Review 1：Not enough English TV channels. I travelled with my elderly parents who don't speak Spanish but do tend to spend a fair bit of time relaxing in the rooms so more English TV channels would have been great for them. Seemed more like an over 50's complex.

Review 34：All the staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. We would have preferred a room which had sun on the balcony in the afternoon but that is not a problem, the room was beautiful. The food in the restaurant was brilliant, something for everyone's tastes. We had a couple of snacks in the bar which were very good value for money as were all the drinks. Many hotels charge a lot more for drinks than the local bars but the hotel was on a par with them, even cheaper when the happy hour (2 hours) was in progress. There were plenty of places where you could sit and relax and there was always plenty of sun loungers round the pool. We loved the hotel, only about 100 yards from the beach, and would definitely recommend it.

Review 35：Staff were very welcoming. Rooms were a nice size and quite quiet. Restaurant and bar staff worked very hard and always happy to serve. Dinners were very nice and staff cleared up very quickly. Location near the beach was perfect. The area is very quiet considering it was early Sept.

Review 37：This was my 4th visit to Los Alcázares, however my first stay to the Hotel Costa Narejos. I travelled with friends and their 12 year old son and we were all very impressed with the service and choice of food at breakfast and dinner, as we had half board. This is very much a family hotel, so ideal if you have younger children. Also very close to the beach, only a 2 minute walk, and wide selection of restaurants. Just under 10 minutes from San Javier Airport.

Review 44：I booked the hotel because it was close to where I was getting some sailing tuition. I wasn't expecting much but I was very pleasantly surprised. Staff were kind and helpful. The room was comfortable as was the bed. The aircon could easily be controlled. Breakfast was fine and snacks and drinks from the bar were great. I had no complaints about anything. I appeared to be the only solo traveller there - everyone appeared to be with older couples or families with children. Not really a place to meet people if you're on your own. There is a boulevard of restaurants over the road. Some are very good.

Review 45：Had to pay for safe and tea/coffee making facilities in your room, found the charges a little high. There was a lack sun beds and sun umbrellas, had to put a towel on early to reserve or use the beach.

Review 46：Good quality and value for money. Food was good standard for a buffet service. Excellent family hotel although mainly Spanish.I found it very friendly despite the language barrier. Close vicinity to the beach which was a good option to have. Beach was clean and water warm. Had a room for single occupancy which had two small double beds these were very comfy. Air con was included and I used this all the time as very hot when I stayed in July. Had a quiet room overlooking a side street which had views over the sea and La Manga. Close to main restaurants and bars.

Review 51：Fab location! very close to the beach and the main 'strip' Very friendly staff, all facilities that we used were great and had no complaints at all! Free Wi-Fi within all of the hotel - better in communal areas but still good signal in the rooms. The room was a nice size always very clean - again no complaints! We didn't eat at the buffet so I cant give my opinion on that. Lifeguard around the pool at all times which was nice to see and super friendly. all in all a fab stay and I would definitely go back again, I only wish we could of stayed longer!

Review 53：Not a complaint but worth pointing out that the hotel is aimed at Spanish holiday makers who's children typically take a lengthy siesta in the afternoons, the restaurant didn't open for dinner until 8pm which was a bit late for my little one. Also the children's evening entertainment started at 10pm until the bar closes at midnight

Review 81：Great value for money, and in a fantastic location. close to shops cafe's resteurants and beach, everything is in close proximity to the hotel, smart, clean, comfortable rooms. seemed to be about 50 /50 in terms of english to spanish clientel which is the perfect mix for good time. opposite hotel is the strip for a lively !!, drink and a meal at a great price (12.95 euros for 2 courses and a drink of choice was available everywhere. All in all i would definately go back again.

Review 82：When we arrived it took a lot of time to check in. At first we were told that the reservation is in another hotel. After we showed the reservation confirmation it took the hotel staff a long time to confirm that with the Booking.com staff.

Review 92：I requested a late check-out before my stay, and twice during it, as my flight did not leave until late that night. I would have been happy to pay for this. I was told it shouldn't be a problem but to confirm the morning of my departure. I was denied a late check-out, even though the hotel was nowhere near full. This was very inconvenient and disappointing, especially as we had not arrived until 10pm on our first night. I wouldn't have booked this hotel if I had known they would not accommodate a late check-out. I cannot understand this, as very few people checked in that afternoon, and there were only a handful of people in the pool area. Put negativity on our stay unfortunately.

Review 106：The food is like school dinners but worse, roast beef turned out to be what looked like boiled beef with all the white fat attached. Chicken breasts in mushroom sauce were rock hard. Nearly broke my teeth on the Churros one morning! I know the half board deal is a good one, but not if you then have to venture out to eat for good food and peace and quiet. It's incredibly noisy in the restaurant, more like a school dining room than a restaurant in a four star hotel. The hairdryer in the room was next to useless, had to keep turning it of to let it cool down. (Hotel 525 have proper salon hairdryers) You have to pay extra for the safety deposit box in the room.(Again, 525 they are included in the price you pay) As they say........you only get what you pay for!

Review 109：Faultless location a few steps from a lovely beach. A good selection of restaurants nearby... we chose not to eat in the hotel as the food is generally great outside anywhere you go in Spain. I think we were the only non-Spanish guests in the hotel (another plus from my point of view). Lot's of very English restaurants for those who opt for Sunday roast or curry :-). Recommend taking the ferry over to the Manga - when you get there head straight over the road to another lovely beach on Mar Mayor.

I suppose you can't have both being so close to the facilities without some disturbance. Didn't spoil the stay though.

Review 127：love this hotel!! I have been to the location three times now and stayed in this hotel twice and loved it! The staff are very friendly and always willing to help in anyway they can, wide selection of food (and to fit all dietary requirements!) I would recommend booking the family room. They were built to be apartments which were attached to the hotel but the planning permission do not follow through therefore you are left with a very spacious living area mini kitchen and two separate bedrooms and a balcony what more could you ask for?

Review 128：The mattresses on the beds are exceptionally firm. Children allowed to use the hotel lobby as a play area. Discussed with the hotel staff, who said it was a problem over the past few weeks, but they didn't know what to do about it.

Review 130：Twin room booked, but room had just 1 double bed. To use the safe, you had to apply to reception. Minibar was empty - literally. I do not want to have to spend time applying to reception for facilities that in other hotels are immediately available. Shower mat on bathroom floor did not fit under the shower door, meaning that the floor got wet. No instructions with air-con. Setting the temperature control did not work at all. Only possible to cool room by setting temperature to maximum !!
