Reviews for Parkhotel Plauen

Review 1:they do not accept AMEX Breakfast could be better

Review 2:the staff The room (room 9) Free parking Location

Review 3:Very kind personnel, rich and tasty breakfast, beautifull (secession) design.

Review 4:No fan/AC, breakfast was ok, no elevator

Review 5:Friendly staff

Review 6:The drive to this hotel led you through many streets with boarded up buildings. However, it was lovely once you arrived. Also, the reception staff did not speak any English, but we did work through it with our limited German.

Review 7:The hotel is housed in a lovely old mansion. The room had very high ceilings and nice details for comfort. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and smelled wonderful! We had dinner at the restaurant, which was more gourmet than anticipated and lovely. There is a menu in English for the restaurant which is quite comprehensive without including typical German "biergarten" food. My assorted salad with bread was delicious. Breakfast, which was included the next morning, included both warm and cold options. The freshly prepared muesli with yogurt, honey and fruit was delicious. While our plans only had us spending one night in this location, I would definitely stay in the hotel again if the opportunity arose.

Review 8:There is no elevator, so this can be a problem. The staff helped us on arrival by carrying our large piece of luggage up the 2 flights of stairs. At the moment, there is a lot of construction going on, this caused some confusion for visitors coming to see us at the hotel.

Review 9:The breakfasts were quite good. We also had an evening meal in the restaurant and it was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful, responding quickly to requests.

Review 10:Very friendly staff. Large comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. Excellent bar and restaurant incl north German cuisine. Location ok but a bit of a walk into Plauen.

Review 11:The room was not so big, but I found it cleaned and with a cozy atmosphere.

Review 12:Hotel in a good position, close to the city centre. Breakfast included in the room price and no extra pay for the room service and the late check out (requested in advance). The hotel staff was really kind and helpfull.

Review 13:Value for money
