Review 1：Did not know there was a free breakfast until it was too late and over. We were not told about it at check in.

Review 3：the owner of this hotel made the diner. wich was very untastefull....the meat came from the freezer and the mashed potatoes of a pack...much to expensive what we had to pay for it!!!

Review 17：Helpful and accommodating staff. The owner/proprietor was personally involved and eager to make sure we were comfortable with three small children. Even wound forward time so that our four year old could enjoy the cuckoo-clock. Good breakfast.

Review 18：We had a family room with old-fashioned heaters that in the beginning(supposedly after not having been used for a while, filled out the roomwith a smell of gas or something that gave our family members aheadache). The bathroom had no heater so at temperatures of -11 coutside, going on the toilet was not pleasant. Extra child bed (veryhard) at additional Eur 15 per night was very expensive.

Review 19：Very quiet location in Lenzkirch. Small town with a couple of stores andrestaurants. Sleighing possibilities nearby but otherwise have to travelwith car to go skiing.

Review 20：Pillow were too soft. I had a request for additonal pillows for ourarrival, and no extra pillows.I Guess no one read the specialrequest box.

Review 21：The town had plenty of resturants and shops. Breakfast was good, freshcheese,lunchmeat, cereals, the usual.

Review 22：The proprieter of this hotel, Herr Reiner, is very kind and extremely helpful and has a good working knowledge of English. Rooms were very spacious and offer balconies with a pleasant view of the surrounding town. A pass for the local trains and busses througout the Black Forest was provided to us. Breakfast buffet provided in the classic dining room (clocks and all) was wonderful. I have stayed here twice in the past 14 months and look forward to my next visit.

Review 23：Slightly expensive for the facilities provided but that could be because of the late booking and rush period when we traveled.

Review 24：Outside normal touristy areas but not too far from civilization. Well located if you are spending time in the black forest area. While not excellent facilities definitely reasonable.

Review 25：Dirty rooms , unbelievably poor organization.We booked for three doubleroo ms but we actually received a small and cold double room plus oneawful and dirty room on the last floor, under the roof, with no fireescapes , unsafe and possibly illegal stairs to get to the room. Thewhole last floor was almost abbandoned or in the middle of years longrenovation.To make it worse drink were expensive.
