Review 1：Convenience, with an ideal location to get to the city center, out to the University, or get your train. The stay made more comfortable by a friendly and helpful staff.

Review 2：The air con was non existent and mentioning this to the manager the response was poor "it will cost too much to install so we have no intentions of installing". In other words during a hot spell the guests can struggle to stay cool and uncomfortable as the management seem to put cost of investing to improve the facilities above the comfort of their guests.

Review 46：I was visiting the Essen fair. Very good option for all. The hotel is 50m from the train station! You take a train to Essen Hbf (journey takes 5minutes=2nd stop). You switch right on the train station to U11 subway. Takes 30 minutes to get to the fair. A good and comfortable option to everybody visiting a show in Essen for a fair price (relativly during the fair)

Review 47：I travel a lot and this is the first time a must make a poor review of a hotel. I had specified for a non-smoking room. This whole place stank of cigarette. I don't mind smokers, but when I ask for a non-smoking room I expect to get one. The room was really filthy and didn’t have a spare electrical plug near the bed. The free wireless connection didn’t work. There is no parking (as stated). Under which circumstances did this hotel get a 4 star rating? Sorry but I would definitely not recommend this hotel and will never go there again.

Review 51：The room with the good wifi strength had inadequate heating. I calledthe reception and they brought up an extra blanket along with a portableelectric heater. Since I was staying for more than a night, I hadexpected to get another complimentary bottle of water as well as lotion(that is included in the toiletries) but they weren't provided. For theprice I have paid, that was the least I expected. Nevertheless I amsatisfied with the room, location and service.

Review 52：I was allocated a single room which I found did not have adequate wifistrength. I told the receptionist and she was very kind to switch me toanother single room with a very good wifi connection. Overall, the roomwas great, bed was also comfy, toilet and shower were very clean. Thehotel is right across the main train station but since it doesn't have aflashy entrance as expected from a 4-star hotel, people might miss itthe first time round.
