Review 1：Simply the best, if you are looking for peace and nature. The room was comfortable and very clean, although basic, but the highlight of this place was the meadow down the backyard of the hotel. A pleasant green, with a small picnic area under a big tree, a breathtaking view to the Dark Forest greenery, and just the bell sound from the many cows that quietly ate nearby. Heaven on Earth for us stressed citymen. Perfect starting point to visit the region, but still a peaceful hideout from the busy Titisee Lake touristic area. We'll come back.

Review 9：A bit isolated if you dont have your own car & activities outdoors (it is about 20 car minutes away from ski lifts in Feldberg); not only is it in the middle of nowhere, but also during my stay, there was almost nobody. But my God, what a views and how peaceful and silent; if that is what you want, it's just great!.
Review 10：Taking into account that it is a budget friendly hotel, all things you would want to find were there and working well. The hotel is absolutely in the middle of nowhere, with the most fantastic views around. The hosts really did all to make you feel comfortable and were very helpful and friendly. Very good and complete breakfast, reasonably good dinner, of the typical German cuisine style.

Review 13：Typical German guest house in the deep forecast, well and maturely operated. Its dinning room was warm and nice with rich foods available. Our bedroom was comfortable and clean. Certainly, the sightseeing outside the hotel was wonderful. The first stay of our trip has left us a good impression.

Review 16：Our first night after an overnight flight! What a relaxing, friendly,warm place to be! Crisp white duvets - cowbells softly ringing on thehillside. Beautiful food, prepared by the family (my fish was perfect!).Wonderful rest and bountiful breakfast. Highly recommended! A bit hardto find - on the outskirts of Lenzkirch, take the road to Raitenbuchwhich is out in the country. Easy drive to beautiful Lake Titisee.
Review 17：Very friendly family run guesthouse. The room was large with beautifulview of countryside. Fell asleep to the sound of cowbells. Therestaurant is very reasonably priced and the food amazing. A little outof the way, need a car to access but well worth the trip.

Rooms are very big and nice a bit dated but it has all the black forest charm. Great views from the window, great location for walking, but you must have a car to get anywhere. Overall a relaxing stay in a friendly well run family hotel.

Review 25：The road going there is narrow and going up and it can be hard or evenimpossible to get there by car in case of bad weather. And you reallyneed the car there to get to any facilities (ski, bads, etc)
