Review 6:What a stunning place, full of a family's history, and tended by the sweetest proprietor. The location is terrific, just off the plaza de cathedral, but not noisy at all. The facilities are gorgeous. There is an inner garden where you can have a drink or a coffee and listen to the old fountain.

Review 15:Beautiful Hotel, with internal courtyard to escape the heat of the day. Room was very well decorated. Breakfast was fantastic. Manager was very helpful.

Review 16:Beautiful old building, once a lodging of Nepoleon. Lovely lovely courtyard with a self serve bar in summer. Bathrooms nicely fitted with rain showers. Building itself is very beautiful and well restored. Wonderful stay, would come again!!!

Review 17:Breakfast choice a bit limited.

Review 18:We had a superior room overlooking a quiet courtyard garden with a fountain and lots of birds. Nice convenient parking.

Review 19:Hard to find - you need to drive into a 'no access' road which people kept telling us not to! But once you brave it, it's then great to have the private hotel parking. We struggled to find good eating places in the town in late April. Many places still shut.

Review 21:A little pricy compared to some other nice hotels we stayed at while walking the Camino.

Review 22:Definitely not your average corporate hotel! Nice large bedroom & bathroom. Lots of sitting areas and an outdoor courtyard. And it was a treat to meet the charming & friendly owner, who said the house had been in his family for 224 years!

The breakfast was marvelous. We will definitely come back again!!!

Review 62:The wifi. Was fair at best

Review 63:The building Enter from the street through a beautiful wooden door close to everything the whole ambience of the place was fantastic

Review 64:Casa de Tepa is a beautiful home which has been opened for guests. Our room was delightful with shutter windows overlooking the courtyard and a gorgeous, updated bathroom. It's location is a short walk to many restaurants and the palace, and is in close proximity to the camino path. This was our second stay at Casa de Tepa while traveling through Astorga. We highly recommend this hotel.

Review 65:Internet did not work well in my room, but there were numerous private sitting rooms where access was very good.

Review 66:Beautiful small boutique hotel right in the city centre. Felt like I was staying in someone's home. Staff were lovely and very accommodating.

Review 67:the only problem -WIFI connectionin the room.but this was a common flaw to almost all ofthe hotels we stayed

Review 68:a 200 year old beutiful building with an athmosphera of a living history. The patio ,the hydrangeas in the garden, the clean and spacious family room and above all-the charming personality and hospitality of Don Juan.we felt ourselves as the personal guests of him.

Review 69:We loved everything about our stay here. Beautiful room with a terrace, the house is exquisite and obviously much-loved. Breakfast was wonderful - don't forget to have the fried eggs - all absolutely perfect.

Review 70:Spain in August = air-conditioning vital. Your website indicates this property has air-conditioning in the bedrooms and this one of the reasons when we decided to book here. There was none in our room, nor did we see evidence of air-conditioning anywhere else. Result: a most uncomfortable night + disinclination hereforward to take as gospel your claims about other hotels' facilities.

Review 71:Courteous, friendly management; impressive, former stately home; location; safe parking.

Review 72:Having to pay €36 + VAT for three gin and tonics.

Review 73:We have stayed here before and loved the house and its fabulous garden. This is extremely relaxing hotel- especially sitting in the garden and very (short walk) convenient for the centre of Astorga, a place definitely to be visited in July when it has its annual Romans versus Astorgan festival!

Review 74:It was very expensive and our room was on the street side. and was very noisy early in the morning. This was a problem since, although the hotel was expensive, we chose it to recuperate 2 nights from jet lag before we walked in the Camino

Review 75:Room was clean and a lovely garden

Review 76:No air conditioning in the room but it was very pleasant weather so this wasn't a problem for us.

Review 77:I loved the feel of being in a home rather than a hotel. The honor bar in the garden was a very nice touch. Also learning about the history of the home from the property manager. She made us feel like guests rather than renters.

Review 78:Couldn't get the Wifi to work, but manage offered for us to use their desktop.

Review 79:Lovely courtyard and pleasant place to stay - very roomy and lovely facilities.

Review 80:Nothing. We loved this Posada. I would definitely recommend this to everyone, including my most fastidious sister-in-law.

Review 81:The staff is outstandingly nice and helpful. So full of smiles! So generous with their time and excellent knowledge!! The whole Posada is gorgeous, with the antiques and history it has. Our room itself is huge and beautiful, with a gorgeous bath perfectly appointed. Excellent heating. Great towels. Breakfast was superb, with local products. The parking was within the building. And the courtyard!!! quiet and peaceful and sunlit.
