Reviews for Hotel Lindenwirt
Review 1:Very loud hotel if you get a room nearby the "Weingarten" or the "Drosselgasse". No hot water in the shower, only lukewarm at best.
Review 2:Central location in Rudesheim. At the heart of the village and not far to the river, railway station, swimming pool, vineyards and shopping areas as well as all the restaurants. Have visited this hotel many times and are never disappointed.
Review 3:Room was a bit small, noise from locality went on till 1 in the morning, perhaps if we could have closed windows it would have been less, but it was very hot. Drosselgasse gets very busy during the evenings, if you want a quiet hotel try another
Review 4:Central location, pre book car parking in courtyard worked well.
Review 5:Room very hot so hard to sleep. Service extremely slow in beer garden restaurant for lunch but food was excellent. Breakfast OK but not as good as expected as we'd stayed here before.
Review 6:Great location for this amazingly fairy tale looking hotel with external wraparound balcony overlooking courtyard and some "barrel" entrance rooms which seem to be for families. Parking in the courtyard which you should book in advance. Good value for money esp due to location. Has beer garden type restaurant and another restaurant.
Review 7:The only balcony room they have was good but you have to walk up two floors with lugage to reach.
Review 8:Central good, well noise but in our balcony room not that bad. But you are in the middle of the happening.
Review 9:1. Terrible noise during night in room 5, so we changed to 56. 2. For Wifi through your connection we had to register with a commercial company or download software, so we didn't use it.
Review 10:The swallows nestling in the courtyard! And the well-kept old building with a great atmosphere.
Review 11:WiFi access required daily pass codes and on some more than once I needed a new pass code. No tea or coffee making facilities in room so I paid 6 euro for 2 tea bags and hot water.
Review 12:Nothing
Review 13:All great newly refurbished room, compfy bed . great bathroom, breakfast good typical European . Right on the Drosselgasse very friendly staff , perfect!
Review 14:Location is ideal for enjoying this wonderful city. You're in the middle of the Drosselgasse and surrounded by great cafes, restaurants, and shopping. Hotel is beautifully furnished in traditional German décor and the staff is superb. .Private parking is tight but manageable.
Review 15:Some noise leaks into the room
Review 16:Hotel is big but charmy, in the heart of Rudesheim. Our room was very spacious and had stained glass windows, facing the main pedestrian street. You can also book a room inside a wine barrel (huge ones, of course)! Good breakfast. Parking lot is big, and in case of need public parking is available 2-blocks away.
Review 17:A comfort single room had two small beds. It was quite ok. I did notlike it because it was a connectting room. I could hear next doorvery well.VERY loud music till 24o'clock. If you are not comfortable with it, do not forget ear whispers. Rooms were very old. It is very expensive because of the location.
Review 18:You can reach from station easily.
Review 19:Noisy pubs with loud music nearby (there were ear-plugs disposed in the "bathroom") Small room, no parking place
Review 20:Central location, good breakfast
Review 21:Outstanding location and incredibly friendly staff
Review 22:Great location, in historic area and excellent food in restaurant and reasonable prices. Our 2nd visit.

Review 31:No wo Wi Fi in rooms No air conditioning No fans available Terrible food
Review 32:Location
Review 33:No AC or fans. The temperature was over 100 degrees F and the small rooms were unbearably hot. One of the worst sleeping experiences ever.
Review 34:Location.
Review 35:Right in the centre of all the action. Exquisite hotel. Traditional German. Lovely atmosphere.

Review 47:The staff and the location. Couldn't have asked for better.
Review 48:Some rooms need updating.
Review 49:Excellent Location, Parking, Restaurants, value for money.
Review 50:There was really helpfull, friendly and professional staff. Nice clean rooms, even need some updating quite soon.
Review 51:Everything that a hotel should be, efficiency personified.
Review 52:No air conditioning
Review 53:I think a fuse may have blown as I only had electricity / lights in half of my room. I was also awoken at 8.30am by room service. As I didn't speak German and the person at the door didn't speak english it wasn't immeidately obvious why I was being woken. Also, 8.30am is quite early to be waking guests to clean rooms!
Review 54:A very tradtional German hotel in a great location. Wonderfully decorated both inside and out.
Review 55:Bright light shining into room until 10pm couldn't be switched off earlier as it was part of Hotel's advertising. Wifi in room didn't work.
Review 56:Friendly helpful staff. Pleasant room at front of hotel.
Review 57:The most primitive hotel or room we stayed in out of 6 on a 14 day tripin Germany. The rooms are around a courtyard which is used for parkingand have entrances like a motel. Very small rooms, one side of the bed16" the other 24 " space with small nightstands plus a24" by 24" old wooden table and a wooden chair, a 24 " by24 " inch wooden box is the wardrobe. They call it a "traditional" furnished room. A 12" or 14 " inch black boxtv is mounted high on the wall and must be around 15 years or more old.The shower room was newly tiled, the very small toilet room withlavatory had " wood " panel. The wall in the room had a crackof about 5 feed. When you go for breakfast you have to pick up yourcups, plates, fork and spoon yourself as there is nothing on the table,.Same for coffee, milk and anything else you might want. And all otherhotels had a table cloth on it. Now they call it a 3 star s I would noteven give it 2 stars. On the other side below the room was the "Wine Garden" with very loud music from cd during the day and laterlive music until 10 pm The food is over priced and nothing special. Forthis dump they charge 140,- Dollars a night.
Review 58:Did not like anything !!!!!
Review 59:Our room was facing drosselgasse, and it was extremely noisy even after midnight. We did not sleep well in this hotel. The room itself were OK, nothing special.
Review 60:Central location, and reasonably priced.
Review 61:The hotel received 2 tour groups during our stay and it was a bit crowded during the breakfast time.
Review 62:The hotel's location is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We dined at the hotel's restaurant and the food was very good. The service of waitress is good. The breakfast is also great as hot dishes are also availble. On site free parking is available.
Review 63:Was a good location they let me out of a second night stay since therewas nothing open in the whole town
Review 64:Great location but I wish that Booking.com instead of saying that hotelsare full will tell the truth that they are closed for the season we gothere and the whole town was shut down
Review 65:The only downfall, if any, was Internet was not accessible in the room and it was reasonably pricey to use.
Review 66:We found the staff to be very friendly and the hotel charming and in a convenient location. Excellent breakfast was included making it very good value for money. We would recommend staying there.
Review 67:This is a great hotel in the very centre of this gorgeous little town. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good restaurant food and atmosphere. Music/band was entertaining. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Review 68:A very pretty hotel with an inner courtyard which served as the carpark. Terraces overlooked the courtyard and also enormous barrels forcosy accommodation. A restaurant terrace overlooked the hotel and we atethe one night. The hotel has another entrance on Drosselgasse which is amediaeval alleyway with shops and restaurants. This got busy when coachloads arrived but it was never noisy. The hotel room was clean and hadan ensuite, colour tv with only bbc News 24 as the English speakingchannel. Breakfast was superb and reasonable. A beautiful hotel and funto stay at. Plenty of places to see especially Germania monument bycable car, Rhine cruise to Koblenz or Boppard, local trains are alsobrilliant to take for sightseeing, great local Riesling wines too andlocal brandy.
Review 69:Very basic room with old furniture and tiny TV, In need of a make-over.
Review 70:Beautifully situated in town with access and great view of Drosselgasse. Romantic, quaint and old.
