Reviews for Bielsa

Review 1:The welcome of the staff, the fabulous location, excellent dinner and buffet breakfast. Just a stroll away is the lovely little village of Bielsa and everywhere you look amazing views of the mountains.

Review 2:There was nothing to dislike.

Review 3:Extremely friendly hotel. Excellent choice for comfort, exploration of the magnificent Pyrennes, either by car or walking - we are now a little too mature to climb, etc., and a splendid choice of delicious dishes to round off wonderful days.

Review 4:The staff were brilliant and very helpful at all times. Excellent facilities at a very competitive rate. The evening meal was excellent as was the breakfast. Local walks were very varied and the vilare had a helpful tourist info plus good shops and restaurants.

Review 5:Nothing

Review 6:Everything was of the highest standard, the grand spacious entrance hall, the furnishings, decor, en suite facilities, cleanliness, and the breakfast, which was an optional extra. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Excellent location for travelling back to TouLouse airport from the Pyrenees.

Review 7:The only downside of my stay was that they had problems with the wi-fi intermittently but overall that wasn't a hardship.

Review 8:The location of the hotel was superb, some lovely drives up into the mountains nearby and the hotel itself was spotless.

Review 9:Unfortunately we didn't like bielsa , we normally stay in ainsa , which is friendly and has good restaurants . This is not a reflection on the hotel though

Review 10:Friendly staff , people smiled which seemed rare in the rest of bielsa! Easily accessible hotel

Review 11:As in other countryside hotels, if you do not speak Spanish, you may encounter communication difficulties.

Review 12:The hotel is located near the highway, but there is no noise. Other Bielsa hotels (except the Parador) are located in the village and parking near them is not allowed. In this hotel you can park near the entrance to the building. The staff are efficient, friendly, and accomodating special requests.

Review 13:The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and great value for money! The location was good for walking/hiking as well as sightseeing by car - so many places to visit. Thoroughly recommended. We shall return for a longer stay.

Review 14:Nothing! I will be back as soon as I can!

Review 15:Excellent location, this hotel had everything we needed, staff were friendly and very helpful, food was great, and all at a quarter of the price of the nearby parador!

Review 16:No complaints.

Review 17:The facility's in the hotel were good but due to my wife's back problem she found the bed to firm. As a result we mentioned this to a member of staff who imedeatly arranged for a blanket to be placed folded on top of the mattress and under the bottom sheet which solved the problem. The food was good, plentiful and a reasonable price. All in all, good value for the money

Review 18:nothing

Review 19:the hotel offeres a wide selection of food for breakfast. The room we got was big and had a nice little balcony with mountain view. In a few minutes you can reach the town center. The hotel has an own parking space and you don't have to drive through the little alleys of Bielsa. The hotel also offers a big outside area.

Review 20:Wifi did not work most if the time, and when it did, it wasn't strong, and hen would get interrupted. Also our room was above the dining room, so it was loud in the morning.

Review 21:Location and affordability was great. The dinner was a good deal too.

Review 22:Comfortable, clean, friendly staff, reasonable price, no complaints.

Review 23:Rooms are bad soundproofed.

Review 40:Family run. Second home.

Review 41:Ideal location for a few days motorcycling in the Pyrenees. Good restaurant.

Review 42:Nothing. Note that the hotel is not in the centre of the old village but just a five minute walk up to it.

Review 43:Comfortable and good sized rooms with helpful and friendly staff who will help orient you to the area. If you have a car, you park for free directly in front of the hotel. Hotel is an excellent base for hiking in the beautiful national park nearby and the surrounding area.

Review 44:We planned so that we around lunchtime would arrive at the hotel and eat there. At 1430 I entered the lobby to see some young kids playing there and a lady sitting behind a desk and reading a magazine. The lobby was large and dark with no admosfeer. I told her that we had reservation and if we could eat lunch. No we have closed the kitchen. You can go further down the road and find restaurant there. So we did. On our return the kids and woman were gone and now there was a man sitting behind the desk. We got the key for the room which looked OK. But later we found out light bulbs were not working and after flushing the toilet the water kept running so I turned of the the tap. Next morning - 0800 hours - another person behind the desk. I do speak 5 languages but he had a different one. No there is no breakfast only after 0930 maybe. No he could not operate the payment with credit card, also after 0930 hours and the same for a invoice. I paid cash but no invoice only after 0930. With some mumbeling he left the desk and we the hotel. Never again and my advise to other travelers just pass this hotel.

Review 45:On our annual holiday trip by car from Estepona (Marbella) to Helsinki (Finland) we decided this year to take National roads and experience, for us, new hotels/restaurants. Our first stop was in Utiel ( El Tollo). This hotel in Bielsa is directly on the main road towards France. And this is really the only plus point I can give.

Review 46:Only problem was unreliable wifi.

Review 47:Comfortable. Welcoming staff. Good position. Good views from all the balconies. Close to village. Excellent breakfast. Clean.

Review 48:As this was our first morning in Spain we missed lovely French bread at breakfast time. Otherwise nothing.

Review 49:This is a comfortable clean and well run hotel in a perfect location for travellers in the Pyrenees National Parks, whether by car, cycle or on foot. It is also handy for the village centre. We had excellent views from our balcony. Above all this place is a bargain. We had bed breakfast and dinner for two, including a decent bottle of wine, for about 93 euros

Review 50:There was nothing to criticise.

Review 51:Convenient stopover en route to central Spain. Friendly, spotlessly clean and good rooms. We stopped here again when returning to France.

Review 52:We loved this hotel, and hopefully will return in the future again. The location is superb, the staff friendly and accommodating. Absolutely no complaints.

Review 53:Nothing, all facilities available at most reasonable prices

Review 54:Having stayed at this hotel over the last 15 years, we always find the staff welcoming and only to pleased to help and advise you.

Review 55:The food (dinner and breakfast) left little to be desired. I wasn'toverly impressed with the main girl (woman) in the dining room either. She wasn't too friendly. However, all other staff were friendly.

Review 56:The view from our room was lovely and the surrounding area breathtaking. We liked the proximity to the walking tracks of the Pyrenees.

Review 57:We had to carry on our journey, will be back!
