Review 1：having to leave...

Review 2：This place is paradise. Away from everything, yet only 5 miles from Valle Fertil, You are in the middle of the mountains, with a beautiful river next door to the house, a few goat, a shy fox and some horses. You can sleep until noon if you wish, for there is no noise apart from a faint sound of water streaming down the mountain. If you live a stressed life, this is your perfect getaway. The owners are superb! Friendly, accomodating but non intrusive. loved this place! The photos dont do justice...... it is paradise!

Review 3：The cottages are located well away from other houses in a very beautiful canyon next to the river coming down from the mountains, with plenty of bird life and insects (especially moths) in the vegetation right around the house. Apart from doves and crickets at night, or bleating goats during the day, there is no noise of any kind. The access road requires about 25 minutes from the town of Valle Fertil, it is unpaved and in places very uneven: 4x4 is not necessary but a car with higher clearance is definitely a plus. Owners Daniel and Tete are very friendly and helpful, one of us went for a really enjoyable 2 hour horse ride with Daniel to explore the trails and pass by two Fincas that are located even further into the canyon.

Review 4：Reached the house after 8km of trail at night following the owner who waited for us in the city. Fantastic surprise in the morning! The owners, husband & wife, are so nice and helpfull! It's not a standard "hotel", it's a place to come for few days, diconnect and enjoy a great landscape...we came in for 1 night and stayed 2!

Review 5：We needed our 4 wheel drive to ford the 8 water crossings to reach this place. It would have been impossible to reach it in an ordinary car - we had not been told this.. The finca was old fashioned, and dirty. It was not what I expected for a 9.5 rated place
