Review 1：If you're a guest you still have to pay for the Sunbeds.

Review 2：Lovely location. The beach is near. Loads of places to eat and nice surroundings. It's quite far from the airport but easy enough to find if you hire a car.

Review 7：My only grumble for the hotel was that I did request the use of an iron and they only had one for the whole hotel, also the wi-fi wasn't great, you practically had to be in the lobby to get a decent reception! Only a small grumble

Review 8：This hotel has gone to great lengths to create a great relaxing atmosphere that works a treat. The staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The layout of the place is great, I paid a bit extra for a larger room and got a fantastic view of the marina from the front and a lovely view of the sea on the rear balcony, definitely worth the bit extra. We only included breakfast in our package because there is so much choice of restaurants on the marina that we were out practically every night. We did have various bar snacks and room service on occasion and the quality was very high. The breakfast offered a very good variety both continental and cooked food was available. Generally the trip was fantastic and the majority of the people staying at the hotel were very friendly and equally relaxed.

Review 9：Did not like the fact that items are left in the room and not obvious that there is a charge for them. I think you should let guests know about these things on check-in. Also bath towels are slightly small. you should make it clear what charges for different sunbeds are.

Review 24：The facilities overall were not as advertised. We paid way over the odds assuming we would be staying in something like the advertised photographs. This is fairly basic accommodation with dated furniture. The breakfast setup is frustrating. Wifi is useless.

Review 28：the evening meal, we booked half board to find that the evening meal was not at the hotel and was at the fiesta bar down the road, we did not want this so on arrival we tried to cancel only to be told this was not possible and that we had to go through booking.com as that is where we booked the holiday, there was no wifi connection so this was not possible, the restaurant had two menus a blue for hotel guests and a red for paying customers, the meals we had there were of poor quality and on most occasions we could not eat them.

Review 33：We stayed in one of the Bungalows which was spacious, spotlessly clean and had a nice terrace overlooking the marina. Rooms cleaned and towels changed on a daily basis and all staff members extremely helpful when required. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and set us up for the rest of the day. Regular bus service from outside the hotel to the lovely town of Ciutedella which we used on several occasions. Really enjoyable stay.

Review 34：now the hotel is adult only there were either mature people or the 18plus which did not mix as the majority of people in May/June were mature but everyone hated the very loud music ok when music was soft but come the afternoon it went very lound

Review 48：Bungalow we had was very good, our large terrace at the back overlooked the marina. However the apart-hotel only does breakfasts, which were not 4* & quite often the "hot" food was barely lukewarm, location was excellent though.

Review 49：Would not take half board option again, Fiesta restaurant food ok, and the 10 euro charge pp per day a fair amount for a three course meal but found food a bit cafeteria in style. If you book 7 nights half board you can eat for two nights in other restaurants next door, but again only ok. Dont expect too much.Breakfast in the casas del lago, very good, and even provided gluten free bread .

Review 51：Was told we cldn't use certain sunbeds in pool area as they were having private party(abt 80 local Spanish turned up on the Sunday ,we had been there day 3 of our 14 day hol) we and other guests looked on bewildered as the the pool area was turned into a loud scenario from Ibiza which lasted well into the late hours.(I love music actually,we all just felt PUSHED OUT!)Also had to ring reception 4 times cos maids kept leaving us out for Wkly bed change.CASAS USED TO BE FAB. SADLY NOT ANYMORE.(they cater more for the locals now,def not us english ,a big let down,nothing we cld do as we paid hol in full 8 months b4!.!

Review 57：We booked this in January yet on arrival were allocated Apt 1- ground level facing the lovely toilet block. Needless to say we stood our ground until moved. Avoid patents 1-4. Despite sitting at the farthest end of the pool the resident dj kept cranking up the music and insisted on playing club style music not suitable for the clientele-this. Put us off taking the round or Balinese us beds available at an additional charge. We couldn't have put up with the constant din. This hotel is not yet adult only - it is said to be coming from next year. Many children under 2 were there and rather than put the families in the same apartment are they were dotted all over therefore disrupting many residents rather than just each other. The bathrooms really need updated. Apartments are not 4 star, no iron or ironing board. Very,very limited crockery and utensils. Luckily we were only there for a week and weren't cooking. The settees weren't comfortable without bringing pillows through from the bedrooms. They were too wide (they were doubling as beds) for children.

Review 58：Gorgeous setting and pool area. This is 4 star but the apartments are not. Breakfast was very good. The bed was very comfortable although the apartment was very hot despite air con (which wasn't overly effective) . Plenty storage for 2. People.

Review 69：A few negatives, nothing major apart from the air-con: 1) WIFI - Couldn't access it from the apartment, had to go down to the main part of the hotel. Not a big deal, but I personally need access to internet to check on my business when I am away. 2) Air-conditioning - This was very poor in the apartments as it was not very strong or cold. This made it uncomfortable on some of the hotter nights. This was my biggest annoyance. 3) TV - Only a couple of English channels. Not a big issue as I don't go on holiday to watch TV, but it's nice to have a few more choices when you do want to take a break from the sun! 4) DJ - Mostly enjoyed the music from the DJ at the pool but at times it was a bit annoying when you want to relax.

Review 70：Plenty to like: 1) Location - best location in my opinion, right next to all the restaurants with a great view overlooking the marina. Also only 50 metres or so from the beach. 2) Pool - really nice pool, big and never too busy. Perfect pool to relax in and cool off. 3) Bar - nice staff, drinks and food available from the bar right next to the pool. 4) Apartments - nice big apartments, plenty of space and nicely furnished! 5) Breakfast - Was very impressed with the breakfast, much better than we were expecting with lots of choice from cooked breakfasts to fruit and pastries.

We had an overpriced hotel room with NO outside space, just a window facing the Burger King car park, so had to use the poolside area for 'relaxation', which was anything but!

Review 79：We have just come back from a 2 week holiday at the Casas del Lago Beach Club and had a fantastic holiday. The staff were very friendly, especially at the beach club bar, they make the best Pina Caladas we have ever had!! We stayed in one of the Bungalows ( No 65) it was to die for, the views across the marina and restaurants was just outstanding. Absolutly would stay here again...

Review 82：The hotel does have a bit of an identity crisis going in. House music is played throughout breakfast which was weird and not so relaxing. They also have a live dj at the pool bar every other afternoon playing Ibiza style chill out tunes. Ok for us late 30 something's but we were probably the youngest there. Bit strange.

Bus outside hotel takes you to cuitadella which is well worth a visit.

Review 85：Apartments were a little dated, and noise from adjacent apartments could be a problem, thankfully we didn't hear much, bit of baby crying, closing wardrobe doors etc. We went half board, and although the meals we had were good, the Fiesta restaurant would not have been somewhere we would normally have chosen to eat! You were allowed to eat one night in the Italian and one night in the fish restaurant, both owned by the hotel, they were nicer. The worst aspect was the fact that the wi-fi never worked, and clearly hasn't worked for some time, as we read this on past reviews before we went, the management clearly need to treat this as a matter of urgency.

Review 86：The hotel was very nice. Spotlessly clean! The staff were fantastic, from the beach club bar staff, (amazing piña colada's), reception staff, cleaning ladies, all of whom could not do enough for you! We had a 2 bedroom apartment, which was nice, very clean, towels changed every day, sheets changed once in the week. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was really good, a fantastic choice, waiting on staff very efficient and pleasant. Staff in all three restaurants where we ate in the evenings, were fantastic, and worked very hard, nothing was too much trouble. We loved the fact that there was no 'organised entertainment'! Pool area was amazing, very clean, lots of sun beds, however this didn't deter some of the Brits getting out there at the crack of dawn with their towels to claim their spot for the day!! Very funny!!

Review 87：Casas Del Lago is without doubt the best beach club hotel in Menorca!! Very luxurious and the staff go above and beyond to make sure everything be you need is there. Super helpful snd very attentive. Surroundings are spectacular, overlooking the Marina with the beach just a could if minutes away. Fabulous 5 star!!!

Review 88：There was the most noisiest part held for external guests on the Sunday afternoon/evening, when approx. 200 young people turned up at the pool/bar, the DJ cranked up the music and they totally took over the area. Impossible to stay so had no choice but to leave the hotel for rest of day/evening. Didn't stop until 10pm. Diners in the marina were comlaining all night as you could still hear the music in the marina. We were only there for a long weekend - totally ruined our stay. Put a complain into the hotel but according to staff, the owner organises and approves the parties, apparently they're quite a good earner for him - say no more!!!

Review 90：Not enough staff - took ages to get a drink made at the bar and they didnt actively serve you! I was told to 'come back in 15 minutes' for x 2 coffees! They didnt clean the tables round the pool and should only serve plastic cup and there were a number of broken glasses while we were there with a crawling baby - not ideal!

Review 92：Some of the staff, the noise of the DJ, the monotony of the same music daily, it was now a hotel and beach club - previously a hotel and apartments when we booked, AND especially the beach party which was 17.00 to 21.00 and continued until 1.00 the following day with behaviour of the invited guests making English youth look like saints! This spoilt our holiday.

Review 100：So many babies crying and winging at breakfast time! There were so many that we thought it must have been compulsory to pick one or two up at the airport and that somehow we had missed the pick up point!
