Review 1：Extremadura Hotel is well located and very easy to reach, it is a very big hotel with many rooms. It has one of the most complete, varied and tasty breakfasts I've ever saw and tried in a hotel! The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, without noise from the outside even being located in a very busy avenue. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy and the bathroom very clean and big. The hotel parking is a bonus (despite being surcharged) because on a saturday night is very hard to find a parking spot in the area. It is a bit far from the Monumental City center but you can reach it in 5 minutes by car, if you are lucky enough to have green traffic lights :)

Review 2：WIFI is still a problem and is complicated to use. It struggles to reach the upper floors. Parking at 12 euros a night is exorbitant, especially since there is abundant free parking on nearby side streets, where it is safe to leave your car at night. The television set is still the old fashioned model of ten years ago. Not having a flat screen TV in a four star hotel is bizarre to say the least.

Review 3：Good location within walking distance of center and the old quarter of the city. Breakfast is excellent with a large choice while the adjoining cafeteria provides moderately priced snacks and inexpensive dinners.

Review 4：It didn't affect us but the entrance lobby is vast and unwelcoming, nothing has been done to make it a nice place to meet up or linger.

Review 5：Travelling through to the Algarve so easy access from the motorway was important as well as a garage for our full car. Comfortable room and good bathroom

Review 10：You only lost 100% because we found the beds rather too hard for our older bones ! We were only staying one night and the receptionist told us to ask for a softer mattress on our next visit. Very welcome news as this was our only concern.

Review 12：Air conditioning didn't work. It was cooler outside than in and cooler in the hallway than our room. Since we got home at midnight we didn't want to be delayed going to sleep any later. We slept without sheets and were hot anyway. The mattress was too hard for me. It had no pillow top and I thought was a cheap mattress for a nice hotel. It was not comfortable

Review 15：the fact that from next january they will not be taking dogs which is a great shock to us. we stay there 4 times a year two times with dogs two times without which will cause us a lot of trouble

Review 41：Eveything.Certainly one of the best hotels we have stayed in during our manytravels around Europe.The buffet breakfast catered for every taste from mounains of all types of sliced fresh fruit , freshly squeezed orange juice, and good old bacon egg and sausage to all the usual continental breakfast items. This was a great experience in a luxury hotel at a budget price €57 for two including breakfast.A little extra if you require secure parking.

Review 43：Our room or suite as we think we had been upgraded was very nice, even though the room was on the front of the building it was still quiet and no noise from the road outside.

Review 44：There was no one readily available who could help translating the dishes on the restaurant menu. Eventually i was able to get the receptionist to give me a rough translation to say what meat fish it was etc, he was too busy to explain fully. In comparison the breakfast items had labels written in english when there was less need as you could see what the food was!!

Review 45：Ridiculous policy of setting air conditioning cooling or heating based on the month of the year. It was 27deg outside and the only ventilation we had was heated air because in Oct. cooling air is turned off. WiFi was patchy and kept logging off. Our room excited into a nice lounge area, but on leaving room at night the area was in complete darkness with serious risk of falling over coffee table. Lights in hall only come on when you are well into the hall.

Review 49：We arrived on Sunday so the main restaurant was closed and we had a meal in the cafeteria which was to say the least abysmal. I was given a raw hamburger which I did not eat, this was taken away without any comment as to whether I would have preferred something else instead and was charged for it. My partner's meal wasn't much better.

Review 58：We have used this hotel before when travelling through Spain and chose it again mainly because of the easy access to the motorway and availability of secure garage car parking facilities. We feel it offers good value for the price charged and would choose it again for a one night stopover.

Review 59：The Parking was accessible from the lobby without any key or security check. A person entent on breaking into a car could walk through reception down to the parking break into a car and leave again by the same route unchecked. The Charge for Dog is a bit excessive at euro 18 plus tax.

Review 69：This is a large hotel away from the center but within 10/15 min walk from the old town. The bedroom was large with comfy beds and a nice size bathroom. The breakfast was good and offered a good choice. They have a secure garage so we knew the bike was safe and it has easy access to the hotel. Its a good over night place to stay and we would stay here again. The old town is well worth a visit with some lovely places to eat.
