Review 1：There was some very noisy Guests next door.... I would also reccomend a Shuttlebus or pick up Car between the Train Station of Calafell and the Hotel, since you will have to walk 2,5 km ALL UPHILL to the Hotel.
Review 2：The Staff was extreemly helpful and the Hotel was a small but fine Hotel with all what you could possiblbe want ! Also it was sitiuated close between the City of El Vendrell and the Beach City of Cafalell . The Castle was right next door, for you are interested in Historicals . It was such a pleasure meeting the Locals in a total relaxed athmosphere ! The Prize was indeed for any Travellers Purse, and I would even reccomend it to Campists beccause it would cost the same on a Camping Trip, only here, you sleep in comfort and have a Room with view and Private Bath with Bathtub .

Review 6：Hotel is close to historic castle, and in an interesting historical area. Close enough to walk to the beach and shopping if you are active. Nice local village square for refreshments and relaxation. Hotel has nice bar and breakfast is available.
Review 7：I very much enjoyed my stay at Hostal El Castell. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. But the best thing about this place is the staff. They were most helpful and really kind, and this is something that I appreciated very much as a solo traveller. The beach is a bit of a walk, but there is a bus running, so as long as you check bus times, you should be fine! Many thanks to the people at El Castell for a fab holiday!
Review 8：15 minutes to the beach. At the evenings football team was playing round the corner so sometimes it was a little bit noisy.
Review 9：Very good and attentive stuff! Good location (easy to get to Tarragona or Port Aventura). Very delicious coffee every morning. The stuff speaks Russian so it was easy to get consultation. Room clearing every day. At the end of our trip we were presented a bottle of champaign. Very nice and calm place.

Review 13：Staff insisted on photocopying my passport and keeping a copy for the police! First time this has happened in Spain. On road parking but it was a quiet area. Wifi was slow.

Review 17：It was extremely difficult to find as the google directions misled us. The best thing would be to state that it is just beneath the castle, which is easy find. We were given a map at a garage but local people sent us round in circles and phoning the hotel did not help. But we got there in the end. The other negative was that we could not find much in the way of restaurants in that part of town (at end of September)

Review 19：The taxi drivers in Calafell should really wear masks,for a 5 minuteride from the station up to the hostel charged us minimum of 10Euros.Definitely a rate for tourists and one for locals which in itselfis a reason to not visit Calafell again

Review 21：Very nice staff! It was very nice to meet russian-speaking girls in small Spanish town. Everyone is very hospitable, attentive and friendly. Light big rooms, big private bathrooms, terrace. Very clean rooms and corridos. Nice location in the center close to picturesque castle. Nutritious breakfast, perfect service. Perfect place for those who travel by car as they have private parking. A little bit far from the sea, but it was not bad to have a small walk after breakfast. And they promised to arrange a swimming pool in future for those who are too lazy to walk to the beach. More than reasonable price for nice room and breakfast. We spare very good memories of the place!
