Reviews for Landgasthaus Hotel Maien
Review 1:There was no air con and happened to be very hot weather. No hot drinks facility in room.
Review 2:The Location is fabulous. Good selection of food for breakfast and staff very friendly.
Review 3:The shower room was a bit cramped, and difficult for a wheelchair user, with quite a high step into the shower. We managed, though.
Review 4:The staff went out of their way to help us, and we really enjoyed our stay. We were given a room next to the lift, but in order to avoid steps elsewhere we had to go round the outside of the hotel to get to the breakfast room, so I was given a guided tour to make sure I knew where I was going. A delightful experience in a lovely village, and we marvelled at the wares produced by the resident glassblower.
Review 5:Bery pleasant hotel and helpful staff. Would definitely use again

Review 11:The staff were excellent, friendly, couldn't do enough for us. Just as we were beginning to question why we were being served after some who had arrived after us, the owner came and apologised, explaining he had no English menus so he had personally got one translated and printed just for us! Brilliant! Great room, great value, great food, friendly staff, couldn't fault it, would highly recommend this hotel.

Review 15:Breakfast was very skimpy; food was industrialized, supermarket type, nothing house made nor special nor delicious
Review 16:Excellent location, quiet, calm, peacefull, good sized room withgood bathroom; restaurant was pleasant and food was reasonablypriced and good
Review 17:We like everything about the Landgasthaus! My father-in-law has some difficulty walking though and thankfully there is an elevator. However there is no avoiding stairs in getting into the dining room whether from the outside or inside. There are only a few steps, but a ramp would be beneficial.
Review 18:The owners (the Borner family) and staff made us feel so welcome. Eachone went out of their way to accommodate our family which consisted ofmy husband and I, my 87 year old father-in-law our 23 year old son. Wedo not speak German, however some of the staff speak English very welland they also have menus in English. Fabulous food is served in thelovely and cheerful dining room with its walls of windows and colorfullinens. Our rooms were quite comfortable. My husband and I had a balconywith beautiful long range mountain views...very nice! If we travel backto the area Landgasthaus will be our home away from home!
Review 19:A very good place to stay. Staff were always very helpful.

Review 22:Difficulty to find the place, due to extensive roadwork
Review 23:It was better than 3 stars
