Reviews for El Cerro de la Luna
Review 1:It is not easy to find, on Tuesday, when the Restaurant is closed, the best thing is to call them when you come because the gate might be closed. Bus transfer (which is mentioned in the discription) only refers to the way to the Camel Park nearby the hostel but not to Los Christioanos. One dining area for guests is in front of two of the bed rooms. So if other guests come home it might get loud. In my case there was no problem.
Review 2:Spacious rooms, beds are o.k., common kitchen with everything you need for use, good views, quiet (outside), nice garden areas. Beautiful bathrooms - there are two of them for 4 rooms so shared facilities in my opinion is no problem. I only stayed there overnight on the way to La Gomera - also it is outside I think it is still much bedder (and cheaper) than most of the places in Los Christianos. A taxi from Los Christianos costs about 8 Euro, on the way back you can easily catch a bus. The people running the place are friendly and helpful. Certainly a good place fo a longer stay.
Review 3:the only two things that could be better is the Wi-Fi signal is very poor, it works but you have to walk around to find it ;), and could be closer to a shop, but if you have a car then everything is close
Review 4:I love the place for its cosy atmosphere as I don't like big hotels, this place is quiet and has lovely food in the restaurant
Review 5:Having a toilet outside of my room.
Review 6:I loved the premises and the fact that you felt like you were staying in someone's home. Everything was charming, cozy and very unique. I enjoyed having animals around too. The sky at sunset and the starts at night were a priceless treat as well!
Review 7:It could be little bit complicated to get there without car. Shower and toilets are outside. Cocks start crowing in early morning.
Review 8:Very beautiful, calm, quiet and cozy place in the farm. Nice room with comfortable bad. Big, nice yard with nice views, tables and domestic animals.
Review 9:One of the windows in our room wouldn't close properly. Being at a higher elevation, it is slightly colder and windier than at the coast. This meant the room was quite cold. The WiFi was barely usable.
Review 10:Close to the main resorts in the south. Fantastic and quiet setting, in particular the yard with patios and gazebos which you can use as a guest. Plenty of animals on the property, including a friendly dog, and a camel park just a small walk down the hill. The owners are friendly and very helpful.
Review 11:The facilities were shared by relatively many people and not cleaned once over all our stay (4 nights). Our bedroom seemed more like a storage than appropriate bedroom, with old shoes, masks, books lying around, quite dusty and little space to turn around for two people (however, our friends' room was nice). Overall, we were disappointed with the quality, even if it's a budget place and we were not expecting luxury.
Review 12:It had an interesting look and atmosphere, quite relaxing.
Review 13:- you have to walk outside to go to toilet (2 for all the rooms) - we came back one evening and the doors to all our rooms (2) were wide open even after we left them unlocked. All our valuables were in the room and nothing was missing but this was super weird - Wi Fi is suuuper slow - Restaurant looked promising but we didn't enjoy it - Rooms are inconsistent - ours was very nice but our friend's room was very inhospitable and had other people's stuff in it - windows are old (problem if it is windy) and beds are squeaky (waking people up at night)
Review 14:- the overall feel of the place was fresh and nice - our room was comfortable (not applicable for the room where our friends stayed) - kitchen was nice - bathrooms were clean
Review 15:Upon arrival door was closed as restaurant was closed. would be good if Booking.com would have let me know about that (no problem though, called the owner and she was there to welcome us).
Review 16:very friendly and multilingual staff, easy to deal with and available; other guests also easy to deal with and friendly and nice. Room clean, bathrooms also clean, never had to wait/queue for shared facilities. The dog on site is absolutely kid friendly. Camel Park is just great for kids.
Review 17:Very lovely dogs there and cosy setting!
Review 18:hard to find - over booking.com: just add the information "camel park"
Review 19:beautifull place, beautifil sight. easy to reach the beaches by car.
