Reviews for Matsch - Plauens älteste Gastwirtschaft

Review 1:The staff were not that friendly. The hotel atmosphere was not very welcoming and when we asked for the wifi password we were abruptly told tje internet was not working. They never managed to fix it and so we had trouble organising our next journey onwards.

Review 2:The hotel is charming in the way it looks and is small, cosy and quaint. It's located near the pretty streets in the old town.

Review 3:Waited at reception for somebody to show up to no effect. Had to search for staff for both, check-in and check-out. Maybe installation of a bell or some sort of pager or something might help. Staff in beer garden not the most intentive.

Review 4:The location has a perfect beer garden inviting to spend the evening. Food and beer are both pretty good. My room was cozy and tidy.

Review 5:The younger, receiving staff member seemed inpatient and rude - by her attitude, she let me understand that my German was not very good. (English was not an option since she did not speak English). Moreover, she asked a higher rate than what was printed on the confirmation, until I protested and presented the booking confirmation. The rest of the staff was very kind.

Review 6:Authenticity of the place Price/quality Very staff (except younger staff member - see comment)

Review 7:Parking only outside hotel - public place - need to pay and problem with a parking meter (it took money, but not gave ticket.
