge a small fee for the coffee and tea packets in the room, I have never seen that before and it was rather tacky.
Review 9：The only thing I don't like is that the hotel is too close to the railway. Trains passing by and make lots of noise. Specially for the rooms facing to river side.

Review 11：Picked this hotel primarily because the KD Ferry wharf for the trip down the Rhine to Koblenz, which we would do the next day, was directly opposite and one minute away. Sitting on the verandah at any time watching the river traffic and trains go past was most enjoyable, as was walking through Rudesheim with its traditional buildings and shops. Had the misfortune to fall outside the hotel and the staff organised for me to attend the modern, fully equipped, and efficient local hospital for assesment and treatment.

Review 14：The problem for ALL the hotels in this prime strip along the river is that the train line run in front of the hotels. The double-glazed windows seal out all noise, BUT it is stifling hot in summer, as there is no air conditioning in bedrooms. For summer, seek an air-conditioned hotel as the constant train racket would be unbearable with windows open. My wife enquired politely at reception whether there was an electric fan available. The answer was a curt NO and the person swept off to do something else. In the Hospitality industry, this bluntness equates to rudeness. This jarred with the pleasant experiences we had with other friendly staff.

The market was not running while we were there but we didnt know until too late to cancel the reservations without still paying. But if that is the worst I can say about the hotel then it is well worth overlooking one thing.
Review 31：The location is great. The beds were comfortable and space was good. The buffet breakfast is quite nice with good German breakfast choices. Wonderful location along the river with some great views. In the center of shopping and just a block or two from Drosselgasse. There is some designated parking (it is challenging parking and not good for larger vehicles, but for smaller cars it is great with many open bays for garage style parking.
Review 32：A bit noisy with the numerous freight trains that pass close by all through the night. Car park small and car can be stuck behind other cars at back of car park. Reception holds on to keys to shift cars around to let people out and in. There is other public parking very close.
Review 33：Rudesheim is a lovely little town on The Rhine. Hotel in excellent location for accessing trains, ferries etc. Lots of lovely restaurants in walking distance. Hotel lovely. Clean and comfortable, Breakfast plentiful and tasty. Evening meal very good and great value.
Review 34：There was a main railway line directly outside the front off the hotel. I had a front river facing room with a lovely view of the Rhein. Unfortunately freight trains ran at regular intervals all through the night. My advice is to get a room at the back of the hotel if like me you are a light sleeper.

Opening the windows was not advisable under any circumstances as the train line directly outside meant that sleep was near impossible even when closed. Freight trains passed through virtually every 5 minutes and it felt like they were in the room! There were way too many extra costs which were included at other places we had stayed in!
