Review 1：The hotel is located in a sleepy part of town. It's simple yet pleasant! 15 minute walk from the beach.. The staff gave us all the info we needed regarding local bars, restaurants and thier opening times etc and gave tips on little trains that run to and from the beach. Nothing was to much for the staff. We had a BBQ on one of our evenings.. Fabulous! There's a castle facing which was a great place to wonder after breakfast for an hour. Also we had only planned to stay 2 nights but loved it and extended to 4!! Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing break!

Review 3：We enjoyed Great hospitality at this charming hotel with its very welcoming and friendly owners. The breakfast was a combination of standard continental (jams, butter, cereals, milk, yoghurt, juice) and authentic Catalan fare (toasted bread with heirloom tomatoes, garlic and olive oil plus cold cuts). The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was firm and comfortable. The cleanliness was impeccable. The view out onto the yard was great, it reached out onto the sea, and being a corner room, also afforded a view onto the old church of Calafell with its pretty stained glass windows. We were there in the winter and the heat worked very well.
Review 4：The hotel was closed up and appeared dark. Had to ask in a bar whether it was open. Directed to another bar where the waiter took us back to the hotel and let us in. The restaurant was not open so we had to eat at the bar. We would have liked a dinner as we had been travelling for a long time so it was a disappointment. The two members of staff we saw were extremely nice, so it was a shame our other experiences were not good. We would suggest the hotel is not good for a winter stay.
Review 5：The lift was very useful as two of the guests had difficulty climbing stairs. The outlook was lovely. The power of the shower was surprisingly very good.

Review 7：The staff were very friendly especially Claudia and Albert, The hotel is set in a lovely square with a couple of bars, me and my mum enjoyed a wonderful bbq lunch with nice wine in the hotel garden by the pool while my husband and dad searched for Arsenal match a short drive down on the beach front. We all enjoyed a evening meal again in the garden where Albert was our waiter we all had desert but my husband requested fruit and was given a very hard whole peach which sadly he couldn't eat. Very good breakfast.
Review 8：Breakfast was Continental style, bread, cheese, ham, cake and juices, soa little disapointing if a good fry up is needed the morning after. Taxifrom beach back to hotel was 7 - 9 Euros which is quite expensive, buton a hot day is better than the walk back up the hill.
Review 9：Very tranquil, authentic spanish hotel. Beautiful views. You will needyour Spanish to English translator, as very minimal English is spoken. Avery lovely hotel to use as a base. A good 15-20 min walk down to themore touristy beach. 20-30 min walk back up the hill though!! :)

Review 19：We booked half board (including dinner or lunch). The quality and taste of the food served was good. However the portions were really too small. a soup or side saldad,One potatoe, 3 tiny pieces of squid and a coin desert. I am not a big eater but this was not enough for me. The staff speak mainly Catalan or Spanish. If you can not speak any of these, you might have difficulties...
Review 20：Very warm, cosy clean room with great pool and seaview through palmtrees. Simple but clean and good functioning bath/shower. Nice balcony with view. 1 minute walk from famous Calafell castle. Free wifi, parking close to hotel for free. Hotel has no parking. Very friendly staff. Family atmosphere! Absolutely worth the asking price.
