Review 2：The manager of the hotel was very kind, the welcoming was super good and he was always thinking about us. He told us all the places we could visit and told us his experiences when he traveled ! He makes the best dominican breakfast!! When we left he even made us sandwhiches for the long trip we were about to make ! Thank you Frank for everything! We hope to see you soon!!

Review 3：I really enjoyed my 4 days stay at this hotel - the owner is very friendly and helpful. I could feel like home, still having the apartment privacy. They even made custom breakfasts for me. Rooms are bright and large, good location.

Review 4：I didnt like the air conditioner is scheduled to shut down for the day. Ten interne has a different password on each level and no elevator.

Review 6：room had peeling paint and mold growing on walls. There were no plates or glasses in the kitchenette, just a few knives and forks and a microwave. I asked them not to clean my room and they insisted that they look at it? I guess to make sure I didn't have any extra people in there? It is not 10 minutes from the airport like they say, it is more like 20. No elevator, no sign indicating that it is the apartahotel Jardines (by the way, no garden). Location is in the middle of nowhere with basically nothing around it.

Review 8：wifi a bit weak at our room. if you want to leave the hotel after 8pm: you always have to search one of the staff to open the door for you - your key is not working at the front door, no english speaking staff Apartahotel Jardines Metropolitanos is not the name of the hotel!!! you have to look for "Plaza Mathilda"

Review 14：Good value for money Room was massive Franck was extremely attentive, and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed. He got a friend to bring me to the bank and supermarket at night, and sent my passport to Santo Domingo after I left it in the hotel. It was overall an excellent experience

Review 16：The price was my biggest consideration when booking this property. The place was a good value for the cost with very good a/c and overhead fan. Breakfast was included and you pre order the before. They no longer bring to your room but they have bright breakfast nook on the 2nd floor with a good view of the mountains.

Review 17：My only wish was that my room had a sofa. Other than that I have no complaints about this place. Only those that want 5 star accommodations but are so cheap to spend the money would complain.

Review 18：Not a ritzy place. But worth the money. If you go out often and need clean sheets, bed, towels, air conditioning, and a free breakfast in the morning this is for you.

Review 19：While security is necessary, the requirement to surrender your room keys, to ring the bell after midnight is big turn-off. One night we rang the bell for an extended period but no one answered forcing us to call and hope someone answer. Another night we went to get our car from the gated garage and there was a chain rapped around another gate that led from the hotel stairs to the garage where the car was parked. It's a good thing the chain didn't have a lock on it. We also felt as if we were being hostage and at the mercy of hotel staff to let us out of the hotel (the main door was locked during our stay and in order to get out we had to requests staff's assistance.

Review 21：There is a metal gate as a front door. You cannot come in and out as you please, someone has to actually come open the door for you. You cannot bring whoever you want inside. The owner needs to approve even if you paid for double occupancy. The Air Conditioner does not work 12 hours out of the day. Even when it does work it barely cools the room 5 degrees. The wifi does not work, at least not in my room. The shower head was broken, barely any water coming out. You have to climb stairs as high as 5 floors depending on where your room is. If you like restrictions and just basically use this place to sleep at night it will be fine. But for the money there are better choices in Santiago with much easier access, less restrictions and working air conditioner/wifi/shower.
