Review 1：Studio appartments are basic, however adequate. They could do with a sofa to sit down on together rather than having to use the bed when staying in for a night.

Review 9：A small complex of 42 apartments in an ideal situation. Although not modern the spacious apartment was very clean and all the staff worked tirelessly tending the gardens and cleaning the communal areas. Always sun beds available and pool area very nice.

Review 12：the only thing bad I would have to say is if you are staying on the side of road...move far too noisy, cleaning streets at 4pm, {blowers} emptying rubbish throughout night. AND the pool turns your costumes (if you have light colours) GREEN and hair if you have bleach highlights, all were using tomato sauce to remove, told owner he said no one had said anything but people had, even seen a little boy who had air skin.

Review 14：Big beds in rooms, nice view from terasse and all what you need in the kitchen. The location is great. In silent area and five minutes by walk to the beach.

Review 15：Tap in kitchen was a bit dirty on arrival and there was some wear and tear in the bathroom. Bar by pool was not open late or 7 days but seen as it was run by 1 lady that is understandable.

Review 16：Beds were really comfy. Reception staff were friendly and helpful; we booked car hire through them and they helped us to sort a problem with our transfer. Cleaning staff also good. Location was excellent...Los Gigantes is great.

Review 19：Do NOT pay for the WiFi, it is mostly useless. Buy prepaid SIM with data plan instead from a phone shop: it is cheaper, faster and usable in whole island. Bus traffic starts at 6.30 am, if you are unlucky you will wake up in the morning when they speed up on the street.

Review 20：Roomy, clean apartment at good location. Many decent restaurants near by, most noisy pubs are far enough. Pool is not spoiled with heating, so water is wonderfully refreshing. Hotel's price-quality ratio is good: you'll get what you pay.

Review 23：It is not suitable for youth, get ready to be judged and stared at by every old person staying there and there were almost only elderly people staying in the complex. Last night we were talking in a normal volume on the balcony when upstairs neighbor asked us to stop talking, we were ok and went inside and then heard loud banging on our ceiling meant for us to be quiet, also receptionist was very unprofessional about the situation because firstly simply rushed into apartment and walked around, then asked us to talk more quietly and not to go on balcony at all which is quiet against law, we understand that neighbors and receptionist could ask us to be quiet if we would be having a party, shouting and playing loud music, but I have worked in a hotel at nights myself and would never ask guests to not talk in a normal volume. I understand it can be quiet annoying and bothering for neighbors, but you can not do anything about it if you want to stay in a cheap apartment, need to accept it or pay accordingly for a soundproof accommodation. In the end those neighbors with their banging on our ceiling did more damage than we and woke up one of our friends who was perfectly sleeping in our apartment right next to balcony even with our talking and they woke up also other neighbors in the building. WiFi is way too bad to ask to pay for it. Laundry machine is also quiet bad and old, would not do my laundry again there especially for 4 Euro.

Review 24：Price/quality ratio is great, it depends probably which apartment you get, but we were really happy with the spacious apartment with a view to the city and could see ocean. It might be quite depressing though if you get an apartment facing a wall. Cleaning ladies were awesome and did a great job, you get cleaning every day except Sunday and Wednesday. Receptionists during the day were ok, polite and helped with everything. It was a great deal taking in account that the accommodation cost less than I am paying for apartment at home.

Review 70：I realise it's not El Sombrero's fault but we had quite a few cockroaches, I suspect being on the ground floor. This was off putting but can happen in any hot climate. Missed a microwave. Also could do with an extra plug socket in kitchen. Had to share between toaster and kettle.

Review 77：Spacious room with good view out to sea and of La Gomera, the island across the strait.. Friendly, attentive, responsive and effective staff. Close to bus stop - Los Gigantes is a hub for bus services to most parts of the island. Also quite close to shops for self-catering.

Review 88：Equipped with time-honored but furniture. The apartment is not fitted for young couples on an romantic holiday trip. Ideal for mature couples. There were no double-beds available. The cleaning service was working unsatisfactorily – during my stay (4 days) the cleaners attended only once in our room. You have also to pay extra for the TV. Also a lack of air conditioning is a big problem. We had to open the windows to fall asleep. They have also a problem with bed bugs. If you book the hotel via hotel via Booking.com – attention. The was no possibility to finalize the payment with credit cards. You can pay only in cash what can be very uncomfortable, if you travel without cash, due to commissions connected with ATM-paycheck. A lack of young people. The resort is dominated by British tourists mostly pensioners from the provinces.

Review 89：First of all we liked the location. The resort is situated in the centre of Los Gigantes. The bus station was in our opinion a very good aspect. Also the restaurants and shops are really near. You have a wonderful view from your balcony on the town, sea and of course La Gomera. It is wonderful to see the sunset every day. The area is quiet so you can really lay down and relax. Spacious studio apartment with a big kitchen.

Review 91：Los Sombrero is situated in a very quiet area and contemporary three minutes walk from port, beach, and from the little nice square with shops and restaurants, in Los Gigantes, one of the best little town of Tenerife. Easy and free parking in the street alongside the apartaments . Our apartament has a wide living room from wich you can go in the big balcony, a corner with kitchen full of appliance and dishware of every kind (included dish, glasses and cup new and of the same shape and colour !), a good bedroom and a wide bathroom with its own window. We had booked espressely an apartament with sea wiew and so it was. From the balcony and from the living room we have seen wonderful sunsets on the ocean with La Gomera island far on the background. The cleaning was excellent and regularly done. A swimming pool is in the center of the small complex of Los Sombrero buildings with maximum of two storeys, really at human size, with gardens with tall and very nice palm trees. Kindness and discretion of the staff were excellent. I asked to the gentle Juan a non slip mat for the bathtub, and when I came back to apartament in the bathroom there was a new non slip mat in the bathroom. What can you find of better !! Review 92：The fact that I had to pay extra for Wi-Fi which didn't work. No TV unless you pay, and Safe was extra money to use too. I think this should all be included as part of normal service. Toaster tripped Circuit Breaker every time I tried to use it! And quite bad smell of drains/ sewer in toilet......Apart from that...ok.

TV finns inte, kan hyras likaså värdeskåp (dyrt 60 euro för 4 veckor) Relativt dåligt med köksutrustning bl.a en bra kockkniv samt andra dagliga köksredskap. Frukost kan inte köpas i poolbaren. Öppnar först kl 12.00 Solsängarna inte ställbara i ryggen. Endast en halvstor pool samt en mycket liten barnpool. Vi fick själva köpa in en bra kniv samt en ugnsfast form.

Review 111：TheFurniture in the Apartment was not very confortable to relax on. We would have liked a dobble Bed with a single Matress insted of two single Beds. The TV was on a Cabinet Unit in the Dining area, too far away from the sitting Unit in the Living area. the Size & the angle of the TV to the Sites made it very difficult to watch a Program. It was a pitty that we found out only on the last few Days, that we could have bought a "Bono-Card" for the local Busses to make the Travel to different Resorts a lot cheaper.
